We were on the hunt for a good breakfast spot in Islamorada, but before we could eat, my boyfriend had to make a quick stop at Bass Pro Shops to pick up some fishing gear. That's when I noticed a sign saying they served breakfast so i figured we'd check out the menu and wow, I am SO glad we stayed! The breakfast here is phenomenal and such a bang for your buck. The portions are generous, the quality is amazing, and everything was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Crabby Hash which was two perfectly crispy crab cakes topped with onions, peppers, smoked gouda cheese, creamy lobster sauce, and two eggs any style, served with crispy, golden hash browns. It also came with a choice of toast, pancake, or biscuit. I went with the pancake, and it was so fluffy and delicious it could have been a dessert. My boyfriend went with the Country Fried Chicken which was lightly breaded chicken breast smothered in sausage gravy and those same perfect hash browns. He loved every bite. We came here by chance, but now it's a definite must stop for us. If you're in Islamorada, don't overlook this place for breakfast it's right on the water too with a great view too. We saw some tarpons, Jelly fish and even a manatee swim by

They had ocean views and a man playing music. The food was just okay, though. We tried the wahoo wrap and mahi tacos. The mahi mahi was overcooked and something else on the tacos had a competing taste that didn't mesh well. The wrap was good. This is a mega restaurant and they have service designed to rotate a large number of people in and out, and it shows. I don't even mean that in a bad way.

Great food and ambience! Ellie was amazing and went above and beyond. Made up for the hostess not even acknowledging our existence when she seated us!

The ambiance is second to none. The water views were outstanding. Lots of beach and tiki hut seating with water views wait staff were fast and friendly. The food was very good. Fish and chips, crab cake sandwiches were yummy. Plenty of parking. Would recommend to everyone.

Located by the original Bass Pro Shop, plenty of parking and an amazing atmosphere. Sitting outside, you can see the large tarpon fish in the water. There was some live music there. We only stopped in for a quick bite, ordering the Wahoo Dip, the Alligator bites and the Coconut Shrimp. Our server was friendly and attentive. The Alligator bites was seasoned well and the batter was perfect. With some tobasco sauce, lemon and spicy ranch, it was very good. We did eat it with some of the Wahoo dip and I thought it was a good pairing. We loved the Wahoo Dip, it was nice and refreshing and our server offered us some more crackers to go with it. The coconut shrimp was also delicious, especially their sweet & spicy sauce. Would have loved to be able to try the rest of their menu. Definitely recommend!

It is a must-visit for the view, but I was not impressed with the food or the service when I visited. I will be back and hope to have a better experience with those.

Beautiful outdoor dining. If you're looking for the best sunset view for dinner and cocktails this is your place. Easy parking. If it's chilly out they have heaters which keep you very warm. The Pina Colada was delicious. We had raw oysters to start. They had excellent salty fresh taste. Large Stone Crab claws. Seafood pasta. The view created a beautiful ambiance while you ate in the relaxed beautiful Keys.

Had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Islamorada Fish Co with our server, Riley! He was very informative about the menu and suggested we order the dinner special featuring a fully fried yellowtail with rice and vegetables. We also had a half shell of oysters (on the sweeter side) and a crab cake to start with a bottle of white wine for the table. It was our first time eating this type of fish (and prepared as well) like this and certainly won't be our last. This is also a great location to watch the sun go down and take pictures with friends and family.

    Their breakfast menu

Their breakfast is the best in the Keys! I used to go to LoraLei, but since they raised their prices and the quality stayed the same, I chose Islamorada Fish Company hands down. The service, quality and quantity are unbeatable. Beautiful Tiki atmosphere right on the bay. You need to try it!

We enjoyed the food, drinks, and laid back acoustic music playing live in the nearby tiki hut.

I ordered The Turtle Breakfast with eggs over easy, added an extra egg, sausage, and bacon, and swapped the toast for a side of biscuits and gravy. Everything was cooked perfectly. The bacon was thick-cut, salty goodness, the sausage was packed with flavor, and the biscuits were light and fluffy. The sausage gravy was some of the best I've had, rich, hearty, and loaded with flavorful sausage. Whether you're staying in Islamorada or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by Green Turtle Inn for breakfast. It's a great way to start the day in the Keys.

This was our third time giving this restaurant a chance, and unfortunately, nothing has changed. We were seated, received our coffee right away, and then no one checked on us for about 25 minutes, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. What made the experience even more disappointing was watching every other table receive attentive service, water, and condiments without asking. We were the only Hispanic guests, and the difference in treatment was hard to ignore. Whether intentional or not, it left us feeling unwelcome. From the hostess to the servers, the staff was rude and unwelcoming. There are much better restaurants in the area where guests are treated with respect. We won't be recommending Green Turtle Inn or returning.

We then moved upstairs and grabbed seats at the bar. We ordered the peel and eat shrimp, calamari, and conch fritters. Everything was perfect and came out quickly despite the whole place buzzing. After two more mojitos, we moved to our table upstairs on the balcony. The views were amazing, and the live music on the beach made the whole experience even better. My wife ordered her go-to yellowtail "Lazy Way," which is a must. I had the stuffed whole yellowtail. Everything was excellent, and the portions were abundant. Everything had either too much mayonnaise or too much sauce or was overcooked. It was like they're too worried about the quality of the ingredients or the food to let it stand on its own. This could also be as a result of the cooking of the region. It would've been great to have something light and fresh. I did order a Caesar salad salad, and the dressing tasted like somebody edited ranch dressing. There was no anchovy flavor. The servers are nice, the prices aren't bad, and there is plenty of parking if you don't go on the weekend. The view is nice as well. Other than that, I really don't know if I would eat here again.

A special thank you to our concierge, Anne, who was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to recommend family-friendly activities both at the lodge and around Islamorada, and her recommendations made our trip even more memorable. One of the best things about Cheeca Lodge is that there's truly something for everyone. We loved that we could paddleboard, kayak, ride bikes, fish off the iconic pier, relax by one of the three beautiful oceanfront pools, or simply enjoy the incredible views. There's even complimentary golf, which we didn't have time to take advantage of this trip. Our lagoon-view room was beautiful, peaceful, and impeccably maintained. The entire property is stunning, secure with gated entry, and offers complimentary parking throughout your stay. We also had an amazing experience at Mia Cucina, the Italian restaurant on site. The food was excellent, but what really stood out was the staff. The chefs were so kind and welcoming to our kids, making dinner feel extra special. The complimentary 24-hour shuttle was another huge plus, making it easy to explore the area without worrying about driving. There's also a 24-hour convenience store right across the street, which came in handy more than once. Islamorada ended up being the perfect destination for our family. It has such a relaxed, laid-back feel while still offering plenty to do. If you're looking for a luxury resort where you can truly unwind, spend quality time with family, and enjoy exceptional hospitality, Cheeca Lodge is it. Thank you to Anne and the entire Cheeca Lodge team for an unforgettable stay. We can't wait to return!
