Margherita

A small corner shop without dedicate parking, but there is street parking. We ordered online and we can see why it's better to take for to-go than dine-in. There are two small tables in the store itself, but they function much better for you to take to go than anything else. They are home to the original GIANT pizza and while impressive, maybe one day I'll order one if the need arises. In total, we tried 3 small pizzas - pepperoni, margherita, and combination. When I got the order, the basil smell was fragrant and smelled very pleasant. In terms of quantity, the pizza crust and dough were very filling. On the denser side and not on the airy side. Heavier than imagined so we were glad we stuck with the small and not anything bigger. The quantity of ingredients was great for the buck so you wouldn't think you are being skimped. The taste was better than most pizzas we've had before. At the very least, better than some more commercialized stores for sure. All in all, decent pizza place to order pick-up from. Decent pricing for the quality and quantity provided. Worth a try to formulate your own opinions!

I gave this place a 3 star for a few reasons. The pizza was good, the texture was okay but I would've liked it more crispy. The cheese was melty and fell off the pizza when moving the slices to your plate. The wings were perfectly cooked and tasted delicious with the buffalo sauce. By far my favorite of the meal. The potato was a little to be desired. The potatoes were dry and were virtually tasteless even though there was plenty of seasoning on the potato. I believe they leave them on a heat lamp which consequently dries them. I do not recommend them. The place is tiny so don't expect the full experience of eating here. There are only two tables and they seat 2 or 3 people at best. It's a stop and go place for sure. And they sell by the slice if you only want to try the pizza. The service was good and our food came out relatively quickly. I gave it 3 stars due to the fact that my favorite thing at a pizza spot was the wings.

Ordered pizza and wings special which comes with potato wedges. Quality is superb, food tastes fresh in comparison to competing pizza conglomerates. Looking forward to ordering more Italiano's pizza

Pizza was good, friendly workers, and food was made fast. Definitely want to try out her options here. Space is small so not ideal for large groups to eat in.

Giant pizza

We ordered 3 giant pizzas to donate to the homeless shelter for $33 each, so $99 plus tax and tip= $120. I think the pizzas would have been edible if they had been fresh out of the oven. The pizza here does not hold well after an hour; the pizza becomes dense and dry. The people are nice and the space is small so I would suggest a pick up during rush hour. Street parking only.

Awesome pizza, value prices and awesome people behind the counter. It's a neighborhood joint and we've been customers for over 20 years.

The melty cheesy, flavorful sauce and toppings against the crispy crust made it super delicious. The downside is the pizza gets cold by the time you eat a second slice and you just crave experiencing what you had earlier. It is a bit difficult to have an intimate private conversation because the acoustics of the room made the music and conversations around echo. But if you're looking for the louder party vibe it's great! Super friendly staff as well, would recommend if you're in the arts district.

Okay, so I know I've driven by this place and went to an ice cream museum pop up back at the end of…read morethe covid fakedemic, but it really wasn't on my radar. Nice name, but when I see menus of any cuisine that go out of their way to offer vegan and gluten free versions of everything, it tends to put me off. I know that's an unfair prejudice, but I always assume it's more of a healthy food place for people who complain about regular food than a real tasty joint. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. Now that I've tried their fantastic pizza, my only sadness is that they are located in DTLA, where finding parking even to run in and pick up things to go is always difficult. So, we were here at first not for the food but because my teen son's death metal band, Institutionalized, was playing a show with the very popular super cool local metal band Diabology. But, hey, if you're there might as well grab something before you leave, right? So We got a cheese pie, which was excellent. Also tried a slice of their white pie, which was garlicky goodness. What really sold us, though, was the Sicilian pie we got. As born and bred New Yorker transplants who have been here a long time, we have never found a fantastic Sicilian. Good, sure, but never great. The pies are never thick enough as far as the breading. Here it was as close as we've ever got. And like the other pizza, the taste was excellent. And, as native New Yorkers, we know our pizza! Strongly recommended! Can't wait to get another Sicilian pie in the near future with some toppings.

I finally went back and tried one of their vegan pastas I hadn't tried before, and there was meat in it (pancetta). I literally am feeling sick to my stomach--I'm pescatarian + non-dairy and stopped eating meat in 2013 so I'm sure you can imagine. The customer service was amazing and the cashier who helped me, Melissa, was so apologetic and sweet (obviously wasn't her fault), but this is just another warning to anyone who is vegan and considers coming here. I also came when they were about to close and already had to wait like 15min longer than they said so there's not even anything else open this late for me to find other food. Very disappointing and I will not be coming back for good this time. If I could give separate stars for customer service, I would give them 5 stars but this was unacceptable on the cook's part. Do not risk it if you are vegan.

My friend and I ordered the melons appetizer which was refreshing and phenomenal - who knew pickles and sweet melon went together so beautifully?! For pizza, we ordered a slice of "Tomato Slice" with ricotta and a slice of pepperoni. We both loved the Tomato Slice but my friend thought the pepperoni was just ok. For dessert, my friend ordered the Princess Cake. Fortunately she let me try a bite so I can say it was moist and delicious! I got the coconut cream pie which was lovely with some mango on top, and to go, I snagged a slice of the stone fruit "slab" - they literally took off the "sold out" sign at opening and I immediately told our server I wanted some to take home! I tried it the next day, slightly warmed up and it was amazing! This spot is definitely worth the trek and parking struggle that is Silver Lake!
