As always, these folks are fantastic! I am recognized whenever I walk in, even if it's been quite some time since I was there last. I love the ambiance here. We ordered 5 full size trays of various items for a 45 person birthday party. The trays were huge!! Looking for a solid place for Italian food? Look no further, this is it. I started with the pasta fagioli soup which was so good I forgot to take a picture. For my entree I had the chicken marsala and my husband had the lasagna, both dishes were amazing and the portion sizes were huge! We ended the meal with a slice of rich chocolate cake. I had the best chicken gnocchi here! This place has some of the best Italian food beating out other Italian restaurants. I ordered ahead and they were able to make my food right before I came to pick it up so that it wouldn't be sitting 20 minutes going cold since I was in Riverside (40 min drive). The only downside is that the restaurant doesn't have air conditioning inside (they have fans) so it does get warm on summer days. All in all, worth the price and worth the wait! read more

Every weekend my husband will ask me if I have any new place I want to try. And this weekend I did have a place picked out and it wasn't Italia Bella lol. So how did we end up here? We decided to have ice cream first at element and then drive to riverside for lunch. As we were driving to elements my husband said I wonder if italia Bella is good. As we were enjoying our ice cream, I was reading the reviews. The good outweighed the bad and took a chance. We were shocked when we first walked in cuz of how small it was inside but really cute. OMG I hope I remembered our waiters name correctly, I think it was Kenny ? Young guy with a beard, if I got the name wrong so sorry. Let's get on with my story lol. He took our order brought out our salad and as soon as we were done with it he took it off our table like a magic trick. Then came our meals. Wow it was so delicious, perfectly balanced with all the right flavors. Everything tasted fresh and presentation was great. And our waiter was so attentive, we didn't have a empty glass or a dirty dish on our table. I really enjoyed our visit we will be back again. Lil side note: we ended up going to the riverside restaurant the next day and my husband and I were comparing cuz they are both Italian . And we both said Italia Bella was better. The sandwiches here are to die for! The italian sub is a perfect mix of italian meats and the bread it's on is absolutely terrific! I also love the meatball parmigiana sandwich. I always get the antipasto salad with balsamic vinaigrette it's enough for two people. The cream of broccoli soup is so creamy and you have to top your meal off with a cannoli for dessert. It's easy to order online through their website and the to go meals are package very nicely and the salads and desserts are always separated out from the hot food. you will not be disappointed with the food or the service at this great little spot! read more

If you're like me you see all of the Italian restaurants in and near Redlands on Yelp are rated with a big fat MEH. The highest rating West was in Loma and it was... MEH. So then I saw this place with FIVE stars in Yucaipa. I'm like if Redlands can't manage Italian there's no way Yucaipa can. Especially with no liquor and such an informal dining area. Maybe it's 5 stars for Yucaipa but another 4 in Redlands. Nope. Incorrect. Ti sbagli, stupido grasso bastardo. I'm Half Italian and so it's hard to describe this place to the general public. There are two types of Italian restaurants: inexpensive 'red sauce' joints and fancy expensive Italian restaurants for romantic evenings of wine and dine. ITALIA BELLA is definitely the former type. The difference here is that 'red sauce' joints have canned red sauce and uninspired generic offerings. They take two frozen breaded pieces of eggplant out of a bag, deep fry, dump canned sauce and ordinary cheese on it and VOILA MEH eggplant parm. But that's not THIS place. BELLA takes those ordinary dishes and serves them with fancy restaurant love. And for a far more reasonable price. My chicken parm was cooked perfectly, the homemade sauce was delicious, and the simple spaghetti wasn't wilted or watery. My partner in crime got some sort of eggplant roll-up situation that was instantly legendary. So I don't want to sound like a push over or my Italian family would be mad. I would have loved the menu to offer some sort of lemon chicken with capers piccata situation. Italians do not live by red sauce alone. I'd also warn people if they kinda want that romantic thing order this food for takeout and treat yourself to nice bottle of wine from Albertsons. Oh and their salads looked good! If you live in this area and haven't tried this restaurant you are missing out! This place is a little gem. I had the Stuffed eggplant arabiatta with a side of meatballs. You can get it mild medium or spicy. I got spicy and it was delicious. You can tell the owner takes pride in his food. He pointed out that everything is Fresh and homemade. They also don't fry any of there food so it's healthier. He makes a great marinara and the meatballs were delicious. This is my new favorite restaurant in the area. My friend and I went there (Italia Bella) for lunch today. We ordered a Meat Lasagna and a Veggie Lasagna. The meat lasagna was with Marinara sauce and the veggie was with white sauce.
