Very disappointed with this dealership. I should have went to Lucas in New Jersey. spent $50,000 on a truck . First of all they didn't have the title when I purchased it . I had to wait a week to get it while I was paying insurance on this truck . 2 I go to set up my OnStar and the button was broken come to find out when I called onstar . It needs a module and I have to take it to the dealership. As I'm driving there . I hear a very bad noise coming from the engine . Once at the dealership I ask for a loaner car so I can go to work. And they don't have any . So now I miss a day of work. Now I want to see if I get a loaner car when the module comes in . I don't even have the car 1 week and there's issues... I would advise go elsewhere. They don't care . They just want the sale . I give them zero stars . Steer clear from this dealer read more

I had dropped off the car 2017 suburban on feb 7th for a transmission service. premature failure of the 6l80 transmission at 118k. dealer said they would put a brand new transmission in for 6000$. car was done in 3 days ready to pick up on the 3/10. we paid and when picking up the car we noticed a big scrape in the bumper and asked what had happened, they said the car had arrived like that and there was nothing they could do. i then showed them pictures i had taken off the tow truck to show them there was no damage beforehand. i asked for the damaged to be repaired and they then agreed. the car was not ready for pick up till 3/10 1 month with no loaners available. i work in collision and i know how long it should take. the car also came back with awful hologram swirls from improper buffing on quarters read more

I have made appointments for an oil change on 3 different occasions. When I arrived each and every time I'm told it'll be an hour to 2 hours. How can it be an hour to 2 hours for an oil change if I have an appointment? Whats the point in making an appointment if it'll be approximately 2 hours. And thats for them to take my vehicle to the tech. The last appointment was approximately 2 weeks ago when I arrived I was told it'll be approximately 30-45 mins. Ok. No problem... An hour and 25 minutes later I go to check the status of the oil change and my truck was still in the waiting area. I took my keys and left. Came back again today had an 8am appointment... arrived at 7:30am. Was told again an hour to 2 hour wait. I was oh hell no!!! I advised them that if my truck was not taken in by 8:30 I was leaving and I would be going somewhere else. I advised him that this is unsatisfactory. Why have us make appointments if they I will not honor them. I went back to check on my vehicle at 8:05am and it had been taken. By 8:30am my truck was completed. I can't understand why it would take so long ... an hour to two hours to do an oil change when you have an appointment scheduled. Since it has changed ownership this place has gone to the toilet. The service department couldn't care less about the customers. read more

Absolutely no stars. I paid CASH for a 2024 Trax. There was a recall. The service department called to set an appointment. I wanted a Saturday apt. As I work 5 days a week in NYC Monday to Friday from 6am - 4pm. I told they WILL NOT do a Saturday apt. For a computer download because it would inconvenience other customers!! I was also told by the girl that called me I could rent a car and be reimbursed. When I told this to CARLOS he said no way we don't do that. I was also told drop the car off on a weekday at 7am and take public transportation to work!!! I have a car for reasons of health and cannot take public transportation! They refuse to work with me. Just wanted my CASH I paid for the car. Then do not want to inconvenience any other customers! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! ONCE YOU DO AND YOU DRIVE OUT OF THE LOT. I had anxiety walking into a dealership because I had a bad experience with one a couple of weeks ago. This time I was prepared doing some research with Edmunds (car reviews and pricing) and had my numbers ready. I knew the car I wanted and Edmunds recommended Island Chevrolet in Staten Island NY. From the moment I walked in I was treated with the most utter respect. I told them what I wanted and off Bill Knight went, my sales guy, and started working on numbers for the Camero I wanted. After some back and forth Bill came to me and gave me his numbers and sure enough they matched with what I've been looking for and I was extremely happy. Only then I pulled out MY paperwork from my Edmunds research and told them "I have pretty much the same numbers and I know you've done good with me not trying to....me over"!! Soon after I sat in Joe Bonaventura's (Finance Manager) office to sign some papers. He took his time explaining everything to me step by step. I could've not been in better hands and if you ever need a Chevy, go see Bill and Joe!! You will be in good hands. read more

So this an update for all who would like to buy a car from here. Different name. Same nonsense. I keep get a service call from Pete. And he tells me that my part came in. When I ask what part. He tells me a part for a car that's not mine. Theses people are swindlers. I paid for a remote key and the Manuel key portion of the fob doesn't open the car manually. So after speaking with Michel he tells me that when I paid for the 150 dollar key fob it was manfreddi. And now it's island. So all in all these people wait for you to come in. And they take turns stealing money from you. They have an inside auto insurance company that overcharges you monthly for insurance The service Dept sells you stuff that doesn't work. And the maintenance Dept messes with your odometer. Peace be with you. Manfreddi,island, or what ever you will call yourself next week. Heed my warning stay away from here. Go elsewhere read more

I recently had my Chevy Truck back to this place for service for an airbag warning light. I dropped it off around 8am. When asked when should I expect to hear from you , I was told 1pm. I waited.....and waited and waited until finally I called them at around 1:45pm. I was told that the truck wasn't on the lift yet and that it would be in 15 mins and that I would get a call shortly. 2:30 rolls around and still no call. I again make a call in and spoke with the woman, who although pleasant was shaky in her responses....deer in the headlight shaky. Told me that it still wasn't on the lift and that it's the next one going up. I arrive at the dealership about 15-20mins later and told that the "guy who is the only one thta can fix this was called away and he should be back in about 15mins. (Must be a magic clock they use because EVERYTHING would be done in 15mins) Anyway I wait until 5pm and the truck NEVER makes it up on the rack..............they tell me no problem we'll do it tomorrow (Sat.) BUT........I needed the truck on Sat. no can do......................this is the THIRD time you've done this to me. In the past they have held the vehicle and I was told they needed another day.......................each time. This is AFTER I have already made an appointment to get the vehicle addressed. The staff is polite HOWEVER, they have NEVER gotten to my vehicle the same day it was brought to them..................and mind you they are NOT giving away their service. They wanted to charge me a minium 2 hour service fee just for taking the vehicle on a a ride to assess the "squeaks" I was complaining about.................I think my next service goes to New Jersey. read more
