Once the projected started, Stanley and his crew (Tim and Stan) arrived promptly and installed the new ducting system in a timely manner. They left the house in the same condition it was in before beginning the install. We passed the HERS testing and got city permitting done. Stanley took care of both for us. The new ducting install took a day or two to complete. We waited a few days for the HERS testing and city inspector. Stanley and crew came back two weeks later to install the boot covers once we finished adding new dry wall and paint. We initially called Irvine AC for my home and my husband highly recommended it so I called them for some HVAC and refrigeration issues from the shop I work at. This company is extremely professional, efficient and never tries to oversell. The previous company I used would only do half the job so they could get paid for another maintenance visit. This happened maybe 5 times and cost my shop over a $1500 for nothing. After calling their number, Mike was quick to get me a time for a visit and quote. From the outset, Irvine Air and Robert distinguished itself by its prompt responses and--quite frankly--just inserting the human element to this. (We've all been subject to the cut and paste responses from some of these companies that relay no substantive content at all.) They were also accommodating when it came to scheduling, right before the madness of the holidays no less, and offered a complimentary diagnostic to boot. The rest is history. Due to their friendliness, knowledge and expertise when it came to my HVAC system (my condo was built in the 90s so a lot of it is dated and different from more modern systems), I quickly chose them to proceed with my project. I had collected 3 other quotes, some of which were a tad cheaper, but to me, it was worth a little extra money to go with a trustworthy company that was really personable as well. Amazing team and got the job done in one day. We requested our air conditioning and heater to be repaired from the team since April. We had issues with the HOA with the repair but we finally got it scheduled in August. They were patient was the waiting and they even kept the price the same for the summer hours. I messaged them on Yelp at night after I discovered my AC was out after getting back from work. They said they could come around 10AM to 12PM the next day and I asked if they could come earlier as I had to go to work. They were accommodating and they said they could try for around 9-10 AM. Robert showed up at 9:30 AM, had his tools out, and isolated the problem and was done in an hour. He gave me some tips on how to clean the condenser, along with the air filter I was using, and said to give him a call-back when it is clean so he can optimally recharge my refrigerant. Decided to get my HVAC system checked as I was unsure if everything was running correctly. Robert checked the whole system and he showed me temps at the ac vents were running perfectly. He suggested replacing the return vents to lessen their noise. It's an option he noted, not necessary. When I asked for the bill, he said nothing because he didn't fix anything.
