Got a Sicilian Thick Crust pizza and a small salad. A very tasty pizza. The pizza crust was crispy especially the edge. The sauce had the right balance of tartness and saltiness. The cheese added a nice creaminess. The carrots in the salad were pickled so it gave a little bit of zing to the salad. Service was very friendly and helpful. Dining is available both inside and outside. Parking is available in the street and also in the parking lot behind the store. Between the corner, edge and middle squares, the edge was my favorite. read more

Good for some, not for me. Calzone: It was huge and came in a giant box. Downside, it was 2/3 bread. Which is fine, but very misleading. It would be best if they just cut the size down and had it packed. Flavor was good, just couldn't. Get past the fact that I threw away 2/3 of it since it was just bread. Spaghetti: Second time I've tried it and it was bland. If you have little ones who love the meatballs, beware. My little one did not eat it. He also asked for more sauce, as it was a little lackluster with the sauce portion. Chicken Alfredo: Again, a bit on the bland side. Sauce was better, but still clumped all together on the way home (2 minute drive). Bread: More like croutons. Not my cup of tea. Try it for yourself, it may be more to your liking. read more

My Margherita pizza is always the best from BonellO's. The roasted garlic is next level. I always receive great customer service from the team. They are excited about pizza! Long time eater of Bonello's pizza, specifically the one on Gaffey in Pedro. They are closed for another week for renovations, so I decided to come to the one in Lomita. It is not the same. This one was soggy towards the middle of the pizza (no firm undercarriage), most toppings fell off, even held in a taco shape there was no form to it because of how soggy the center was... not sure if this was a fluke, but service was still good and the pizza came out in good time. There should probably be some form of uniformity to the Bonellos pizza locations, the chicken that usually comes on mine is sliced breast, not shredded, the chicken tasted like it was out of a can. I only had 2 slices and ended up throwing the rest of the pie out because there was some funk to the chicken and it was so difficult to eat... shame... I'll stick to the one in Pedro, those guys are as authentic as it gets. PS, garlic bread was a nice touch but it was the same texture as a big crouton. Editing review per owners comment: Given that apparently I was misled to believing this Bonellos was of the same chain, the pizza is a straight 0/5. Go elsewhere for your pizza unless you like soggy pizza and crouton Garlin bread. read more

This is a genuine and authentic pizza joint with NY Pizza crust feels. Fast and friendly delivery, albeit they have a small delivery radius. You can also walk into their shop and grab a slice, again with a very friendly staff. A great option for PV, Lomita and Torrence peeps. read more

It is one of the few pizza restaurants that still sells pizza by the slice. The pizza is authentic, NY Style thin crust. I ordered the lunch special with 2 slice pizzas, salad, and a soda for $10.95. There is an extra charge of $1 per topping. My total was $12.95. FYI, a slice is actually 1/4 of a large pizza. Let's just say I ended up taking the other slice to go. The pizza came out piping hot! I understand it takes up to one hour for delivery sometimes. I can put up with that and we all know that happens. I placed my order waited for hour and half, called just to check up on the order and asked if the driver is on the way with my pizza and A lady hung up on me as if she got a wrong call. I thought the phone was disconnected- called again, asked the other guy same question in a respectable manner and he replied "we just have one driver and he will get to you" then hung up on me again. then it took another 20 mins more for them to arrive. i wouldn't have posted this review just because the delivery was running almost 2 hrs late from a pizza shop 1 mile from my house(for single large pizza)but the unprofessionalism and rudeness is pretty darn bizarre. read more

Our friends recommended this place to us and our kids love the pepperoni pizza here, their large is gigantic! Service has always been great! Our previous order was on time. For today's order, it was about 10 minutes after scheduled time and the lady there said sorry so many times and was so nice and she looked like she felt so bad (ordered for pick up at 11:30, got it at 11:40 ish) Again, I only had to wait about 10 mins. Great spot for pizza. Stumbled across this place for a quick bite and was not disappointed. Ordered 1 sausage, pepper slice to share which was quite large. They even cut it into 2 pieces for us which was very thoughtful. The slices are displayed at the counter and are reheated when ordered. They even gave us an additional garlic/cheese bread on top which was a nice surprise. The pizza was crispy, flavorful, and good mix of meat and veggies. Definitely affordable for the portion size. We have visited the Bonello's in San Pedro and we thought it was the same owners and it turns out it's different owners. The service was ok and the pizza and calzone we ordered was good, but not incredible enough to visit this location again. We won't plan on visiting this location again. read more
