    The bagel pizzette.

The pizza is delicious and the service was great! Thank you Manuel! I will definitely be coming back.

If you love bagels and pizza, you're goint to love Bagel+Slice. Every bite tastes like it was made with care (because it is!). Their bagels are hand-rolled, boiled, and baked the old-school way. The ABC Avocado Bagel was so fresh and satisfying. The pizza? WOW. I tried the spicy sausage & peppers and the margherita, both had the perfect chewy crust (made with heritage wheat!), bold flavors, and quality toppings. Don't even get me started on the drinks... pistachio matcha latte? Game changer. And the tiramisu ... Worth it. Great vibes, friendly team, and a super solid menu. 10/10 recommend.

I'm so appreciative of the delicious gluten-free bagel options! And they have some nice presentations for the bagels as well. I'd like to go back and try gluten-free pizza.

We used the Too Good To Go App on Sunday night and we were excited for our surprise, but while we were waiting the pepperoni pizza was speaking to V, so I ordered him a slice. I noticed they had a gluten free bagel on the menu but wasn't in the mood for anything at the time. Kid was pleased with his slice. I was happy about the service and cleanliness of the spot. It was a nice touch to see Highland Park done like the subway in NYC. It made me feel reminiscent. It seemed a bit expensive for a slice of pepperoni at $4 something, but with that said it's been a long time since I've regularly bought one. Ultimately kid was happy.

4 stars for not bad bagels. Also an important member of the community for sustainability. 0 stars for the $10 tub of salmon lox spread that was clearly spoiled and sour to taste. I called there business to confirm if the spread is supposed to taste this way and they doubled down saying yes instead of admitting they made a mistake. My tongue is still numb from the spread while I'm writing this review. I would advise the business to clearly mark the containers of fresh food with Best By Dates as none of them had any information.

Came by as a recommendation by a friend, I don't realize what I was missing. Serving bagels and pizza, there are a variety of items to consider. The bagels are soft and fresh. I like loading mine with regular traditional cream cheese. The sausage and peppers have a serious kick, layered with spicy sausage and a combination of peppers. The items are on display at the front counter with a clear view of the kitchen to see how the manic happens. Both the bagel and pizza slice were brought to me within a few minutes, quick service.

The pizza is ok and a bit expensive for a single slice. I had a Hawaiian slice which had plenty of pineapple and a good crust, but the cheese just wasn't doing it for me. I'll need to come back and try the bagels, since they were out of the ones I really intended to try here. Service was friendly and the decide was cute, if a bit pink for my taste.

Great spot on York ave that I have been curious about for a while. Yesterday my man and I were out shopping and decided to stop here for a quick bite. The service is top notch. They are super sweet and accommodating to your needs. The menu is large with many different options to choose from. I chose the breakfast special pizzette which is an egg on top of a bagel dough with bacon bits and they even had vegan cheese! My man got the breakfast egg sandwich which he absolutely loved as well! The prices are competitive if not maybe a bit lower for the area. The spot has a deli feel too it with some seats inside and pink picnic tables outside. Super fun and inviting! Go check this place out when you're in the area! It's worth it!

This has easily become one of our fav spots for bagels AND pizza! Bagels + Slice has been around for 3 years now and they're making fresh bagels that are rolled, boiled, and baked-in house. They're not only experts in bagels, but pizza as well! This is the same team that's been serving up Olio in DTLA for the past 14 years so you know they're doing pizza right. They also are brewing fresh coffee in-house as well! Everything we ordered: --Avocado ABC Bagel (that chili crisp ) --Breakfast Bagel Pocket --Bagel Pizzette (our fav!) --Slices of pizza: Hawaiian, Wild Mushroom & Crispy Prosciutto, Burrata Basil, & Chicken Meatball Basil and Onion --Cold Brew --Latte --Pistachio Matcha Latte

My husband and I disagree on their pizza but I enjoy it very much and I'm writing this review. I've tried the slices, the bagel pizza and whole pizzas, plus their yum, kale ceaser salad. Love the pepperoni. All version from 18" to personal bagel pizzas hit the spot and what keep me coming back for a quick bite. There's a lot of pizza joints in town but I like that they use fresh, quality ingredients. They also keep the kids at OXY employeed and I love sitting outside on York and grabbing a slice and watching the passerby's...and well I just enjoy it. Easy, quick, yum!

Here at Bagel + Slice, everything is so nice, especially their breakfast sandwiches, loaded pizzas and lattes with the coolest art. Their bagels are rolled, boiled, and baked in-house, and is right up there at being one of the best in his city @bagelandslice 's pizza selections make it hard to pick just one, so luckily you can order by the slice and have multiple options Don't miss out! We had: Egg Sandwich, Breakfast Bagel Pocket, ‍Mushroom Pizza, Carne Asada Pizza, Latte

Bagel + Slice Pizza Shop is one of those rare spots that does both bagels and pizza incredibly well! I stopped in not knowing what to expect, but left seriously impressed. The bagels are fresh, chewy, and perfectly toasted. Whether you're going classic with cream cheese or going all in with one of their sandwiches, you can't go wrong. I had the egg & cheese on everything--absolutely delicious. Later in the day, I grabbed a slice of their pepperoni pizza and wow... legit New York-style slice with a crispy, thin crust and flavorful sauce. You can tell they're serious about quality ingredients. Staff is super friendly and the vibe inside is warm and inviting. Whether you're in for breakfast or a late-night bite, Bagel + Slice delivers every time. Great neighborhood spot--definitely one of my go-to places in LA now!

The shop was listed in the LA Times' "25 of the Best Bagel Shops in Los Angeles" in 2025. Their bagels are made using a Japanese baking technique called tangzhong (using pre-cooked flour in the mix). [Parking]: The shop is located in a plaza with a free underground parking garage. There were few available spots at 10 AM on Sunday. [Ordering]: There was a waiting line and customers ordered via a kiosk. Once the order was ready, customers picked it up at the counter. 1. Another perfect Los Angeles day. Woke up and the weather outside was yanking me out of bed…read more Before I could even put my clothes on, I could feel Jess & Kora on the other side. Waiting for me. Waiting for us to get lunch at Belle's. Life was good. But what's even better than good? Great. Life was about to be great. 2. On the way in I saw a strange man outside wearing sunglasses. He looked at me. Friend or foe? I ran through a list of my options. Run. Stand my ground. Kiss. But then I realized I recognized him. This wasn't a stranger. This was a friend. 3. "Hey," I said. "Hey," he said back at me. Casey. We knew each other. I mentioned I was about to dine at Belle's and he immediately complimented the establishment. "Do you know who Harry Mack is?" I told him I didn't. "He's a freestyle rapper on tiktok. I saw him eating here once. I told him I like his videos when we were both in the bathroom." In the bathroom? Or in the line for the bathroom? I didn't follow up with any questions and left the conversation bewildered. 4. I sat down inside, waiting for Jess & Kora. We had eaten here together many times and this excited me. Nothing quite like eating lunch with your friends. The only thing better would be if you were getting massages from beautiful men and women. The thought brought a smile to my face. The kind of smile that hurts your cheeks so much that you wish pain was only temporary. 5. Jess showed up. Shortly after Kora did as well. The boys were back at it again. I looked around. I could tell everybody was aware of who we were and what we were doing. I even caught a stray look from a table of three men that was tinged with a tear. Jealous of the friendship we so effortlessly commanded. It was as if we were massaging each other's minds with our words. This is the kind of experience one can expect while in the presence of Zed C. from Yelp. The kind of experience you read online and think is fake but is actually realer than reality. The kind of experience that can only be contained with two slices of bagel. 6. From the jump, we were talking Area 51. The laughs were as plentiful as the refills on our cups of coffee (frequent!) But the happiness could only take us so far. It was only a matter of time until we began looking at the walls and the photos that covered them. Photos of people, of bagels, of everything that wasn't... us. There wasn't a photo on the wall of us. Zed C. from Yelp and Jess & Kora. I don't believe in divine justice, but we do what we can to form some level of fairness in a galaxy bent on chaos. Entropy consumes us all but... if Belle's could put a photograph of the three of us on their wall... maybe hope isn't just a false promise of what's to come. Maybe life could exceed great and become... excellent. The same tear I saw in the stranger's eye populated Jess' eye. Kora's eye. & mine as well. We shut our eyes and pretended that this moment never happened. The boys were back at it once again! 7. Our food arrived. I had ordered the ECA, the egg, cheese and avocado mash bagel. Everything. At home I only get plain because the seeds go everywhere making my kitchen into a literal hellscape. Here at Belle's? I indulge myself. So what if a seed doesn't land on the plate. They'll clean it up. They always do. It's why we keep coming back. That and the quality of the food. The ECA is encased in a god-tier bagel with the type of eggs that are so fluffy you could've sworn you bit into a cloud. Every bite is a reminder of the strength of modern civilization and the many sacrifices we make to be a part of something bigger (and tastier) than our own selves. 8. Eventually the conversation spilled over the edge and one of us waved a server down. One that we were friendly with. "How can we get our photo on the wall?" She wasn't receptive. But she offered a possibility... "We could put a mirror on the wall and you'd see yourself on the wall." Jess laughed loudly and as she left he told us, "She thinks we're stupid." & you know what? If she did we'd be okay with it. Because that's the type of guys we are. We roll with the punches and get down with the lunches. 9. I'd like to quickly respond to the review written by "S A." in which they said "This place is NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY" because they were forced to wait in line like everybody else. Because of their "hungry kids" they wanted everybody else to get behind them. Sounds like your "family" isn't RESTAURANT FRIENDLY. Maybe it's about time you got in line and learned to respect the rules of the culinary tradition known as "waiting until it's your turn". 10. I left Belle's feeling better than I did when I walked in. I was refreshed, I was quenched. I patted my belly and let out a sigh. Life was great. It was all downhill from here. Then I turned around and looked at Belle's. A reminder of what was to come. The boys would be back at it once again. I smiled a final time. This time it was permanent. I've never stopped smiling since.

Herby mayo, hot sweet peppers had a hint of spice, pastrami was soft and not too salty, egg was fluffy. It was a good bagel sandwich. However, I don't think I'd reorder this. LATKE Crispy and savory. The sourcream and apple sauce together was delicious. Absolutely loved the apple sauce, which had a beautiful texture and sweetness that was addictive. The star was the applesauce! SALT BAGEL, EVERYTHING BAGEL, CACIO E PEPE, EVERYTHING PUMPERNICKEL BAGEL All of the untoasted bagels except the Cacio e Pepe, had a firm outer texture, a bit hard to tear apart with hands. Inside the bagels were dense, yet had a light chewy texture and not dry either. Toasted, they were even better. The outer crust was beautifully crispy and the inside bagel was soft and chewy. The beet cream cheese was delicious with all the bagels! Cacio e Pepe was soft all around, unlike the other bagels. Cacio e Pepe had a light cheese and black pepper crust. It wasn't full of cacio e pepe flavor right off the bat, but still enough to know what you're eating. If you ate only the top bagel, I think you'll get the best of this bagel. Still good all around, even toasted. I think it will be great as a bagel sandwich. Everything Pumpernickle had a good pumpernickle flavor in addition to the everything seasonings. They did not skimp on the seasonings! Every inch of that bagel was covered in seasonings! Favorite Bagels: Salt Bagel, Everything Bagel BEET CREAM CHEESE Delicious! Smooth, creamy, almost buttery! This is whipped cream cheese with roasted beet puree. Light in beet flavor, it had dill in it too. I was hesitant in getting a tub because it was on the pricier side. But it was so good, glad I got it! SEATS / AMBIANCE It had a lovely East Coast diner feel when walking in. But still, the space felt a bit cluttered. There were booths, counter seats and outdoor seats too. It was packed inside on a Wednesday lunch. Got there before noon. CUSTOMER SERVICE Overall good, friendly service. Staff was smiling and that's always a good thing! Went on a Wednesday before noon, but it was nearly packed. PARKING Horrible. Just horrible. Street parking only. There's a few spots directly in front of Belle's, but it's metered parking too and also it was full. It's parking that always makes or breaks your experience when driving to LA. After driving around to find a decent parking spot, I finally found one close to Belle's, but after parking, I realized it was a loading zone. So hurried to get my food to go and just ate in the car. Overall, I enjoyed the bagels here and would love to return for their bagels and lunch offerings.

The bagel shop is pretty small (maybe two small tables built into the side to sit at) but it smells like lovely fresh baked bread. I ordered online and the system said it would take 30 minutes but I came in maybe 10 min after ordering and it was already done. If you order online and live close, I would just head over because they might have your order ready then. To order your bagel online with spread, write the details of the bagels (what type of bagel you want, the type of meat, etc.) in the "notes" portion.

I ordered a basic jalepeno/cheddar based bagel with the jalapeno cream spread. This was Around $6.50 cents in 2026. Right off the back, I noticed the size of the bagel. It was smaller than expected. It was a little hardened too instead of bouncy/doughy -- my preference. The bagel had a few half-cut jalapenos, but it was imbedded a little too deep in the surface, when the bagel shouldn't be afraid to unleash those beauties and let it dazzle for all of us to see! The thing carrying the bagel was the absolutely delicious spread. Instead of a white creamery spread, it was It was creamy and cheddary in color too ! The spicy kick made the schmear finger licking good. Honestly, I'd rather come back here and purchase solely the schmear. It was excellent. Too bad the bagel was about as average it was gonna get. $6.50 is way too much as well!

He is honestly the best thing to happen to Boichik Bagels! He's so sweet, attentive, charismatic, and genuinely seems to care about both his work and the people coming in. I've definitely started coming by more often thanks to Chris and his uplifting attitude. He really makes the place feel welcoming. And the bagels themselves... WOW. The onion and garlic bagels are SO good, and the chive cream cheese is incredible. I'm absolutely obsessed. Thank you, Chris, for making the experience so much better every time I stop by!

Well, at least he is honest, but shouldn't you know the menu if someone is trying to order off of it? Not the Russ and Daughters experience I had last month. Much more superior there. For a good bagel in LA, try Bonjour Bagels..

In comparison to other bagel shops in LA, this spot falls right in the middle. Unfortunately, what…read morereally holds it back is the price point and the overwhelming hype--both from long lines and TikTok buzz--that doesn't quite match the experience. The scale tips more toward the downside when it comes to the bagels themselves. The toppings aren't particularly unique, or consistent, and the bagel had a noticeably firm texture that didn't stand out in a good way. What initially drew me in--and ultimately prompted this review, my first review--was the coffee. After trying 50+ coffee shops over the past 2 years alone, I can honestly say this was one of the more disappointing lattes I've had. I ordered a whole milk latte, and the best way to describe it is simply: watery. It wasn't milk-forward, not sweet, and surprisingly not even very coffee-forward. Instead, it had a slightly herbal, almost oily, burnt-bean flavor that felt diluted with water. I also ordered the carrot cake latte, which had the same base issue. The carrot cake foam helped mask it a bit, but it tasted more like a strong sugar cookie flavor than anything close to carrot cake. In the end, giving grace, perhaps it was just a "bad barista day". Overall, it's not terrible--but definitely not worth the hype or the price. *If visiting on the weekend arrive before 9:30 to beat the line if you dare.*

Will absolutely come back!
