This business is new. (iSalon - Full Service Hair Salon) I think maybe 3-4 months old. Last time I got a haircut, it cost me $16 and that's for your basic #2 cut which takes about 2-3 minutes for an experienced barber. This place was advertising haircuts for $8 and also right next to a Starbucks at Sylvan Corner. Haircut was well done and I have a %20 tip for the guy who did it. Didn't see anyone else in the place, but it is clean and looks like they just need to build up a customer base. Wish them well. Oh---looks like they do hair and nails. Horrible service, and even worst cut. When I called to asked if I have to make an appointment. They say yes, so we made an 11:00 appointment. Arrive at 10:50, didn't get my hair cut until 11:20 but they cut someone else hair before me which didn't an appointment , but came in after me because they were their usual. What's the point of making an appointment , if they don't honor it.Then the old guy ask me who was next. I said I was. I was very skeptical about him knowing how to cut female hair. He said he did. This place is amazing! A little on the pricy side if you're used to a $17 fill special, but it's SO WORTH IT! I went in very upset because I had my nails done a week prior and they lifted horribly after A WEEK! It was a cheap job by that salon, and I was very disappointed. So I went into iSalon and they fixed my nails and squeezed me in without any delay at all! I got a fill for $23 and was so impressed that I let them have a $7 tip! Nice fast haircuts. But men's haircut person uses soiled tool bin tools every time. They also use same ragged laying around to clean head after the cut too. read more

Brenda the owner cut my hair for the first time and I absolutely love it!! She was so nice, and thorough, and did exactly what I asked for. I have very long blonde hair, and was worried about cutting the length off, but she did a perfect trim and it looks so healthy! I would highly recommend her! This salon is close to my parents house and that's how I discovered it. Their haircut is advertised as $8 & up and that's very eye catching in this economy. I stopped in to see if they had time for a quick trim, and a man name Chris did my hair. He was great because he didn't take off too much of my hair like most hairstylists do. I told him 1.5 inches off and that's exactly how much he took off. Overall, the staff was friendly, prices were affordable, and I got what I wanted so I'll definitely be back! read more

I wish I could give it NO STARS. My mother went in for a hair cut which she doesn't do very often, and a man approached her to ask what it was she wanted. She had brought in a picture of exactly what she was looking for. The man got my mom ready for her hair cut and he stunk of cigarettes so bad my mom felt nauseous. He then proceeded to cut my moms hair to by no mean what she wanted and she had a PICTURE. So my mother went home and cut it to the best of her ability how she wanted it. My mom told me about her experience so I called ISalon and spoke with a manager, she told me to bring my mom in for her next hair cut and it would be free. Tried to call them and set up an appointment and asked for the manager the lady in the phone said she wasn't in, I asked if she knew when she would be in she replied with NO. I explained to her what had happened and she hung up on me. Very rude and unprofessional. read more
