    Sashimi boat and sushi rolls

Truly the best sushi spot with the best staff. For years they have consistently provided excellent food and service, but last night they went above and beyond for my niece 12th birthday. They let us decorate our table area in decorations, offered complimentary side, made the dinner 10/10! The sushi boats are incredible and crunchy noodles are a must. Will always recommend and stop by for dinner whenever in town. Thank you!

    Take out sushi

We just ordered takeout from Iron Chef, and could not be more impressed. Having eaten at most sushi restaurants in Boston and on the North Shore, I can confidently say this spot is a standout. We moved up to this area a few years ago and have been scouring the area for a go-to sushi spot. After ordering Iron Chef tonight, I think we've finally found it. Since it was our first time ordering, we didn't get crazy with our choices, especially because takeout sushi can be tricky to get right, but, everything blew us away--each roll was more delicious than the last, the presentation was so beautiful it felt like we were dining in. You could taste the freshness and quality in every bite. The ordering process was easy, the staff were friendly, and the food was ready right on time. Everything was packaged PERFECTLY, with care. I have never reviewed a restaurant before, but this experience was so good I felt like I had to say something. Iron Chef has earned a top spot on our list for both takeout and dine-in sushi. If you're a sushi lover looking for quality and hopefully consistency, do not hesitate to give this place a try--can't wait to try again!

Perfect! My mother told me about the Iron Chef and mothers know best! Getting there was easy, it is literally one gas station away from the highway. Parking was a breeze as a huge parking lot is right outside the front door. The atmosphere is light, upbeat modern Asian. The staff is friendly and attentive without being bothersome. The restaurant itself is small to medium with a very healthy turnover. The luncheon specials are very affordably priced and come with a choice of soup and appetizer. I opted for the sweet and sour soup which was remarkably great. All the ingredients were fresh and the soup was perfectly balanced. There were a couple of extra ingredients in there or it was cooked just right - either way IC took an average dish an made it awesome. I opted for the chicken fingers and they were outstanding. No hint of fry oil or grease and I could taste the chicken. The cream de la cream was the eggplant. It was PERFECT in every way and there was plenty of it. Walk drive or drag your clamming boat- try it!

    Pad Thai - the sauce

Not only do you have to mix your own pad thai together, but they only give enough peanut sauce for 1/2 the order! really disappointed they can't even give you enough sauce for the whole order.

I recently tried Blue Fin around 3:30pm for a late lunch. It wasn't overly busy when we arrived,…read morebut it was definitely starting to pick up. The dining room has a nice vibe -- modern, clean, and comfortable. It feels like a good spot for a casual date or catching up with friends. That said, the noise level builds quickly. Everyone was chatting, and you could easily overhear conversations without even trying. Service was genuinely great. Our server checked in consistently for water refills, cleared plates quickly, and asked if we needed anything -- but never felt overbearing. That balance is appreciated and made the experience smoother. One thing worth noting: some menu prices are higher than you might expect, especially since Google lists the average around $20-$30 per person. For some of the higher-priced items, photos on the menu would really help set expectations. The portions do help justify the entrée pricing somewhat, but the overall bill -- $110 for a late lunch for two -- was honestly higher than expected. We started with the spicy edamame. To make it spicy was a $2 upcharge, which felt unnecessary -- most places offer regular, sea salt, or spicy at the base price. That rubbed me the wrong way. For sushi, we ordered two pieces of unagi and two pieces of wagyu. The fish/meat to rice ratio was generous (see picture). The unagi sushi is something a sushi chef can't really mess up -- solid and as expected. The wagyu sushi, however, had a very intense char on top and was extremely fatty. Depending on your preference, that could be a plus or a bit overpowering. The spicy beef rice bowl was a very large portion -- honestly enough to split between two people. The onions had a nice crunch and weren't soggy, which I appreciated. The beef is shaved rather than sliced, and you can't choose how it's cooked. The spice level was faint, should have spice level indicators on items like this. I did feel like the dish was missing another vegetable element that could have elevated it. The chicken curry bento box came with a lot: two tempura shrimp, two deep-fried pork gyoza, one sweet potato tempura, sticky rice, and the curry chicken. The chicken was very tender. The curry had that strong, classic curry aroma and was well balanced in flavor. Nothing to rave about. Both meals came with miso soup and salad. The salad dressing wasn't for me; I prefer something tangy, and this one tasted more like pan juices from cooked meat. For dessert, we tried the vanilla crepe cake. It honestly tasted like tiramisu. If they offered a matcha version, that might have set it apart more. I wouldn't order it again. Overall, I'm glad we tried it and had the experience. The service and portion sizes stood out positively. However, for the price point, it's not a "must-return" spot for me, and not somewhere I'd immediately recommend off the top of my head when people ask.

Staff were nice and I noticed that all the waitstaff worked together with different people checking in on us and delivering/clearing dishes. Started with fried shumai which was usual as it's most likely frozen and fried-nothing crazy. What we were most excited for was their sushi. The fish was insanely fresh that you could taste the difference. The rice bowl came with miso soup and the portion was large enough to easily feed two people. Glad we made the visit after hearing from several people how good their food is. We will be coming back!

We sat by the bar area with several televisions facing us. The noise level was average. To start with, their watermelon Mai Tai is a masterpiece--so delicious. They have a sushi roll special: when you buy two, you get one free. Very nice rolls. The highlight was the Chinese dishes. Their chicken with cashew nuts was flavorful and had fresh vegetables. Their sky pork fried rice was a work of art, including spare ribs. I would drive back to this place for this rice alone. Our server was very attentive and checked on us often. Then Steve stopped by and engaged us in conversation and made us feel like distinguished guests. He then asked us if we had tried their Japanese crab rangoon, and we said we hadn't. He responded that he was going to provide us a complimentary sample. It was a very unique dish, and we will be coming back for more. At the end of our meal, they also provided a warm towel. The food speaks for itself; it's fresh, delicious, and prepared in a way that feels like the animal was respected from start to finish. Our favorites were the Spanish mackerel, and the giant eye red snapper. Everything else was really good, but those two stood out as our favorites. You can also order the omakase à la carte, but best to give it some time to prepare because each piece is intricate. We look forward to trying if everything on the menu!

The staff interactions range based on who's waited on me and if there is a line but generally on the good side and always professional. The Food: Ok I'm pretty picky about the freshness of the ingredients (especially avocado) and not having too much rice on my sushi... Sea Lion has yet to fail me hence the 5 stars!
