Plantain were burnt to a crisp and Saltfish was a little too salty for my liking. It spilled all in the bag. I really like this place. First, when I walked in I got a good ole fashioned, "Hello!!" This told me service was going to be good. I ordered the large oxtail entree with peas and rice with cabbage. I also got the in-house hibiscus juice. I really enjoyed my meal. Everything was really tasty and my oxtails were tender and meaty. I ordered large oxtails and there was little meat on the pieces I had at all. For 20+ dollars you want what you pay for! The rice and peas were decent. The Mac and cheese was also good, but burned on the top. So even though it looked like a hearty portion it was a lot smaller when you consider all you couldn't eat. I had cabbage that had peas, green beans and carrots as well. But I wanted cabbage. It looked nice but the cabbage was bland. Also ordered lemon pepper wings that again were flavorful but the skin was soggy and the chicken was under cooked. I probably would not go back here again.
