That said, for someone doing this as a full-time profession, I would have expected more attention to detail, such as using screws that match the shelf color and ensuring there were no visible gaps between the shelf and the drywall.

I've been trying to get my led vanity mirror installed for months. Made contacts and set appts with many guys to come install but a bunch of no shows or cancellations. Made a quick request to Irvine hanging last night and woke up to a reply to come out and install this morning. Eric came out and got the job done at a very reasonable rate. My husband and I recently moved into a new condo and have needed to find a good handyman to help us with a few things. I was impressed with the reviews Eric had on Yelp. I must say, I am quite satisfied with the choice I made to go with Irvine Hanging. Eric was very prompt in responding to my request for a quote to install ceiling fans. He was able to come out within a few days. He provided quality work at a reasonable price. There were a few things that he was able to complete in one day so he scheduled a return visit a few days later. We are so grateful to have found Eric, he truly is a "handyman". Eric accomplished several task that neither my husband nor I have the skills to do. He not only installed 4 ceiling fans, he hung a curtain rod, installed a safety rail in our shower and repaired a broken cabinet door. Oh I almost forgot, he hung a picture and patched some holes. We plan on doing several more home renovation projects and Eric will certainly be our first choice when the time comes to have the work done. We just moved to a new construction house last week. Lots of things to hang. My regular handyman couldn't come over the weekend and I wanted few things to be hanged quickly. I found Eric on Yelp. He has excellent reviews so I called him. I told him what I needed and he gave me a price. He doesn't work by hour. I don't know but maybe he overcharged me? Maybe this was the Sunday charges? People here says he is fair price. Here is what he did: 3 tv mounts and secure to a wall 2 narrow tall bookshelves It took him 1 hour and he charged me $350! On top of that, the master bedroom tv was not centered and the bolts were not tight enough. His explanation for the tv not being centered: the tv bracket was not long enough to reach the 3rd stud to center the tv. Ok, understood. But why did he hang it off center without explanation first and ask if that was okay? he hanged it and left it like that without offering a solution. My regular handyman came on Monday and this is what he did: He hanged: 2 pin boards 1 white board 1 full wall mirror 1 coat rack 1 medal display rack 1 surf board 1 painting 2 belt racks 1 broom rack 1 dry laundry rack 1 fire extinguixer It took him 4 hours and he charged me $300 That one hour of work was the most expensive job I have been charged and it wasn't even done right for one TV mount. I won't call Eric again. read more

Eric responded right away and we set up a time. He put together and installed one of those dressers that come in a million pieces. It looks fantastic and fits perfectly. We were having a home repair day and he asked if there was anything else we needed. Thank goodness he was here because I had accidentally pulled the vent out of the dryer and had wash waiting. Absolutely fantastic service and workmanship. Had a quote over the phone with images sent over text which was difficult for us to explain given what we were hanging and where it would be hung (fairly high up 10-16"). Eric arrived and realized we hadn't described it as well as we could have and he needed a second person to help. He quickly facilitated this and was able to get our job done within hours, staying on deadline and was extremely friendly and knowledgable. Although my needs were basic, they seem knowledgeable in setting up full blown home theatre systems. They were responsive even though they were busy going from one job to the next. I guess when you're decent at your job a lot of folks hire you. I would use them again in the future.

He set up and made my Ubiquity network system perform at it's peak, when others installers have only installed the hardware and took off and left me with a poor performing network system. Really disappointed. Ricky simply does what others don't for you and he always goes beyond compared to others. Nobody that I have dealt with gets near the kind of service Ricky has provided me. I lost my home in the Eaton Canyon fire from 2025 and I'm in the process of rebuilding my house from scratch and I have hired Ricky and I'm super excited from the proposal he has provided me. We stopped by their showroom about three to four times to pick out the tile, countertop, cabinets, etc. and each time Tim was very accommodating and patient. He assisted but was not overbearing at all in terms of helping us choose what would look best and gave some great tips and points. Our master bathroom was more than just a facelift, we removed a closet, extended the bathroom, fixed a leak, moved some plumbing and electrical, etc. Each crew member we interacted with was extremely professional, did the work quickly and professionally, and Sam the foreman was helpful in answering all of our questions. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the end product. Tim and his entire team are very patient, communicative, and we will likely use EKB again when we get our other bathrooms and kitchen redone.

They also cleaned up another patch in the ceiling that a ceiling fan installer left looking like garbage. Best price I got for a full finished job and great communication and service through the whole experience. I recently had the pleasure of hiring Eric for a job to hang two LED backlit mirrors in my primary and secondary bathrooms, and I couldn't be more impressed with the quality of his work and his professionalism. What surprised me even more was his ability to schedule the job on the same day! Communication with Eric was seamless throughout the entire process. He informed me of time estimates for his arrival, ensuring a smooth and convenient experience. When he arrived, it was clear that he was well-prepared and ready to tackle the task. The mirrors I needed hung were relatively large- 56" x 36" and 59 lbs. each. Despite the challenge, Eric approached the job with confidence and expertise. Since the electricity was already run for the mirrors, he efficiently focused on hanging them. We had some miscommunication about scope and pricing but we ultimately came to an agreement on it. was expecting at least a couple people to show up but he came by himself...then he asked me to help lift the TV. definitely not what i was expecting. had no choice but to do it since i needed the TVs mounted...he left a few of the bolts unused and did the bare minimum to keep it up. but the worst part was that the TVs were actually not straight...tried to get him to redo it but it was useless. we ended up calling another company to redo it all. read more
