I've been ordering through door dash for their food. We've had their food before. Someone is not checking customers orders. My Ube cheese cake French toast is delicious. The only gripe I have is they don't include everything that it should come with. On the menu is shows it had blueberries and strawberries and they somehow always forget to one or the other. Sometimes no blueberries sometimes no strawberries. So it's not consistent. So if you want to order the Ube cheesecake French toast in the future, just expect you'll have something missing in it. Whoever making them is not checking at all. Last time I'm ordered through door dash they forgot the whole order. Door dash driver is suppose to check if get everything before driving off. Honestly we both couldn't finish our plates. The food was amazing, the portions were large and the service was good. There was one thing that I didn't care for and it was when we walked in, we were handed menus and told to order (fast food restaurant style), after ordering we were directed to take a table. Because we had never been there before I felt a little rushed when reading the menu and felt like I had to order right away as there were people staring to trickle in behind us. My husband and I tried this place for the first time back in December 2025 and we shared the short rib Benedict. Thank god we shared it because it was the perfect portion to start our day. The short rib was so moist and tender. We also got it with fried rice and that definitely enhanced the flavor and taste of our meal. The wait was about 20 mins. It's a small cafe in the Pearl City Plaza. I remember the plaza from small kid time when I went to an orthodontist for braces. Inside it's a little cramped, with only 6-8 two person tables that can be combined for bigger parties. Set up is streamlined. Order and pay at the counter, and if you're dining in, they'll bring the food to the table. Heard a lot of good things about their corned beef breakfasts, so it was a no brainer to order a CB hash classic breakfast. Upgraded to fried rice and added on a side of bacon. Total without tax & tip was about $19, average these days. A short time later, my food was delivered, piping hot and smelling like heaven! Generous portions of fried rice and bacon! The corned beef hash had nice-sized chunks of corned beef in it. Dug in and eat my fill, there was enough leftovers for a good sized snack. Good food at a good price, that's what anyone wants. BUC can get crowded, especially on the weekends. I'm glad I tried them, they have in my opinon one of the top 3 corned beef dishes on Oahu! Will keep BUC on rotation when I'm in the area! As they were preparing my food they later told me that they were out of fried rice which was fine, but I later realized they didn't return my $2.75 back for upgrading the side since I ended up picking a regular side. Kinda disappointed that the waitress didn't bring it up and offered to refund the difference. Short rib Benedict was very dry and almost burnt. It felt as if I was eating beef jerky, but in contrast the eggs were perfectly poached. Loco moco tasted burnt as well and was lacking seasoning. This time I got to go for breakfast on a Wednesday and there was only 3 other families inside.
