The Hostess was SUPER friendly and she never stopped working - cleaning tables and checking with guests to be sure everything was satisfactory. The waiter, Gregg, was very attentive and friendly. He did a great job The food was terrific! I ordered Pasta Bolognese and it was absolutely the best I have ever had. Magnificent sauce. My wife ordered "street tacos" and they were great. stuffed with wonderful ingredients - including shrimp. This trip as a perfect experience and we shall return. (sorry the pasta photo is not great. It looked so good I ate quite a bit before I remembered to take a photo)

I've been to Innovo Kitchen in Latham several times over the years and I've enjoyed it every time. They have a unique menu that changes periodically, but I always find something that catches my eye. The interior has an industrial feel which I like, with a lot of exposed brick. The tables are made from old bowling lane wood, which is a really cool touch. When you walk in there is also a bowling pin displayed in a glass case. I remember there being a bowling alley somewhere in that plaza when I was a kid, so it seems likely the building has some history tied to that. The tables are also nice and large, which makes the dining experience more comfortable. Tonight I ordered the Monte Cristo burger which is described as battered Buckley's Bread sourdough, a 6 oz special grind burger, Taylor pork roll, Swiss, and Twin Leaf Farms maple aioli. It was quite tasty and I really enjoyed the hint of maple syrup flavor on the burger. The crinkle cut fries that came with it were also very good. Another person in our party ordered the White Chicken Parmesan, described as a crisp chicken cutlet topped with ricotta and garlic spinach and fresh mozzarella, with garlic parmesan cream and lumache pasta. They said it was delicious. Someone else had the Crispy Skin Salmon and enjoyed that as well. A child at our table ordered macaroni with red sauce. The portion was surprisingly large and they liked it, which is impressive because they are particularly finicky. For dessert we ordered something we've had here several times before, the peanut butter mud pie. It's basically ice cream in pie form with an Oreo cookie crust and chocolate fudge. It's very tasty and also a generous portion. At the end of your meal they also offer everyone at the table a tasty piece of gourmet chocolate. One thing that really stood out tonight was the attentiveness of the management. Two different managers stopped by our table at different times to check and make sure everything was good. I recognized one of them because I've seen him there before and he always seems to make a point of checking in with guests. The other person had seated us so I initially thought she was the hostess, but after she stopped by during the meal I asked if she was a manager and she confirmed that she was. I mentioned that I was impressed that two different managers had checked on us, and that every time I've dined there a manager has stopped by to make sure everything was good. I thanked her and told her it was appreciated. During the summer and fall they also have a very nice patio area for outdoor dining. On cooler nights they have heaters and a fireplace which makes it a great place to sit outside. I will definitely return here again in the future. 5 stars

The customers and staff are welcoming. There is outdoor seating for warmer months. Lets talk about burgers. To.die.for. Burgers are huge, the bun is monogrammed. They can customize any way you wish. And tasty!!! Splurge on the fries with (beef) gravy and plentiful. We have also ordered wings as an appetizer - crispy, tasty with just enough sauce. Mild is VERY mild ( not complaining! ) Your feet will stick to the floor and the food will stick to your ribs. Local or Visitor - please patron and enjoy great food at reasonable price.

The atmosphere is worn and dingy but the warmth and welcoming of the people are well worth the visit. We have driven by this place so many times while visiting Albany and thought no way I would go in there but we were looking for lunch and the reviews were so great we had to try them and I'm glad we did. We had the cheese Quesadilla and Mexican fries. Both were excellent. I really want to try the build a burger but unfortunately today is our last day in town . I would highly recommend a visit because of the warmth and food. Don't let the outside scare you.

They definitely use some butter on that bun. I could taste it and it made the bun nice and crispy too. The burger it self had nice crisp edges and was juicy in the middle. I loved the sauce too. The first time I order a burger at someplace new to me, I always skip the sauces and condiments, so I can taste the flavor of the beef and the toppings. It certainly comes through here! Despite being cooked well, the beef flavor was strong, and the patties remained juicy. I wish they offered Swiss cheese as another possible topping. The fries are not my favorite. I do enjoy crisp fries, and these indeed are. The first few, while still hot, were tasty. But there comes the question, "Can fries be too crisp?" For me, these would be a "yes." While I appreciated the crunch, these were beyond the point where you still have the fluffier texture inside. They almost felt like french-fry shaped potato chips. They're also very filling. One serving could easily satisfy 3 people. I'll want to visit again to try one of their chicken sandwiches. And I saw on one of their signs that they carry Jane's Ice Cream, something I haven't had for a while. Bottom line: I'd come here for a burger or a chicken sandwich, but I'd be likely to get a side elsewhere in the building.

A regular fries and a drink brought the total to around $27 (!). Food was ready in about 5 minutes (they give you a light-up device so you don't have to wait in line) and we took it to our table. I have eaten at another location and knew what to expect. The burger was very good, though also greasy. I like thin, crispy burgers and they do it well though despite the handy paper handle to hold it with your fingers will get very messy. My son absolutely loved his burger too. The fries were much better than what I had experienced at their other location. These seemed pre-cut, perhaps pre-frozen, and coated in cornstarch. The top of the container were nice and crispy though they got soggy as you went down. I wish they arranged them flat on a plate, which might keep their texture better (though result in them getting colder faster). All in all, I like this place. Their prices are very steep for the small burgers you get, but they are high quality. So, I dunno. I can't come here more than for special occasions but when I do I think I will just stick with the burgers and skip the fries.

Since it is a Saturday and they opened at noon, I thought the Brunch menu was available. Nope, it wasn't. For some reason, brunch is only offered on specific days/hours and Saturday isn't one of them. It does not specify that fact anywhere on the Brunch menu. Clarity of communication is important. Lunch menu - Fig & goat cheese pinsa (a lighter style pizza). Fine print: Garlic butter, mozzarella, goat cheese, and fig jam topped with fresh arugula and balsamic glaze. Please rename the item as fig jam mozzarella pinsa; that's more in keeping with what you actually get. There was a literal sprinkle of goat cheese and while there was fresh arugula visible atop the pinsa, to my palate, it amounted to nothing. This item seems like a concoction created by accountants to minimize food costs while maximizing profitability at the cost of infuriating customers. Pluses - it is a quaint and cozily stylish establishment. It is neat and clean. The bartender who took my order was very hospitable and efficient. Despite the pluses, I think I'll pass on this place for the foreseeable future.
