So for our 56th anniversary we decided to go back and try the new Southwestern Queso. We decided to sit in the bar, as we like the high booths, and we were greeted immediately by our server. I asked for a "house" margarita and was told it is no longer available. Since it was our anniversary I opted for the more expensive Patron margarita, and it was the best margarita I've ever had in my 77 years. The tequila is smooth, and the Citrónge is addictive. No "mix" taste - just delicious. The new queso comes with salsa and chips, and we loved it and much prefer it over the former queso. It was milder, slightly spicy with a hint of lime. My husband enjoyed the chicken crispers, and I had the buffalo chicken ranch sandwich, which was messier than I remember but still good. Our server was outstanding - friendly, helpful, and attentive, plus she helped us use a coupon and get another discount to help with that expensive margarita. :D As a side note, we used to go to the original Chili's in Dallas back in the early 1980s, and we would to have to stand in line just to get in. No one knew who was taking care of our table. We finally placed our order and the food arrived at 11:53. The 12pm patrons started arriving. My son in laws order was wrong 3 times. So we didn't get to all eat together waiting on his correct order to arrive. We were apologized to profusely. The sweetest employee kept apologizing over and over.
