This was easily one of the worst buffet experiences I've ever had. Most of the food looked like it had been sitting out for hours, and what I did try was either cold, dry, or completely flavorless. Several trays were nearly empty and never refilled, yet we were still charged full price. The dining area was dirty, with sticky tables and floors that clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while. Plates were stacked sloppily, and utensils were often missing or dirty. To make things worse, the staff seemed annoyed any time someone asked a question or requested fresh food. Came here with 7 nephews and they had a great time. They were very happy at the amount of American food available. I love the warm crispy sugar donuts and soup. It was generally quite empty when we went here so it was easy to get food made at the wok station- this is your best bet here because it is made fresh in front of you, to your liking. I was with my family to eat out after my sister had a dance competition, we thought that a Chinese buffet would be a great idea and we gave this place a try and immediately regret it. The food here was disgusting; I got food poisoning because I ate some chicken nuggets and lobster and the meat inside the nuggets were slightly pink and under cooked and the lobster didn't taste right. I was throwing up all day the next day, and the food here wasn't all that good, the noodles tasted like piss and the service wasn't all that great because there were barely anyone working there and the desserts weren't even good because they were store bought. The table and chairs are so sticky, and when we mentioned it to the "waitress" (if you want to call them that) she laughed and said "I know". This buffet restaurant is good for a reasonably priced meal. Four stars for the reasonable price. The dinner buffet was $22. The food is average to good for a buffet restaurant. There is plenty of variety, chicken, shrimp, pork ribs, and steak. The restaurant staff was present and cleared the table as needed. The restaurant is very clean. The food area is very clean and well stocked with food. I did not see any empty serving trays. There is also the option to make a meal to take home. Rat infestation can be looked into. When we went my son and I were walking to grab food then we see a rat running across from the food to the tables in plain sight. I was grossed out and mortified. We have been going here every Friday for the last five years. We are big eaters and this is the only place that can satisfy our appetites . We know the entire staff by now and are treated as family. At time they see us coming from the parking lot and even have our table set and ready for us. Same table same beverages each week. We enjoy the ambience , if you go during busy lunch and dinner times it's noisy but go off peak it's great. The food is great. We have tried it all. There is one lunch price and a slightly higher dinner price. Dinner serves more seafood. Pound for pound lunch is still the best value for a big eater! It's not a classy place. At lunch hour, waitresses were more than customers. They were all scattered around the place chatting in Chinese. Fairly relaxing:)) ( good working atmosphere:)))) Little food variety and they all were very calm lying there. Some of them Looked aged. The only item looked a bit "appealing" was curry wings. We went there last night with the hope of finding what I had lost years ago with the downfall of the previously named New Grand Buffet. At one point many years ago that place had delicious food but appeared to change hands and the food quality became horrific. I kept going back periodically just hoping it would be good again and it never was. I literally gave up hope and decided to just not go there anymore. What happened last night was a pleasant surprise. Everything that I put on my plate was good, and the same went for my wife and daughter. To be clear, this is NOT a fancy place and it is a bit pricey. BUT the food was good and it is tough to find a good Chinese buffet. Yes, they need a serious upgrade on the dated and literally taped up furniture. Also, the price of $19 for dinner might be a bit high, or maybe that is about right. But again, the food is why we will go back. Just putting it out there and I hope the food is as good the next time we go back. read more

I've never had sweet and sour chicken with bones. White rice smelled like it had been soaking in dirty water for quite some time. I didn't finish the cup of rice; they changed it a half hour later. My boyfriend was testing the seafood. If him and I didn't have great stomachs that can withstand lots of exotic foods, we would've had food poisoning i bet. However, there is a bathroom that's okay & clean. There are three types of ice cream. Typical chinese food options and most importantly, they give a pile of napkins on the table without you asking. Servers -- they say to treat servers well because they handle your food. However, they were just so uninviting, not engaged, bored, tired and stood in one place (all three of them) that blocked me from my table to the food. We were seated in the side near the desserts. I came here yesterday with my daughter after some fun next door at Dave & Buster's. I had not been here in years, but not because the experience was bad, its just that when you're trying to make healthy changes to your diet, a Chinese food buffet is not the place to frequent. However, yesterday was a special occasion, and my daughter wanted to go to a place where she could try many foods, and this was certainly it. First off, if you're clean freak, you're not going to like this place. It's in dire need of new carpets, new paint, and new tables & chairs. A few folks mentioned in previous reviews that this location used to be a Red Lobster, and it certainly appears as though the furniture is still from that era. My daughter and I were seated at a two person booth not too far from the Mongolian BBQ area and I had a great view of the buffet area too. Thankfully, our table seemed clean. Prices we're not bad at lunchtime. $9.99 for adults and $4.99 for kids under 10. Soft drinks are extra. I will say that the table service we received was very good. Drink orders were placed, and came quickly. Also, during my stay, I got two refills from smiling servers, so that made me happy. Our first stop on this food journey was the Mongolian area. This is where you dump a bunch of raw ingredients on to a plate, put whatever sauces you want on it, and they cook it up for you on a cook top. Last time I as here, which was a while ago, they had a true mongolian grill, which was circular, now it's just a grill cook top. No big deal. My daughter was excited to make her own creation, and I went nuts with chicken, beef, pork, egg, noodles, onions, shrooms, and a variety of cooking sauces and spices. Needless to say, this came out hot & fresh in my opinion, and it tasted pretty good. Couldn't really complain. My daughter was happy too. We didn't go to hog wild with our mongolian dishes as we did want to check out what the buffet offered as well. I tried out mushrooms, general tso chicken, beef & broccoli, green beans, a little fried rice, ribs. My daughter, who is only 9, is incredibly adventurous and tried the sushi and clams...yes, clams at a buffet. I'm not that bold. Again, the food was decent. I've had better chinese food, yes, but this was palatable and not "disgusting" as many other reviewers have mentioned. I was also watching how often food was being replenished, and it seemed pretty darn frequent, for 1pm on a Sunday. We saved some room for dessert and tried a few little cakes and got some ice cream to top everything off. So on this trip, I'm going to give it three stars. Food was good, service was good, but the place needs a bit of refurbishing and cleaning. I probably won't be racing back here anytime soon, but if you're looking for a place where you can pile your plate high for not a lot of money, aren't easily grossed out by a place not being brand new and having old carpets and old furniture, you'll do alright here. read more
