I imagined it would be like the snow cones I used to get when the ice cream truck would come around. This shaved ice is NOTHING like the snow cones you remember as a kid with a packed scoop of ice pebbles dripping sugary water through the paper cone. The shaved ice is a heaping portion in a bowl served with a wooden spoon. It is soft as freshly fallen snow and very tasteful, nothing at all like those old Slush Puppy syrups that make your teeth ache. If you ever see this trailer at an event, I recommend making a beeline straight over before they run out, it really is THAT GOOD.
