I love pasta so when I saw the food truck :Italia On The Road, I just had to order. Hands down the food was delicious and the portion size is big. I loved that my pasta came with a salad and a bread. Truly finished all my food because it was so delicious. If you love pasta then you definitely have to give them a try. All their menu options look delicious. So much so that I had a hard time deciding what to order but opted for the Rigatoni with Bolognese Sauce. It didn't disappoint. The staff was also super friendly and nice. Would definitely order from them again.

Yesterday, Italia on the Road hosted my daughter's bridal shower for 20 guests. This is my first time using a catering service so I wasn't sure what to expect. However, everything went so well, I can't recommend them enough. They helped me find the best location in the backyard to setup, prepared their food in their truck and set up everything elegantly. The service was friendly and professional. The food was delicious. My guests kept complimenting them to me even the day after the event. We had a full charcuterie and cheese board, bruschetta with different toppings, skewers, two kinds of pastas, and both tiramisu and cannoli for dessert. Italia On the Road also brought Siciliana sodas to complement the Italian themed food. People really loved it. One guest commented that she just came back from Italy and the food she had over there wasn't as good as what she had yesterday. Another said the tiramisu was the best she's ever had. I loved the Rigatoni alla Bolognese, and the spinach ravioli was a revelation.

They stopped by my apartment complex this past weekend and I was lucky enough to give it a try. It was honestly great and I was surprised to see that they have a unique presentation of a dish that I am very familiar with already. They have many great options on the menu, but we chose the pizza pocket because it sounded unique and it's similar to how I eat a slice of pie anyway. We chose the pepperoni pocket and thought it was fantastic. All the flavors were well balanced, and it was a good sized portion. It also came with a side salad and overall, we just really enjoyed it. It was also made very fast so we did not have to wait very long and the staff was very friendly. Being that it is a food truck they did not really have a seating area, but it was already at my apartment so I was just getting to go. I would definitely recommend and if I see them again, I will certainly give it another try.

Italia on the Road exceeded all of our expectations! We recently hosted an international team-building event and needed catering that would not only impress our guests--many of whom had just arrived from overseas--but also accommodate a range of dietary requirements and last-minute menu changes. From start to finish, Solene was incredibly responsive, flexible, and attentive. She addressed every detail, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. Chef Angelo then delivered a spectacular culinary experience. His appetizer, entrée, and dessert selections were thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and delicious. Our guests were delighted, and the event was a culinary triumph. I can't wait to work with Solene and Chef Angelo again. Thank you both for making our event truly unforgettable! Food was good. I ordered two coffeemisus and Gnocchi. Loved the quality but was disappointed with the quantity. The portion size was more like an appetizer or a snack! Service was good. The staff was friendly. The pasta and the tomato base was fresh and yummy. I just wished that the quantity was not so little.

Everything was absolutely fire. They had dropped by my apartment complex and I was able to get the gnocchi, ravioli, and pistachio cup. Food and ambiance was amazing and the pistachio cup is a MUST and tied together my night. Service was great -- prompt and lovely.

We paid way too much for what tasted like microwaved and low quality food, very disappointing. Will not recommend.

I got the 6 pc chicken tenders tossed in "Cha Cha" sauce (honey sriracha) with a side of fries. My partner got the Belly something, but his box consisted of lemon pepper and honey BBQ wings with buffalo ranch fries . The food was SO GOOD! I can not wait to try the chicken tenders in several of the sauces. The establishment appears to be more of a place of "order your food and go". The cook knew our order off the top of his head. Lastly, the parking lot is pretty tight.

What we ordered: I ordered the Flyin' Slider Trio with Chili Zing sauce. These were fantastic! The sauce was spicy but not overpowering. The cole slaw was tasty. The chicken was hanging off the sides of the bun. They give a very generous portion. I also got the corn poppers with lemon pepper seasoning. When the menu says corn "popperS," I thought I'd get more than one. The fact that they charged $4.00 for a half ear of corn is ridiculous. I was even madder because it was delicious! It was breaded and deep fried. The breading was great and ensured that the corn wasn't oily. If the serving was two, I would feel like I kind of got my money's worth, but not one. I'd never get that again. My husband got the 10-piece wings with half garlic parm and half lemon pepper. He said the wings were big and fried to perfection. He loved them. He also got fries. They were $4.00 for a pediatric serving size. Overall, the meal was very good. The main items were worth the price, but they really charge too much for the sides considering their size. I'd go back to support them, but please hold the sides...

We asked if they had any plant-based or vegan options. They only sold burgers however the lady that helped us was very sweet, polite, and kind. She told what they had and what we could order inside instead. We walked in and the gentleman named Oscar G. cashed us out. He was also very friendly! Very professional and knowledgeable about the menu and non-dairy items. Provided us with what we needed right away, the container for the salsa and brought out fresh ones for me. Very nice guy. The food came out right away. The portions were big in my opinion. The prices were decent, the portion was great, and best of all the service was good. Their self-serve condiments was a PLUS! I've been to a lot of taco spots and these were by far the freshest and crispiest cucumbers, fresh cold salsa, onions and cilantro was also fresh. The food was good and filled us up. It was simple but fulfilling. Will definitely be back and highly recommend it. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seats as well.

I ordered the asada, carnitas, al pastor, tripas, cabeza, and lengua. The asada was tender with a nice grilled flavor, but my favorites were definitely the tripas and cabeza. Both were a little greasy, but in a good way--they had a lot of flavor and were probably the standouts of the meal for me. One thing I liked was the condiment bar. You can load up your tacos with as much onion and cilantro as you want, plus they have radishes and lime wedges available. They also offer two salsas, a red and a green. Both tasted good and had solid flavor, although I was hoping for a little more heat. Overall, it's a solid taco spot, especially on Taco Tuesday. Good variety of meats, reasonable prices, and plenty of toppings to customize your tacos. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area and craving some tacos.

So i am a bit confused about the photos here, because there is an actual restaurant looking place,…read moresome little cart and a food truck. Hopefully they are all related. My review is based on the food truck. It was my son's birthday. He was allowed to chose anything he wanted for dinner. Any price point... anything. Well i had seen this on Instagram and shared it with him two weeks prior. At first he wanted to go to Nobu or there were a few other high end options, but that is not his style honestly. Luckily, he remembered the post that I shared. He wanted to go here. Well, buckle up kids, we are going on a field trip! We left work/schools early and took a drive to Compton. When our navigation said we had arrived it suggested we park in the lot across from the library. Ok. There directly in front of the library was the food truck. There was a small line, so that was ideal. Not a long wait. My other smaller human and i went to wash their hands in the library. When i came out he had ordered the hungry man or something. It was more than enough for us. The oxtail was good. The ribs were good. The chicken was good. The cornbread was yummy. Just not over the moon for the greens... and i loooove collard greens. But that's ok. We went for the meats. They were out of the dinosaur ribs, so maybe if we go early enough next time, we can try those. We took it across the street to the park and ate and that was enough time for the small one to also play to get energy out before we headed home. The drive home was long, now that rush hour traffic had started. But none of us complained, because the meal was worth it.

It's bright, lively, and filled with the soundtrack of sizzling food, and orders constantly being called. The décor is simple, clean but the vibe is pure Gardena comfort, no pretension, just flavor and vibes. If you have those late night cravings for street food? Oh, it's dangerous. The kind of good where you take one bite and immediately start tearing into the rest with such joy and comfort. Every dish tastes like it was made by someone who refuses to let you leave hungry. The flavors slap, the portions are generous, and the tortillas taste like they were handcrafted by angels who specialize in carbs. Oh, how could I not talk about the drinks and desserts, this is something you need to see for yourself, words cannot describe the things they have for that sweet tooth craving. Mmmm, pure heaven!
