This place is all about the views! Great water views from outside and the bar. They also feature live music. I ordered the fish sandwich- blackened grouper with a baked potato. It was very flavorful and yummy. They have a full bar- beer & liquor. The margarita was awesome! Our service was very slow; that's my only complaint. Fun vibe, broad menu, water views!

We stopped here twice on our trip for the key lime drink it was so good!! Also got the conch fritters that were yummy! Great location on the water. Can access by boat or by car!

Amazing food, amazing service, and a fantastic view. Get there early so you can get a spot on the beach.

Eat inside,on deck or on beach great view of sunset and great vibe with just the right volume music. Drinks especially key lime colada are excellent. The food is darn good as well. We had the alaskan crab legs and the filet mignon entrees, both were delicious and we polished them both off. 4 drinks and two entrees for under $120 coupled with impeccable and caring service. If your in the area of Islamorada dont miss the waterside establishment!!!

Perfect for a beautiful sunset! Took lots a pics. It's perfectly located... their drink menu is limited... and the lobster Mac n cheese that I had was plentiful but the lobster was over done! Service was good... D had the shrimp po boy and it was good.

    Sunset oysters so delicious!!!

Who knew that this places serves up some of the best burgers in the keys. On top of the best stone crab chowder. And the best fish sandwiches . Our server gave service with a smile. Ambiance is the best place for sunset dinner in islamorada . We will return!!!!

What a fun place to go to!! Great ambiance, beautiful sunsets, great food, great service, great outdoor seating, live music, and waterfront dining! What more could you ask for? Oh yea, and their prices aren't sky high! My new favorite resturaunt to go to in the Keys. Our server was Shaggy, who took good care of us all evening! He has worked there for 20+ years, knows his stuff, and has a good sense of humor. I ordered the Filet Mignon Sliders with fries. Yummy! The best sliders I have ever had. Perfectly made to my expectations. My daughter ordered the Double Shrimp Quesadillas and loved them. The food was hot and brought to our table immediately. Really good service. I had a Classic Margarita and she had a Casamigos Margarita. Both were made perfectly. We had a great time here! Thank you, Shaggy, for your attentiveness! The Lorelei has a huge parking lot with wheelchair accessability. They are also dog friendly (leashes on). They do not accept reservations so be ready to wait for up to 40 minutes depending on the time of day or evening. There are some seats available to sit and wait but not many. We waited about 25 minutes. You are given one of those buzzing timers that let you know you are being called. The wait was worth it! Almost every seat has a view of the sunset.

Such a great place! Good vibes, can't get better than sitting by the water with live music. Amy was great and food was good! The frozen key lime was amazing!!

Fun waterfront restaurant to break your trip on way to Key West. Primarily seafood casual fare. We had delicious lobster sliders and shrimp poorboy sandwiches and was very happy with amount of seafood and size of shrimp. Shared the 2 kinds of key line pie and was torn between the traditional and the mouse both were delicious. Service was fantastic with them refilling are glasses without asking . Loved the mermaid decor

We came Monday afternoon for lunch. It was raining and freezing so we had to sit close to the bar area. It was pack! The restaurant has beautiful views! We ordered the stone crab chowder, blackened mahi mahi tacos with two sides of French fries. All the food was delicious. The chowder and the mahi mahi tasted so fresh and the French fries were outstanding. Service was good too, specially of how crowded the place was. Overall a great experience and definitely coming back!

Suppose I should have just looked at the reviews and gone elsewhere cause this was objectively bad. But it was recommended by a friend, so we gave it a go. As you can see from my other reviews, two star reviews are few and far between so I'm no hater but do want to share my opinions when you feel less than pleased with spending almost $70 on something awful. I will also say, I'm not from a coastal place so maybe this just how it is but: While nice, the servers all looked as if they had just rolled out of bed with mesy hair, sandals, yoga pants and hoodies. I dont expect white gloves but this is still a place of work and people should look presentable. They allow smoking on the dock/covered dining area and for me this is just a non negotiable. It's not 1980 and people should be allowed to enjoy their food sans smoke. However, the smoke wasn't the only problem with being able to enjoy our food as the food itself was bad. We ordered the lobster sliders and shrimp po boy. The shrimp po boy was sooo heavily buttered it had zero flavor otherwise and a butter-soaked bun. My sliders had a "jam" that was a crystallized paste with grit and stick. Not kidding, felt like eating sweet sand spread onto a poorly prepared slider with little toppings. Not only were the textures and flavors bad, we spent almost 70 dollars on one diet coke, water and two terrible entrees. Genuinely terrible experience and wouldn't recommend you stop here for food. The drinks may be okay if you're okay with plastic solo cups and pre made sugary mixes. (Didn't have one, just didn't order one cause they looked bad).

Looking out on the bay with a classic margarita and fish dip.

To me, there's nothing better than food with a view. Loreleis doesn't disappoint in this area. We sat right up on the bay to watch the sunset, which, if you haven't experienced one in FL- DO IT IMMEDIATELY!!! I love the live music too, just sets the vibe for relaxing and enjoying the night. We had Will tonight and he was great. Attentive without being overbearing. That's my favorite type of service. HOWEVER- the food was just okay. The tuna was very pale. I asked if there were sesame seeds on the tuna nachos (I have diverticulosis) and because I didn't specify making sure there were NO seeds, the tuna nachos came out with seaweed salad that obviously had seeds everywhere. I scraped off the seaweed salad but honestly, only had one nacho bc the work wasn't worth it. The fish dip was just, meh. Light smoke, a little bland unless there was a caper and jalapeño on every bite, but there were more than enough crackers which I appreciated. We brought our mahi mahi and that was done well. Blackened with sweet potatoes fries. That was the best part of dinner- the fries. I also got a margarita which again, just okay. We've come here before and I thought the experience then was lacking food wise bc I had just gotten off a boat where I was seasick for 3 hours. We gave it another go and as much as I want to love this place, I don't think we'll ever come back.

    key lime coladas
    Zoe W.

Very disappointed as I had high hopes for Loreleis! We seated ourself and were very pleased with the live music and view. Service was slow, but it was a busy night so we expected it. We both ordered the fish tacos, but were quite disappointed with the flavor. My boyfriend got the fried snapper tacos and I got the grilled grouper tacos. He liked his more than mine, but the flavor was definitely lacking in my opinion. We both ordered the key lime coladas which I had seen a lot great reviews about. It was delicious, but we were shocked when we got our bill and the drinks were said to be $15 instead of the $12 that the menu said. After we brought it up the waitress Nicole, she explained that there was a "floater" added to our drinks. We nicely explained that we ordered the drinks as they were and didn't ask for extra shots to be added to them. She joked around that it was only an extra few dollars. More than anything to us it was the principle of the matter. I'm not sure if it was management that was giving our waitress a hard time or what, but our bill was never changed. She brought it back to us and said, "I really hope this is ok, sorry about that". Since it was packed and we were just trying to get out of there at that point we just paid the bill as it was. Customers should never be overcharged like that, especially when they didn't order it that way. We likely won't be back because of this.

Are there fans to keep cool?

Yes and a nice breeze coming off the water

    Open Christmas Day?

    Yes..until 8 pm

Is your restaurant a dock and dine? Do you have docking for boats? If so, Is there a fee to dock the boat if eating at the restaurant? Do I need reservations for the boat and restaurant?

There is a spot for small boats and dinghies. No charge. Tie up bow in (like a dinghy) NOT across hull to. That is the customary way it is done there. Others will be upset… Read more

Do you take reservations for outdoor seats? If not, what time do you suggest we arrive to dine and see the sunset?

They don't. Get there 1.5 hrs early

Is the outside patio dog friendly?

Well behaved dogs on a short leash are welcomed anywhere on the property. Dogs cannot sit on a chair, barstool, or owners laps, due to health department code.

What time is happy hour? And what time does the live music start?

    Happy hour starts at 1630.

I'm looking to do a welcome party for my wedding. It's in March. Probably about 50 people. Do they accommodate that?

Yes. Definitely. Sunset is beautiful there

This place looks great! There are a lot of comments about getting there early to get a table for food and to catch the sunset. What time does is it start to get crowded? I'm wondering if 4:30 is too late?

Agreed depends on when the sunsets and how much you want to see. I would error on the earlier side maybe 1-1.5 hrs ahead to make sure you settle in. Less seating on the deck than the sand so if you want the deck be a little earlier.

My little guy devoured his pancake breakfast. The kids pancake was huge and came with bacon, his favorite. My husband got the slam and enjoyed it, especially the French toast. Our server was Lexy. She was so friendly and accommodating to our little one. He was so happy the entire meal, which doesn't always happen with a toddler. I'd recommend trying this spot next time you're in the Islamorada area. For a comforting meal, with a local vibe, it is a spot not to miss.

Corned Beef Hash/Fried eggs and hash browns. Very good plate for what it is. Coffee was also hot and good. Our server was pleasant, professional and was always smiling. Unfortunately, she nor anyone offered us refills on our coffee-VERY LAME for a breakfast place. OK, now my 2 COMPLAINTS besides not being offered more coffee; 1) There was an added $1.85 "Carry Out Fee". We did NOT order our food to go, we ate there. I'm sure that they ALWAYS add that fee to all the checks and hope that it doesn't get noticed! 2) They have a tipping guide at the bottom of the check that recommends different gratuities based on THE AFTER TAX AMOUNT! That's FBS! Tipping is based upon the food & drink ONLY, and should NOT be calculated including the tax! That's 2 ethical practices that they do to take advantage of their customers. Shame on them!! To start, I think this place has ample room for improvement and actually has a lot of potential…read more I'll say the ambiance is great! The views were really nice, I mean you can't go wrong with ocean front. The decor, very nice and unique with the painted pillars. So they have that. Service was lacking. I think the waitress was maybe new? But forgot our straws when requested. So I would recommend new servers to remind themselves to write things down if they are working on remembering. Or bring it before conquering another task. It was not a busy day, very empty restaurant; maybe 4 tables at most. The food came out at a decent time, not too slow or quick. Now for the flavor: we ordered the pupusa with the pork carnitas and the nachos with the carne asada I placed my expectations and standards low. This is a menu with a lot of different plates from different countries, which can be good or bad. In this case bad. Trying to put a lot of different cultures of food in one menu is very challenging if you cannot master any of them. It may be best to stick with one culture and master it first with better quality meat and ingredients. The pupusa was dry. We ordered it with the carnitas which came on top. Fine. You can do that I guess, but that's not a pupusa. That's a corn tortilla/patty with meat on top. The meat tasted stale and bland, and all of it was dry. The creamy sauce on top was sweet... it didn't mesh well at all. I think you need to rename the dishes because calling it a pupusa is not accurate. This was a corn patty that was thick and dry. There wasn't even any cheese in it. Nothing in it at all. So rename the dish, buy better meat and ensure it's flavorful, or make the actual dish correctly. Ask an El Salvadoran chef/cook to teach your crew how to make a pupusa. It's not very challenging if you make it correctly and one of the most delicious cuisines. Now the nachos: the sauce they put on top was sweet. Again with the sweetness, it was very odd. The chips were fine, a bit salty and they are store bought or purchased through a merchandiser. This warrants a price reduction if you are going to charge $15 dollars for nachos without meat. I had them add the carne asada so that totaled to $27. Insanity to call it carne asada, also. It was at best a steak from the worst part of the cow. It was cooked as if it was boiled and had no flavor. Carne asada is grilled, and has grill marks, and marinated. This looks like clumped up ground beef shaped into a small sliced piece of steak/strip. It was a loaded nacho dish, which had cheese, pico, and another creamy beige looking sauce and all you could taste was sweetness and stale food. I'm writing this review in hopes that the restaurant will improve by starting with purchasing better quality meat and investing in teaching their cooks or hiring cooks that are able to authentically marinate and properly cook the food that is being advertised on the menu. The menu looks like it will all taste good, but it is deceiving. All in all, if you're going to make a fusion-style restaurant, maybe just pick one or two Hispanic cultures or types of Latin American/Caribbean foods and perfect them. I saw various different styles of dishes and cuisines on the menu from at least three or four different countries. The pupusa is not a pupusa so I think that should be renamed, frankly. We did not get any Cuban dishes so I cannot comment on those dishes. The flavor and service is severely lacking. The two stars are for the decor and location/ambiance.
