Googled this place since I was curious about trying a Korean BBQ. I love that this was all you can eat. I took my co workers for a late lunch on a Tuesday to beat the crowds and we pretty much had the place all to ourselves. So my friend went here a few weeks ago and the waiter made her feel rushed. We came back to try again and unfortunately it is still the same. I had high hopes for this place as I had heard great things about it, but my experience was nothing spectacular and in fact was pretty awful. We tried to make a reservation for 6 and were told that in order to take our reservation we needed a group of 8. We found our group of 8 and at the last minute one was unable to attend. We thought no big deal, but when we arrived at the restaurant and gave our name and size of party- we were told that due to a smaller group we would now have to wait an extra 30 minutes for a table for 7 to open up. Meanwhile, a group of 7 ppl walked in and were seated? Not sure what happened there. The food was ok, and nothing great. your sides are limited. If you've gone to other Korean BBQ places, you know you get more than 4 sides. Nothing stood out to me that lives up to the hype of this place. The server changed grilltop after beef and attentive enough to change them afterwards when they become "mucky". We got extra servings of the pickled radishes - round, rectangular, slivers. Food is absolutely phenomenal. Service can be a little hit or miss. The last 2 times I went i had an older lady who assumed i hadn't been there or didn't know what i was doing and always was rushing the party. I understand more business is great for them but when I wanna just relax on my fee nights off with friends I don't see ofter I'd rather not be bothered because we're taking our time to eat. Ambiance is a little loud and rowdy, but its to be expected and loved by my friend group at least. Highly recommend. I first went to their location in Chicago, it was decent. But they didn't have brisket in that location which I find odd plus they didn't change our grill into a different kind. Unlike the one here in Glenview, I was really pleased of how the place is. Reasons why the glenview location is better than the one in Chicago. 1. Place is definitely nicer and bigger 2. We were accommodated throughout the whole time we were their despite that they were getting busy. 3. They have brisket 4. Quality of meat was just amazing, can't emphasize enough how I enjoyed all the meat we tried there. 5. I enjoyed the fact that they changed our grill into a different kind of grill. I would not recommend. First red flag no bathroom available to customers! Gross! I had to walk to burger fi to use bathroom. Next, our server had a nasty ass attitude. She seemed like we were inconveniencing her from the beginning. She got an attitude when we asked for napkins, plates and silverware. When we said that we were done eating she brought the bill. this is my go to Korean BBQ place, however, I was disappointed this past weekend. First of all, the online times are wrong, they say they close at 12am, but in reality, they close the kitchen at 10:30 pm. I called once and asked when the kitchen closes, they told me 11pm. A few hour later, I called again to verify TWICE, just had a feeling, they said the kitchen closes at 11. Ok, cool. I show up around 9:15 pm and the receptionist tells me that the kitchen closes at 10:30 pm. WHY in the world did I get told two different hrs? It's so frustrating, and it was just my friend and I. They said that we'd have a 45 min wait and only ONE round to order. We ended up waiting for 15 min, instead of 45 min, and had at least 4 rounds to order food. As I was waiting, there was people walking in and they got told differently. I can't tell if the receptionist was being rude to us. Anyways, our waitress kept walking by us and wouldn't ask if we were okay, or at least ask if we needed to order more. read more
