In town for a lacrosse tournament and my son asked for pizza and we chose Primo's because of all the reviews and mannnn was it worth it. One of the best pizzas we have had and everyone there was so nice. Even the customers in there said "good choice best pizza in town". Highly recommend Primos. Well I'm going to put myself right in the middle of the rating scale for this place. 5 stars? No. 1 star? Also ridiculous. This is a solid pizza shop good for large, hearty slices, a few lunch deals (including a yelp check in deal - holla!) and quick casual setting. There are about six booths along the wall which could seat 4-6 people each depending on your size and squish-ability. I ordered the lunch special: small salad, slice and fountain drink for $5.75 though upgraded the slice to a specialty one. Grand total - $6.89 for a solid lunch. The salad was made of fresh romaine, sliced tomato, olives, roasted peppers, shredded mozz, pickles (pickles? weird) and dressing of choice. A-OK. The pizza I chose was breaded chicken, broccoli and a general tso's sauce dolloped on. Different, but very good. Crust was crispy and just thick and rich enough to appease my picky NY'er taste. Service was prompt and friendly enough. The counter guy wasn't super enthusiastic about serving pizza, but still smiled and was nice enough. If I ever am back in the area and want pizza or a quick and easy bite, count me in. read more

Order dinner from Primo on a chilly Saturday night. Delivery was fast and the delivery driver was friendly. The pizza is good. The crust is crispy, the pizza has the perfect amount of sauce vs cheese. The sauce is a bit sweet but not annoyingly sweet. I also ordered the Antipasti salad and garlic knots. The salad is a perfect example of a pizzeria salad, with plenty of meat on top and I loved the addition of the pickles. The garlic knots are well seasoned, very garlicky and there will be no vampires in our house tonight. All in all, I would return. read more

Have ordered here many times. Food is always great. This past Tuesday night 4/27 was a little different experience. My wife went outside to get the order and the delivery man commented on her short height and said it was ok because she is well perportioned. My problem is when she comes back inside and says.."well that was creepy" and tells me the above story. I wanted food. Not to feel as tho my wife was sexually harassed. Met the owner today. Good pizza horrible service. Never been treated so rude in my life. I ordered pizza's and paid ahead of time. When I came back to pick them up i went to The restroom(normal routine before I eat) as I was entering, the owner pulls up in his vehicle. He yells at me "the restroom is only for customers" the owner continued to follow me into the bathroom and stand at the door while I wash my hands. He continued to be confrontational. I advised him that I patronized his establishment in the past and will continue to do so, if he apologized. I was trying to be the bigger person and offer an opportunity for continued business, but he totally blew it. He didn't apoligize and used the F word. I will never visit this establishment again. Used to go all the time 4 times a week sometimes 2-3 times a day for 5 years. Came back from Massachusetts to get my favorite pizza. Owner sold the company they kept name. I has definitely went down hill charge $18 for 4 slices and 2 sodas. Quality of the pizza was definitely compromised with new owners. So this evening while I was at work and placed an order for delivery. Waited 45 minutes just to receive pizza fries WITH A FLY in my fries!!! This was my first time ever ordering anything from Primo Pizza & Grill on Emmaus Avenue. So I call back to inform them what I found in my food, and the manager is picking a fight with me insisting it's just basil.. Saying it's so easy to confuse the two... Like wtf.!!! The fact he tried to tell me that I am confusing it with basil is basically them calling me incompetent ... Very unprofessional!! Oh I let him have it! So it took them over an hour for them to fix this issue. They also did not give me utensils with my meal and when I called them and told them about the fly in my fries he said "oh we don't give out utensils unless a customer asks." like are you serious!?!? I HAVE NEVER EATEN TAKE OUT BEFORE WHERE THE PLACE DIDN'T GIVE YOU UTENSILS WITH YOUR FOOD!!! I work right where south 4th street & Emmaus Avenue meet, so it taking over an hour to fix this is completely ridiculous. I actually called back and asked them what is taking so long and the owner/manager began to scream and curse me out and he told me to "F*&$ OFF!" Once the delivery man came I told him what the manager/owner said and that it was very unprofessional & disrespectful to the customer. Once I got my food it was hard and cold. The manager/owner called me back on my cellphone and started saying this is not their fault, the cook checked it before the delivery man left with it, saying I had to do this. I said "how did I do this when I got it the fly was already melted into the cheese!" It isn't my fault you guys run a bad establishment and are not sanitary and do not pay better attention while preparing food FOR THE PUBLIC. I will also be posting a photo of this. So disgusted & disappointed. Never ordering food from this place again!!! Thank you for the terrible customer service Primo. This establishment deserves to be shut down. I advise anyone & everyone in the Lehigh Valley not to go here! I was in town for a bodybuilding competition and I wanted a chicken parm sub afterwards so I looked on yelp and found Primo's. I ordered over the phone one chicken parm sub and a side of meatballs with garlic bread. Upon arriving I was asked where I saw the menu and I said on yelp, and they said because they don't sell garlic bread with the side of meatballs but people always think they do for some reason. I apologized and they were extremely nice and said don't worry about it we are still making the garlic bread for you. I thought that was extremly nice of them. The food was great! Chicken parm sub wasn't too messy, the chicken was good, and there was just enough cheese. The meatballs were very good as well and the garlic bread was again, very good. I would highly recommend Primo's for anybody passing through who wants some good italian food!! read more

I had not been here for a couple of years and while decent before I was never compelled to write a review. Today I was there and they had just pulled a fresh plain pizza out of the oven for slices. It looked so good I had a slice for lunch. It may have been the best slice I have had in 10 years. It was like a slice you would get in Manhattan. Thin crust, with a slight crunch, very airy dough, delicious sauce and the perfect amount of high quality mozzarella. They delivered my order missing item(s) and then when I called to let them know they made it seem like I was lying on multiple occasions by multiple staff members. Food was cold and fries were not cooked thoroughly. I was a regular customer before this but now they have completely lost my business. They did nothing to turn this experience around but offer a half baked apology (that was still denying any fault on their behalf) and bringing the missing item about another hour late. My family has been coming here for years. So of course when I'm home for a visit I must stop in. Cheese steak is my go to meal. Perfect roll with a slight crispy crunch. At $5.50 for a medium steak, I feel almost like a thief. What a deal! My dad adores the gyros which run for the same price. We were surprised by the terrible review about the service. First off, when I came in to pick up my takeout order, they never put it in - never even apologized, just started blaming their computer system. Such rude people there. Then, when the food was finally ready, I questioned the price and was blatantly yelled at. I've ordered from this location on a few occasions and it has been average until tonight. I ordered online. When I was picking it up I had to remind them off one of the ingredients to add. Then I realized they had items on the sandwich that was not listed online or in their paper menu. I told them it would not be eaten that way and they got combative. They scrapped the lettuce and tomato off (after I told them it would not be eaten other than if plain). They continued to tell me that it was my fault. I took the poorly made sandwich home to find out there was mayo dumped all over it. I called back to get the sandwich remade (as I cannot eat mayo), but because "it was my fault for ordering it wrong", they would be unable to replace it because the manager/owner would be mad. They said the only way they will make a new one is if I pay again. I asked to speak to a manager and was refused. Handled extremely poorly. I want a refund for that item (whick apparently will not happen) and will not recommend this place to anyone based on this experience.
