Brought our car in for a few issues. Ended up being bigger issues. It's a great car, so decided to bite the bullet and have the repairs done. Our service rep, Isuf Grajqevci kept us updated and helped us out so much. We've had the pleasure of dealing with Isuf before, so it's no surprise that he was his usual courteous self. He's knowledgeable, and tells it like it is. Isuf always gets me an Uber ride home. This time the car was going to be laid up a few extra days, so he arranged a loaner for us. This is the fourth KIA we've either purchased or leased from Island KIA. Always feel like we get a decent deal, but of course repairs are needed along the way. I give this no stars because of an incident I had there 2 weeks ago. ( I can't seem to erase the one star that came on accidentally) With this said , when this was Mandredi I never had a problem. My family has owned hyundais and Kias for 14 years and this would keep me from getting another since I never want to go back to this place! I had a dead battery due to a wiring short in the rear view mirror. The wiring was covered under warantee but the battery wasn't due to it being over the 24,000/2 year battery warantee. This is a catch 22 here. If I never had a wiring problem my battery would be fine! I paid but later that day took it up with the service rep who was a bit snippy and said he'd discuss it with his supervisor and get back. It's been 2 weeks and still haven't heard back from him even after I attempted many calls. I started a case with the corporate office and now THEY say island kia won't return their calls!!!!! This isn't a way to treat any customer whether they are long time Hyundai / kia owners like me or not. I'm done with them. read more

I stopped into this dealership with my stepfather at the end of March. I was greeted by a gentlemen Vincent Macaluso. He was upfront, honest, professional and knowledgeable. I couldn't ask for a more well rounded individual to converse with on leasing a new vehicle. He was patient and listened to my concerns and was able to work out a good deal even after having some issues with the loan company. His manager was able to be of some assistance as well and got some discounts for military service. I've had the car for about two weeks now and enjoy it very much. Vincent took me for a test drive and provided me with the needed information for the 2018 Kia Forte Sport and answered all my questions. Vincent was busy doing different things and still was very nice and easy to converse with. I'll be coming back here when my lease is up in 3-4 years and hope to do business with him again. I think he may be a manager by then or perhaps in an even better position. I'm just happy he was able to find me a great car for a fair deal even factoring in my credit history and income. But this salesman sat at his desk, looked at his laptop and cell phone, and answered us with an annoyed and angry faces. Vincent was knowledgeable and courteous and made the process easy. One criticism is that the sales rep I was supposed to meet never showed up and the car I was to test drive wasn't ready, but Vincent went out of his way to help me. I had nothing but a positive experience at Island Kia! Normally buying or leasing a car is a dreaded chore but both Vincent Crispino the sales manager and Vincent Macaluso my sales person were wonderful to work with!
