Croissant is Doughy inside. Not flaky. Not layery. Not buttery.

Doughy American Pastry I rarely review things, but this warrants one. Croissants are doughy and American. Not flaky. Not buttery, not layered. I've had enough good croissants from all over Europe to know this ain't it - not even close. At five dollars each, I expect better. Store presentation and ambience are nice.

I was a little underwhelmed. I feel like everything looked better than it tasted. I felt like things were on the drier, bland side. My friend talked all good things before that's why I wanted to try. I did get some other items I didn't take photos of. I might try to go again and try some other options. You should still try to get your own opinion!

Very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately not a lot for me to eat. Only baked goods way too sweet for me. Although they sell very nice multigrain baguette. I wish they would prepare sandwiches from it with veggies, salmon, eggs, Greek cheese, avocado.

Quaint little bakery, good decor and good pastries came here during our epic hot dog trek. just finished getting a pretty good dog from the local restaurant next to DQ, then we saw this bakery and decided to pop in. The vibe of this place is trying to go for an italian bakery, but some of their presentation is askew. The order here sign is very much surfer style, the front entry is somewhat deco, the displays are granoise but the coffee chalkboard is tucked away in the corner. The place is cute but a little disjointed. We get a smattering of their baked goods, I had the banana cronut and the eclair. The cronut was dense and tough, not a lot of banana flavor. needed to be microwaved to make it soft enough to eat. The eclair was sweet and the custard cream was very reminicent of a boston cream donut. The girlfriend tried the coconut macaroon, was very sweet but tasty. The elephant ear was a little tough and cumbly but otherwise a decent bite. The french macaroons were also very thick on the shell, but good flavor. It was a fun little stop, but nothing here was a very memorable bite. It was serviceable, which for some can be a good thing. Don't expect amazing, and you should be okay.

Absolutely amazing delicious pastries! The flourless cupcakes, Kinzer cookies & chocolate glazed donut is to die for. The rich chocolate is ever so decadent, luscious and delicious. The raspberry puree filling in the Kinzer cookies is fresh, bursting with the raspberry flavor.

I simply love this place! This is my second time visiting this place and I wanted to make sure the first time was not a hoax. True confession, I love bread!!!!, but because of dietary restrictions I've had to switch to wheat or multigrain breads. Until about two weeks ago I could not find any bread which really made me happy until I walked into this bakery. Their multi-grain baguette is truly outstanding!!!! Their baked goods are amazing according to my girlfriend. Unfortunately I cannot enjoy many baked goods but she loves their tarts. Whenever you walk into the bakery your senses are on overload, so many options! The store is really cute, with the so many options they have on display. They have a very small eat in area if you want to have your coffee and pastry. This week I also noticed they have a small chocolate candy area. This place gets better with every visit. Check it out!!

I stop by here pretty much weekly and always have a great experience. The freshly baked baguettes and croissants are absolutely fantastique! The flourless chocolate cakes are so rich, moist, and cholately! So many baked goods, pastries and more to choose from. Tastefully decorated. The store is always clean and service is fast-both which must be challenging with such a high voume of customers. I had to upgrade to 5 stars!

I've lived in the area for years, and always meant to check this spot out. The croissant donuts are very good. I have tried cronuts, (as they've been coined), at other spots and I just didn't think I liked them until I tried one here. The cheese danish are also delicious and quite big which will satisfy even the bigger appetites in the group. I have not tried the coffee, but I will when I return next weekend to try the quiche. They also have beautifully packaged chocolates which Is a great piece of information for everyone to have coming up on Valentine's Day next month maybe a

Isabelle et Vincent is a beautiful French bakery in Fairfield. They have a private parking lot. There is a huge selection of pastries! There's so much that it's hard to choose! Service was helpful.

I honestly can't think of when I've gotten something from Isabelle Et Vincent that I did not like. From the minute you walk into the place, the smells transport you to a Parisian café. The selection of pastries, breads, desserts, macaroons is abundant. And they all taste amazing. I've been known to devour an entire freshly baked baguette in one sitting. My favorite item here is the pain aux raisins. It is buttery, soft, and absolutely delicious. The chocolate and almond croissants are absolutely mouthwatering. I have also tried various savory quiches and the smoked chicken empanada-like thing, and they are all delicious. My daughter is a huge fan of the macaroons, and the croissant donut is a big hit. They also make a great cappuccino, coffee or espresso. And every time, without a doubt, the service is top notch. One of our favorite places to visit in town.

Every pastry is made with the utmost care and attention to detail, resulting in a symphony of flavors and textures that will leave you craving for more. During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying their chocolate chip scone, and it was an absolute delight. The scone was perfectly baked, with a tender crumb and just the right amount of sweetness. The chocolate chips were generously scattered throughout, adding bursts of rich, indulgent flavor. It was truly a treat to savor. In addition to the chocolate chip scone, I couldn't resist indulging in their cinnamon sugar croissant donut pastry. This heavenly creation seamlessly combined the buttery flakiness of a croissant with the irresistible sweetness of a donut. Each bite was a blissful experience, with the cinnamon sugar coating adding a delightful crunch and the layers of pastry melting in my mouth. The interior of Isabelle et Vincent is a visual treat in itself. The quaint and cozy setup of the sitting area invites you to relax and enjoy your pastries in a serene ambiance. In addition to the dedicated parking lot, there is also street parking available nearby. The surrounding streets offer plenty of parking spaces, providing an alternative for those who prefer parking on the street. There are a few steps up to get inside. Did not appear there was a ramp for a wheel chair to access but I am not completely sure as I did not ask.

Wow. So average and over priced. Supermarket quality croissants and pastry eclair cream taste more like pudding. Disappointing.

Good bread. Bring your wallet or retirement account - It's pretty pricey & there are better desserts out and about for less dinero.

The service is terrible it's awful, whoever the man is attending has such a dreadful attitude it makes the whole atmosphere seem tense. I feel bad for the clients, this man makes you not want to shop here. To the owners I hope you hire someone new this man needs to learn to be respectful and quit having the attitude of a teenage girl. If you're tired of working here just quit, you don't need to take it out on your patrons. If you don't care about customer service in the slightest you should definitely come for the bread. Sometimes the heat is unbearable, I couldn't stand more than 2 minutes because I was physically unable to breathe. Anyways don't make questions, don't make talk, just remember the fat man attending the customers is ignorant and pompous with the attitude of a teenage girl seriously.

Kinda surprised no one has blessed this spot with a review yet!…read more I used to be up in here all the time, mainly for their Guava pastries. In fact, its one of the spots ive missed the most since the move out West. Family owned and operated by some good, friendly, hard workin peoples. People that take pride in, not only the product they put out, but how the customer is treated when they are in their establishment. Affordable, superb quality Mexican baked goods, baked on site; FRESH! Extremely fair prices on everything! I tried the coffee for the first time yesterday and it was surprisingly great! Grabbed some Piedras, a Concha, a Sweet Rice Pastry, and a few other things---but NO Guava pastries?!!?!! Damn! Bottom line, this is a definite 5 star spot, both for quality and service, but i was let down by them not offering that Guava until the winter time. I might give em a call, see if they can make me a half dozen to bring back West with me. Mexican bakeries in SD are a dime a dozen, but NONE of them have the official quality that H&H in BPT does. Check em out today!
