Slowwwwww service! Got here around 1 on a Saturday afternoon for what I thought would be a quick and good lunch based on the reviews. Service seems extremely disorganized..when you walk up, there's no hostess stand, nobody to address where to sit. It had been raining earlier so I'm not sure if they normally use more of the tables that are outside or not. When we walked in, most of the tables inside and outside were taken. There was a table inside that was available but the waitress told us that she could not sit us there since it was a table for 5 ppl and it was only 2 of us..seriously?! A table opened up and we sat..the bus boy was the best thing about this place! He was really cheerful & attentive. Everything this place lacks. We waited about 10/15 minutes before the waitress came over to take our order. It's just unacceptable service especially when it's not even a dinner service where the restaurant would be slammed. I like the fact that you can bring your own bottle of wine or beer to enjoy but honestly, I don't think the food was that spectacular to get over the awful service. There was what seemed to be a manager or owner walking around, not really doing anything to help out the fact that this place is extremely understaffed. Get in there and take some orders, bring out water, ask each table how everything is, help your sinking ship!!! He seemed useless honestly. Our waitress was nice, just overwhelmed. Would I come back? Probably not..what was supposed to be a quick lunch turned out to be a about a 2 hour ordeal! read more

The best pizza I have eaten in a long time!!! Highly recommended!! Dodgy location but the restaurant is beautiful inside and a gem. Everything about this place was amazing! We were told we'd wait 40 min for a table, but were sat down within 5. The place is very spacious, with the smell of wood fire lingering.. The owners walked around making sure everyone was taken care of.. And the food was out of this world! 10/10 would definitely recommend.. I don't understand why they don't hired white, black or latin people (who speak proper english, not only Italians) to be servers, the waiter who took the order bring me the wrong pizza and the wrong salad, the music is too loud and is the same music all over again, they don't have a proper playlist, hire a dj, also we have reservation and my family and I have to waited to be seated 25 minutes, even if the bring the wrong food the pizza and the salad was ok, the manager he don't respect our reservation and gave our table to other people, because of what??? I try to come to Ironside once a week all the way from South Miami! The staff is so wonderful and friendly. The food is out of control amazing. Both the regular pizza and gluten free are equally delicious. The carcioffi salad is another must try. Eating here is like a mini vacation to Italy, the food and staff are authentically Italian....and it is BYOB with no corkage fee! If you haven't tried it, you definitely must! read more

Ironside Pizza is the best pizza in the area no if ands or buts. I love pizza and I have hit almost every single place in wynwood and the surround neighborhoods. Came by here for some Saturday pizza. The place is very cool in terms of design and the development is nice too. The staff is all Italian and super friendly and attentive. The service was excellent. The issue is that the pizza although decent, wasn't that great. There was too much oil on the pizza, the pizza was watery, event the margarita. Unfortunately Ironside has completely deteriorated. This USED to be a place for great pizza and salad. The service, which was always average, has become bad even by Miami standards. Checked out this place for the first time on Friday night for dinner. The manager who was very welcoming warned us that even though he could seat us immediately the wait for food would be a long one. Given the nice ambience, perfect weather, and delicious pizzas coming out right in front of us we decided to be seated. So apparently they don't have a license to sell beer or wine so they just give it to you. This is really nice but I kind of wished I would have known this prior to getting there. I believe you can bring your own bottles with you. We decided to order an appetizer since we had been warned the pizzas would be awhile. Our platter of prosciutto and burrata cheese took about 30 minutes to get to the table. Which seems a bit ridiculous since the only cooked part of it is some focaccia (which was absolutely delicious by the way.) Finally our pizzas arrived!! My standard Margherita pizza was definitely good. My dining partner had the Diavola with gluten free crust and enjoyed it tremendously. Said it's probably the best gluten free pizza she's had. So all and all it was totally worth the wait and we will definitely be back since I was too full to try the Nutella pizza! read more
