Was here on sunday to watch the NFL Championship games. Great time with some really good football made for an enjoyable day. This was all ruined by the 49er fans who got pissed off and cried like babies when they lost the game. The worst of all was some HEAVY set irish guy who I heard from some regulars is the owner of the place. He went nuts and verbally accosted a customer who had the nerve to root for Seattle, screaming and spitting all over the place. He threw the guy out and cursed him out, all because he was rooting for Seattle. My friends come here regularly, but this was my first time. If this is how the owner treats his customers, its the last time I'll spend my money here. If you do come, watch out for the Big guy with the huge belly who sits at one of the tables in the back. Irish Rover is one of those horrid places that you wished had long gone out of business. The Bartenders pretend to be nice to your face but talk rubbish behind your back. The Owners has no clue or doesn't care that his clientele is the bottom of the gene pool. Drug addicts and hostile men that are willing to fight at a moments notice. Usually, if you give nice tips one gets buy backs but not here. They only give buy backs to THE IRISH customers and charge you full prices during the Happy Hour. Erdinger Beer is the greatest of 'em all! I just read this particluar gentle man who referred Erdinger beer at Irish Rover, and I couldnt stop myself from penning this review. Rover, really rocks! Great ambiance, great beer and great service -- all for $25.00! Man. Every beer lover should come to this place, and forget the damn world. The only thing which I missed was some delicious food. Well, dont worry guys! I have asked the organizers to start serving food as well, and they have assured me that it will happen soon. Enjoy the football, and the beer with some lively crowd. So this wacky fruitcake is runnin his mouth outside the bar about how becky broke snapchat, real estate this series a funding that, and me and my crew walk over to him and give him the heave ho. I go in, order a fuckin 7&7, and tell ol enoch to grab the shillelagh cause troubles about to come this way. I go outside and knock a few heads, send most of the yuppies scattering, and me and the boys go back into the bar and have a lovely evening. What a great little spot! I spent about 4 hours here last weekend and I only left because it was 4 am and my friends were dragging me out! Karaoke? Check Reasonably priced drinks? Check Unpretentious? Check Clean bathroom? Check The vibe is chill- even if you're the worst singer in the world, the crowd will still be supportive. This is where I go when I'm just chillaxing with friends. Nothing pretentious, nothing loud and nothing too fancy, you can actually have a conversation with friends in here. And the beers are well priced too, say like 5 bucks each. And magically I kick butt at darts here too! I don't know if it's the bar or the beer, but I'm exceptional. Irish rover is a great spot with cheap drinks, great deals, great music, and a great place to come to watch some sports. This place is in a great location and they also have a fun sunday night of trivia. The atmosphere is like any irish pub and the decorations are old fashion irish. Love this place! Reminds me of an old Hibernian Hall for all you that know what I mean. Bartenders have been the same since the start (pretty much), and all have that great Irish wit about them. Every time I go in it seems like the glasses get smaller and the prices get higher. Other than most of the bartenders being great. I dont see a reason to go there. Sundays suck because he is the only bartender that is shit. No specials, prices too high for the area, just not worth it. read more

Great spot to dive into for a few drinks. Nothing fancy, but usually not too packed so that you can snag a seat and actually hold a conversation. Service is standard and nothing special, but the usual buy-back policy is in place and health. read more
