Great cocktail, too bad I forgot the name of it
Kaliko P.

"My Name Is Richard (And I Am Awesome)" - The Very Very Awesome Song Band What made this review a 5-star (hey, coz it's AIRPORT food) was our server/bartender/busser Richard. He was slammed as he was the only person working that day. He had to take orders, make the drinks, put in the food order, clean the tables, wash the glasses but still managed to be as cool as cucumber, with a great sense of humor about the whole thing. Most people's heads would explode with that kind of stress, but he still managed to make a perfect cocktail and get us our pizzas on a timely basis. PIZZAS: Sun-dried Tomato Margherita with balsamic vinegar was pretty tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't know why people keep complaining about it not being fresh, but rather microwaved. People's expectations for airport food is way over the top. $10.00, and it beats the price of an airport sandwich! My husband got the Pepperoni Pizza $11.00 and he liked his. COCKTAIL/BEER: I don't know the prices of these as my husband grabbed the tab. I don't remember the name of the awesome cocktail that Richard made, but for an airport drink, had more booze in it than at our local restaurant we frequent. It was tasty and yummy. I think it had pineapple, coconut and rum - a Pina Colada? Not sure, just get it! Located at the Honolulu International Airport Gate G (we were on United). If I end up in Gate G again, I will be sure to stop by again. Hopefully Richard will be there.

Located in the airport, this was the closest restaurant near our gate. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and Bud Light, hubs had the Super cheese pizza with a Ling Island. My pizza was burnt, but didn't complain. The prices are like any place in the airport, pricey, but who cares? It'll be your last chance to eat something decent while being in the air for 5 plus hours!

I hate airport food, but I didn't have much of a choice. This was way more decent than burger king so we ended up here. It's expensive for 4 mini slices $10-$11 depending on the toppings, but again, what choices did I have?! Next time, I will either eat before getting here, or eat at the front of the airport, as gate G(southwest), does not have anything else. Pizza took 20 minutes to come out. As you can see, my ham was burnt. My pineapples looked wiry, which I can't even describe that. It just wasn't pleasant. The bbq chicken was wayyyyy better. The pepperoni had salami in it too, so that was interesting. The pizza killed time, so I didn't mind, before our 6 hour flight.

great selection.

I had plenty of time before my flight and stopped in. The pizza (pepperoni) was really good. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The beer was good and cold too. Service as geat.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good these pizzas were. The BBQ sauce had really good flavor. The basil mixed in the the pizza gave it an additional flavor I was not expecting and was a pleasant surprise. Definitely a great choice while waiting on a flight. Pizzas came out super fast.

Luckily, this Pizza Hut was near our gate where we boarded our flight from Honolulu to San Francisco for a 5 hour flight. We only had 15 minutes before boarding to look for food. We bought a mini cheese pizza here, which cost only about $6 (surprisingly affordable for an airport restaurant) and took 6 minutes to cook. My extremely PICKY son dug into that pizza as soon as we boarded the plane and ate the entire pie very happily. They were friendly, efficient, and the pizza passed the picky 4-year-old taste test. Thumbs up from a satisfied mom.

Bartender Dennis is amazing! If you buy an alcoholic drink, an additional shot is $5 and you can share. "If you're going to be a bear, be a grizzly"- bartender Dennis

For airport food, this has got to be as good as it gets. Cold beer, hot tasty pizza, really exceptional stuff. My bartender Sonny was a dream, super nice and attentive. Starting my Hawaii trip on the right foot!

Last stop at Honolulu Airport for island brew. A toss up between Castaway IPA or Fire Rock, either one it'll send you off missing the laid back feel of the island. The Hawaii music reggae between soft rock (Flower Grown Wild by Bryan Adams care of Sound Hound) sounding clearly right above my head aloud the speakers ( wonder if it's Bose or JBL)...ah do I have to leave?! My feet wearing my still with sand flip flops tapping to the rhythm, my mind reminiscing the times at the beach, the laughs at bars, new and old friends, and memories made. And the times I thought of nothing but felt the warm sun on my skin and the aloha of the island. I giggle silently and let out a big smile, bite my lip, and think "Damn it was good times". Flight #44 overhead interrupts and it's back to reality....then again, it was reality. It's just reality I need to make happen again and again. Thank you Island Brew. Aloha.

Polynesian Paralysis (left) - Awful. Bitter and tart. Bottoms Up (right) - a bit too sweet and couldn't tell if there was alcohol in it.
Thuy T.

Don't do it. Keep walking to the next bar, whichever it is. We ordered two drinks, the Polynesian Paralysis and the Bottoms Up. The bottoms up was fine, a little on the sweet side and a pretty small portion, but drinkable. The paralysis was awful! Nothing like the picture and overly tart. We were shocked when the bill was $36! Definitely not worth it. Go to the next bar and stick with local beers.

Their pizza is just a simple pan pizza. Nothing to write home about.

Not much here in the G Concourse (Southwest Air) except $10 mini pizzas, beer, and $4 sodas. Made 2 stars for a soda free refill.

Nothing like eating huge sandwiches and the best pizza around! Our office orders takeout frequently from little g's and we absolutely love it here! We usually have place our order a few days in advance to secure our order for the day we want. They do run out fast so it is safer to place the order in advance too. You can order online but after a certain amount it requires you to phone in your order. I didn't grab a picture of everyone's food but this was the two sandwiches I got! The chicken parm is incredible stacked with 3-4 pieces of chicken parm and their red sauce with mozzarella served hot. The Italian has three different meat with cheese and lettuce and bell peppers served cold. These were served with a different grained bread which was a lil different than what we are used to but still really great! Service here is always great and food is always mind blowing with their large portions and fresh ingredients!

After looking over the menu options, we stood waiting for quite a while before anyone acknowledged us or took our order. The manager seemed rude and unwelcoming, which immediately set a negative tone for the visit. Looking back we should have trusted our first impression, but we decided to give it a chance and see what the hype was about. We each ordered a slice of pizza and took it outside to eat. After eating , we walked past the glass wall of the cafe and I noticed the manager handling and mixing flour with his bare hands, with the flour mixture covering his hands and forearms. I didn't expect to see food prep without disposable gloves and it made me uncomfortable. The pizza itself didn't make up for the experience. At around $22 per slice, I was expecting something exceptional or life-changing, instead, it was pretty underwhelming. The flavor, texture, and overall quality just didn't justify the premium price. Between the unfriendly service, concerns about food handling, and the disappointing pizza, I don't feel the experience was worth the cost of overpriced slices of pizza and I will not be returning nor will I recommend Little G Cafe to others. There are plenty of other pizza spots in Honolulu, including Boston's Pizza, that offer better value and a much more welcoming atmosphere.

Love at First Bite!…read more Why Pizza Mamo is a Solid 10/10: The Taste: The honey-pesto synergy on that Honey Creeper is the flavor profile I didn't know my life was missing. Absolute culinary wizardry. The Mission: Huge props to Pizza Mamo for partnering with the Save a Bite app to cut down on food waste! If you haven't heard of it, restaurants use it to list their surplus end-of-day food at a massive discount instead of tossing it. Saving money and the environment? Say less. Sustainable carbs just taste better...it's science. The Vibe: The waitress was incredibly sweet, and the sit-down space is so cute. The Verdict I love a good boujee on a budget meal, but even if there's no mystery boxes available on Save a Bite, Pizza Mamo is totally a place I would order in, sit down, soak up the vibes and snag a slice or 3 from...which we definitely will be doing in the future. Thanks, Pizza Mamo.

Great place to get pizza and cannoli!…read more My boyfriend and I decided to stop by one Saturday night and was pleasantly satisfied with what we ordered. We got there before 8pm and they were sold out on a lot of the items, but still liked what we got! We ordered the Brooklyn Pizza (perfect for two!), which was made with fresh ingredients and was made to order. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate chip cannoli which has the right amount of sweetness and texture, a perfect ending to our meal. They have outdoor and indoor seating, and the service was warm and pleasant. I love the vibe on both areas, and we could see the wood-fire oven even in the indoor seat that we got. Good to know too that they're a vegan pizzeria, we'll definitely come back to try more of their pizza and salads. Our kids loved both pizzas, and there wasn't a slice left by the end of dinner. After a long day in the sun, it was the perfect meal to bring home and share together. We'll definitely be ordering again.

We started with a couple of cocktails that were beautifully crafted and well-balanced. The salad was fresh and crisp, and the meatballs were incredibly tender, served in a rich, flavorful tomato sauce alongside warm focaccia bread that was perfect for soaking up every last bit of sauce. The standout of the evening was the specialty pizza topped with creamy mozzarella, pancetta, and pea purée. The wood-fired crust had the perfect balance of crispy and chewy, and the flavors came together beautifully. The squeeze of lemon added a bright, unexpected touch that elevated the entire pizza. We also shared the mushroom rigatoni, which was rich, creamy, and packed with savory mushroom flavor. It was comforting without being overly heavy and paired perfectly with the rest of the meal. For dessert, we enjoyed ice cream topped with Nutella, olive oil, and sea salt. It may sound simple, but the combination was incredible. The creamy ice cream, rich chocolate-hazelnut spread, subtle saltiness, and fruity olive oil created the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. About 10 minutes before my 2:00 PM pickup time, I received a text letting me know my order was ready, which was a nice surprise. I ordered the IL Parma sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. At $24, it's definitely on the expensive side for a sandwich, but the quality of the ingredients and the freshness made it worth every penny. Aroma Italia - Monserrat | Waikiki-Kapahulu-Diamond Head area - Island of Oahu…read more Onolicious! Lately I've been dining on soups like pho and ramen, lamb curry stews, and snacking on real fruit smoothies, and I felt like I needed a change of pace. However, I didn't realize I had this burning desire until I saw the foodie pics here on Yelp. It was then that I seriously wondered how I could inject a little more variety into my foodie repertoire. I saw this restaurant listed on Yelp and immediately thought, Ooh, what about Italian??? :D Myself replied: Mmm, that sounds tantalizing, Jules Y.! :D After perusing the menu to make sure I wasn't gonna miss out on a thing, it only took a few seconds for me to hone in on the two items I ultimately ordered: * 16" Florentine pizza (gigante) * Gnocchi Gorgonzola with added mushrooms I added mushrooms to the gnocchi dish, which was a fantastic decision I would not want to go without on future dines of this dish. The pizza was a thin crust topped with luscious mozzarella, rough-chopped garlic, spinach, and ricotta cheese. The gnocchi contained chicken chunks, potato gnocchi, luscious cream sauce, and the mushrooms I added. The Florentine immediately caught my eye. I'm particular about not eating sausage, pepperoni, and other typical pizza meats, so this cheese-and-spinach combination was exactly what I was looking for. I expected something around a medium-sized pizza, but what arrived was this unexpectedly large pie sitting inside a huge, flat pizza box. It seemed enormous! The crust was thin with a nicely fire-charred edge, while the center was packed with luscious cheesy goodness. Random dollops of ricotta, spinach leaves, and these entirely unexpected little chunks of fresh, soft, juicy garlic created little flavor explosions throughout every bite. It made eating the pizza fun because each slice was a little different. Although I thought I was hungry enough to eat a lion, I naturally stopped after only a couple of slices. That turned out to be a bonus because I had delicious leftovers for lunches and dinners over the next couple of days. The Gnocchi Gorgonzola was a different experience altogether. Tender potato gnocchi were coated in a thick, luscious cream sauce with chunks of chicken scattered throughout. The mushrooms I added were thinly sliced and blended in perfectly with the gnocchi, chicken, and creamy sauce. My only criticism is that the dish was saltier than I would have preferred. I think using about half as much salt would have allowed the flavors of the gnocchi and sauce to shine through even more. Aside from that, every bite was pleasantly chewy, rich, creamy, and satisfying. The sauce was everywhere--and that is definitely a good thing. Yum! These two dishes complemented each other perfectly because they offered completely different flavors and textures. The rich, cheesy Florentine pizza paired wonderfully with the creamy Gnocchi Gorgonzola. If I eat here again, I'll probably order these exact same dishes. If you enjoy Italian food as much as I do, I suspect you'll enjoy Aroma Italia's menu.

I think the garlic bread with mozzarella cheese would be great as an appetizer though. The ingredients on both the pasta and pizza were very generous.
