Island Brothers Food Truck at Bridge 99 is THE spot for a drink and great meal. I got the teriyaki chicken with a fried egg on the side. It also comes with roughly 3 cups of rice! The portions are huge!! I ordered around an hour before close and the chef made up a fresh batch for myself and friend. And the flavor was excellent! The chicken was tender and perfectly sauced, and breaking the yolk over some rice added a nice savory touch. I ate half while enjoying a drink inside Bridge 99 and saved the rest for lunch the next day. Great food! Generous portions! And a perfect spot to relax in Bend! read more

So happy to see there was a filipino food option in Bend! I ordered the pork adobo and the lumpia. Also wanted to try the loco moko. As a filipino, I have to say I'm very happy with the amount of rice I got with my orders. The lumpia was really good! Nice and crispy with good flavors and filling. The pork adobo and loco moko was also good and I had enough leftovers for breakfast. I prefer a little more sauce with my adobo, but that's purely personal preference. The flavors were there. Updating my review. I finally tried teriyaki chicken. It was really bad. It tasted dry, like it was sitting in a crock pot the whole day. The mac salad isn't my fave but not bad. I still think their salt and pepper chicken is delicious and would still come back for that. read more

Ordered from DoorDash. Haven't had anything from this place in a while and was very excited to have some authentic Pork Adobo (ordered it with extra meat). It was very disappointing. The menus via Yelp and google I was told were incorrect when I called. I was directed to Door dash and made an easy pick up order. Awesome sticky chicken and tasty tender kalua pork. Rice was nicely cooked. Lumpia was great. The veggies side was cabbage, onion & carrot sliver combo was a nice addition to the rice and meat forkful. The four of us hated the Mac salad. Idk if this was an off batch but someone described it as gritty then we realized it may have had tuna in it. Pretty dry with zero flavor. Island Brothers has THE Best Filipino and Hawaiian food. I'm used to finding lumpia everywhere in San Diego County and didn't expect to find it here in Central Oregon. What a surprise to find this awesome food truck. We tasted the Kaluah pork, lumpia and salt and pepper chicken. Sooooo good. Really, the lumpia was perfectly prepared and was delicious. Nice little food truck that is currently parked outside of Bridge 99 brewery. It's a food truck so the ambiance is Bridge 99. Excellent, try the Bog Trotter! The food is good. I have lived on both Guam and Hawaii, so I know a bit about Filipino/Hawaiian food. Let's start with the pancit. Only on weekends, boo! Sell it every day, it's noodles. It tastes good but it is not as good as the real, island style pancit that I have had. I am not sure why but I don't think the noodles are freshly made and there is just something missing in the seasoning. Lumpia are legit, get 'em. The adobe and kalua pork are also standouts. Definitely ask for the grilled veggies on the side. They are not particularly traditional either, but you won't regret it. Other dishes that I have tried are tasty and I don't have any real complaints. The staff are helpful and courteous and the food while not entirely authentic is delicious. Definitely worth a stop. read more

Worst meal I've had in ages. Tiny, chewy slice of spam on rice with very little sauce. The chicken dish was awful - the chicken chunks were mostly fat and rubbery skin, there were zero vegetables anywhere. And why ask if you want rice when it comes with rice?? And the only other side that isn't MORE money is bread? I'll never ever eat here again. It takes a lot for me to leave a review. I legit want my money back. Wow. Terrible. read more

My wife and I both love this place. The mac salad is on-point and not drowning in mayonnaise, musubis are consistently good and well flavored. The portions aren't huge but the prices are great ($9 for a dinner!!). Nice partially shaded patio for the pup and I. Much appreciated. 8 tables outside and about a dozen inside. Good stop for a quick bite you can make pretty healthy with a couple substitutions. Located in the Old Mill District. Plenty of parking in front of it.

I had a couple of Sliders. One was Pulled Pork BBQ Slider, and the other was the West Coast Ruben Slider. Both Sliders were packed with their respectable meats. Lots of BBQ sauce on the Pulled Pork. Nice, soft and chewy Pork. I'm more of a Corn Beef guy for Ruben's but the Pastrami , Sauerkraut, And Swiss cheese were outstanding . I'll just have to get a couple of Ruben Sliders next time I pay a visit to the "Grill" which will be in the near future.

I knew I was able to get my favorite dishes more often. It's not traditional Thai dishes that everyone is familiar with, it's better! The dishes here are curated right from the heart and is more typical of something you would find if you were traveling Thailand and looking for something out of the box. One of my favorite appetizers is the egg bombs. They are little quail eggs wrapped with a wonton wrapper. It's deep fried and served with sweet and sour sauce. Delightfully delicious. I've tried everything from here and my favorite dish of all is their pad kra pow. You can choose your favorite protein from shrimp, chicken, tofu or pork belly. Whichever one you chose, you will not be disappointed. I recommend getting a side of their spicy sauce too! Atima is the friendliest person you can meet and when she has here mom with her it's the ultimate team. Try them if you are on your way in or out of town. The dishes are the best after a long road trip.

I would definitely be willing to give this another try if they got the salt seasoning right, because, again, you can tell the basic flavoring and preparation of the food is right.

The Caviar Ppang is also very good, the foie adds a great fattiness to the brine of the caviar. The duck was tender and rice was interesting and fruity. Both mocktails were also great. Watermelon Basil is sweet and tart. Apple a day is like a pear juice, so good. The no longer have the kimchi bread anymore, I almost cried.

And while the rice was good, it lacked any kind of sauce or added flavor. I don't think I'll return.
