Hands down the best pizza delivery joint in Quakertown. Know why? Because not only do they get it to you fast, so fast that the crust of the pizza and their French fries are still crispy!! Not a friendly place. I came in to order a couple of slices and I am standing at the counter for 2 minutes and know one comes to help. A lady by the kitchen sees me a couple of times and finally asks what I want. I say 2 slices and she proceeds to walk to the back and get a manager who asks what I want again. Tell him 2 slices than walks away. When I ask if they are going to put my slices in the oven, the lady disappears again for another minute. At that point, I just turned around and left. No service deserves zero stars, but that is bit an option. I do not recommend this place. read more

Who ever is working tonight on 12/1/2020 screwed up the orders yet again. The cheese fries came with no cheese but we asked for it on the side not on top of the fries. And the burger came with no bacon or cheese yet it was checked off from the make your own list. This is the second time this has happened. First time chucked it up to a fluke. Ordered again a while later after the first mess up and those were right. It happened again tonight. So now I know its not the ordering online issue its who ever is working issue. They have great food dont get me wrong but when someone is screwing up online orders it gets really annoying. read more

This place deserves a chance. I tried a slice tonight and it was great. It was still fresh but bet it is better right out of the oven. I will try it with less cheese, although they put the right amount on. I also tried the tacos and they were the kind Americans make at home but good. It just needed more cumin. My wife and her friend went to the Trappe location after work, arrived shortly after 5. Each ordered appetizers, drinks and entrées. Just before 2 hours being there, they were asked to leave because they were going to get busy??? The place had open tables. Hard to believe they were asked to leave. They were paying customers. Trying this place for 1st time. Friendly people who greeted us upon arriving. I noticed right away that it's not a super clean place which concerns me but my son wanted to try it. Tables have sort of a sticky film on them - usually means they don't clean with bleach. Waitress was sweeping the floors around us, which turns me off as I don't want dust flying around while I eat. Otherwise the pls e was cute. We were served quickly & The food was excellent. Chicken cheese steak, meatball parm sub, and grilled chicken breast. Rolls were fresh & lettuce was too. Fries were plentiful. Service was very good as well. For a local pizza joint, this place was not bad. I would return. read more

Everyone there is super friendly, our orders are always right and delicious. The prices are great, and the food is worth every penny! We have tried other places in Quakertown and never found something we liked until we came across Italian Delight on Grubhub and Menufy, and we've never called anyone else for our ordering-in needs! This used to be my go to pizza but not today. My delivery person didn't have change so she ended up with a $8 tip on 1 pizza and wings. Then I start to eat my super overpriced pizza and it's got almost no sauce and lacks all flavor. Never been here before and will never go back. Placed an order for 2 cheese steak hoagies and was told 15 to 20 mins. Got there 25 minutes later and still waited an additional 25 minutes. Got home no cheese on our cheese steak hoagies, easily a full head of lettuce and crappy tomatoes all on a soggy roll. So I paid $22 for the worst sandwich I have honestly ever had and it took almost an hour to make it. Too many great places in Lansdale, Jesus I stopped going to rays outside my development because their prices are too high and the quality fell off, but they look 100 times better now that's tried this place. If it takes you 50 mins to make a sandwich make it good at least. read more

Unsafe Food!!!! BEWARE of "Italian Delight's" unsafe to consume Sicilian Pizza. It may contain undercooked/unsafe pizza dough like mine did.To give a little background, I eat a lot of pizza (4-5 times per week) and have tasted pizza from over 100 restaurants and understand how they are made and how they should taste when cooked properly. It is Father's Day so I thought it would be nice to go out and get some Rita's Italian Ice for the family and bring home some pizza to eat after. I chose Italian Delight because it was right next to Rita's in Birdsboro (which was a bit further than the other Rita's but it had the flavor ice my wife likes) and the reviews online seemed to indicate the food and service was better than average, so I figured I would give it a shot. I order a Sicilian pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese and a plain slice of pizza to enjoy with my son while we wait for the Sicilian to cook. The reheated slice appeared fine but the dough seemed slightly undercooked but not enough to complain or be concerned. After about 20-25 minutes the pizza was "finished" cooking and we paid and took it home to eat. My wife had a corner slice (due to her love of the crust part of the pizza) and took a bite first. She immediately asked if I had started eating the pizza and asked if I could take a look because she said the texture of the dough seemed off. After I took a look at her slice and the rest of the pizza I quickly realized the dough was ¾ raw/undercooked for about 80 percent of the pizza. Understanding the risks associated with eating undercooked dough and the unpleasantness of the texture, I decided to call Italian Delight and let them know my experience and to see what could be done to make it right.I explained everything to the first girl that answered the phone only to be put on hold to re-explain the issue to another person (maybe the manager). I explained the state of the pizza I received and that I would like a credit for the next time I would be able to make it down there (as I explained it was already close to 8pm and I had to get my two young kids to bed and help out my wife with our newborn) when I had gotten home with the pizza and going back out would have been even more inconvenient then having to find something else to eat around the house after wasting 40 minutes driving roundtrip for food that was inedible and unsafe to eat). She stated that my options were to bring back the pizza to receive a refund, have them finish cooking the pizza (shocked this was even suggested), or have a new pizza cooked for a replacement. In any case, (She explained)I would need to bring back the pizza as that would allow the cooks to understand what they did wrong in order to learn from it and not that they didn't believe me. I explained that I am not sure what they can learn from an example of an undercooked pizza except that they need to prebake the dough longer! ... Ok fine. I then asked, "Since this will add to my inconvenience and wasting my time just to provide a learning experience to the cooks at the expense of my "the customer's" experience. I would like my money back and a replacement pizza to make it right. She said she would have to call the owners to see if that would be OK (I guess they don't empower their staff and onsite managers freedom to handle things like unsafe food and customer service). After another wait on the phone holding, she got back on the phone and said they can't do anything other than what was stated previously. I said "Fine, I'll be back shortly with the undercooked pizza to get my money back!". I got my money back and will never go there again. I can't believe that some business owners treat their customers this way and allow for unsafe food to be sold. I hope after reading this they get the message. read more

My family has ordered from every Italian place within 10 miles of Quakertown and Italian Delight makes a good pie but there is way more to a good Italian restaurant then just pizza they use quality ingredients and they are very courteous and accommodating. I recommend their turkey hoagie or chicken parm. Fair prices considering the large portions. They even let us keep our coupon to use agin! read more
