Ordered the Avocado ABC and iced pistachio matcha and a slice of pepperoni pizza. The bagel was delicious. Although it may be in the pricer end they do add a generous amount of toppings which is appreciated. Bagels are cream cheese heavy which is my preference, so i personally love them, if you like a lot of cream cheese then definitely try any of their bagels! There is great flavor on these bagels, we ordered them with their house made scallion cream cheese. Pizza slice was okay! Nothing crazy, definitely enjoyed the bagels more. Iced matcha was not good, it was powdery and extremely watery, tasted mostly like milk. Service was great! There is inside and outside seating, although it

If you love bagels and pizza, you're goint to love Bagel+Slice. Every bite tastes like it was made with care (because it is!). Their bagels are hand-rolled, boiled, and baked the old-school way. The ABC Avocado Bagel was so fresh and satisfying. The pizza? WOW. I tried the spicy sausage & peppers and the margherita, both had the perfect chewy crust (made with heritage wheat!), bold flavors, and quality toppings. Don't even get me started on the drinks... pistachio matcha latte? Game changer. And the tiramisu ... Worth it. Great vibes, friendly team, and a super solid menu. 10/10 recommend.

I'm so appreciative of the delicious gluten-free bagel options! And they have some nice presentations for the bagels as well. I'd like to go back and try gluten-free pizza.

We used the Too Good To Go App on Sunday night and we were excited for our surprise, but while we were waiting the pepperoni pizza was speaking to V, so I ordered him a slice. I noticed they had a gluten free bagel on the menu but wasn't in the mood for anything at the time. Kid was pleased with his slice. I was happy about the service and cleanliness of the spot. It was a nice touch to see Highland Park done like the subway in NYC. It made me feel reminiscent. It seemed a bit expensive for a slice of pepperoni at $4 something, but with that said it's been a long time since I've regularly bought one. Ultimately kid was happy.

4 stars for not bad bagels. Also an important member of the community for sustainability. 0 stars for the $10 tub of salmon lox spread that was clearly spoiled and sour to taste. I called there business to confirm if the spread is supposed to taste this way and they doubled down saying yes instead of admitting they made a mistake. My tongue is still numb from the spread while I'm writing this review. I would advise the business to clearly mark the containers of fresh food with Best By Dates as none of them had any information.

Came by as a recommendation by a friend, I don't realize what I was missing. Serving bagels and pizza, there are a variety of items to consider. The bagels are soft and fresh. I like loading mine with regular traditional cream cheese. The sausage and peppers have a serious kick, layered with spicy sausage and a combination of peppers. The items are on display at the front counter with a clear view of the kitchen to see how the manic happens. Both the bagel and pizza slice were brought to me within a few minutes, quick service.

The pizza is ok and a bit expensive for a single slice. I had a Hawaiian slice which had plenty of pineapple and a good crust, but the cheese just wasn't doing it for me. I'll need to come back and try the bagels, since they were out of the ones I really intended to try here. Service was friendly and the decide was cute, if a bit pink for my taste.

Great spot on York ave that I have been curious about for a while. Yesterday my man and I were out shopping and decided to stop here for a quick bite. The service is top notch. They are super sweet and accommodating to your needs. The menu is large with many different options to choose from. I chose the breakfast special pizzette which is an egg on top of a bagel dough with bacon bits and they even had vegan cheese! My man got the breakfast egg sandwich which he absolutely loved as well! The prices are competitive if not maybe a bit lower for the area. The spot has a deli feel too it with some seats inside and pink picnic tables outside. Super fun and inviting! Go check this place out when you're in the area! It's worth it!

This has easily become one of our fav spots for bagels AND pizza! Bagels + Slice has been around for 3 years now and they're making fresh bagels that are rolled, boiled, and baked-in house. They're not only experts in bagels, but pizza as well! This is the same team that's been serving up Olio in DTLA for the past 14 years so you know they're doing pizza right. They also are brewing fresh coffee in-house as well! Everything we ordered: --Avocado ABC Bagel (that chili crisp ) --Breakfast Bagel Pocket --Bagel Pizzette (our fav!) --Slices of pizza: Hawaiian, Wild Mushroom & Crispy Prosciutto, Burrata Basil, & Chicken Meatball Basil and Onion --Cold Brew --Latte --Pistachio Matcha Latte

My husband and I disagree on their pizza but I enjoy it very much and I'm writing this review. I've tried the slices, the bagel pizza and whole pizzas, plus their yum, kale ceaser salad. Love the pepperoni. All version from 18" to personal bagel pizzas hit the spot and what keep me coming back for a quick bite. There's a lot of pizza joints in town but I like that they use fresh, quality ingredients. They also keep the kids at OXY employeed and I love sitting outside on York and grabbing a slice and watching the passerby's...and well I just enjoy it. Easy, quick, yum!

Here at Bagel + Slice, everything is so nice, especially their breakfast sandwiches, loaded pizzas and lattes with the coolest art. Their bagels are rolled, boiled, and baked in-house, and is right up there at being one of the best in his city @bagelandslice 's pizza selections make it hard to pick just one, so luckily you can order by the slice and have multiple options Don't miss out! We had: Egg Sandwich, Breakfast Bagel Pocket, ‍Mushroom Pizza, Carne Asada Pizza, Latte

Courage Bagels is a cute little corner spot with a bumping line even 30 minutes before closing. Despite having just had lunch, my friend and I decided to stop by and pick up some bagels. I ordered the Alaskan roe bagel as well as a plain onion bagel with a side of cream cheese. There is no seating inside, but they have a cute covered outdoor area and a water stand. The bagels are phenomenal. If you go inside to use the washroom, you'll see the fresh bagel-making in action. They have a whole old-fashioned assembly line with the orders hanging from a string. While the texture is crunchy on the outside, the bagel is incredibly soft and chewy on the inside. You can tell these are handmade bagels. My friend enjoyed the roe on a sea salt sesame bagel and said it was tasty and fresh. I found the onion bagel a tad burnt on the outside, but the texture was still amazing. As another review says, yes, I would give them my money again. See you next time, Courage Bagels!

SALT BAGEL, EVERYTHING BAGEL, CACIO E PEPE, EVERYTHING PUMPERNICKEL BAGEL All of the untoasted bagels except the Cacio e Pepe, had a firm outer texture, a bit hard to tear apart with hands. Inside the bagels were dense, yet had a light chewy texture and not dry either. Toasted, they were even better. The outer crust was beautifully crispy and the inside bagel was soft and chewy. The beet cream cheese was delicious with all the bagels! Cacio e Pepe was soft all around, unlike the other bagels. Cacio e Pepe had a light cheese and black pepper crust. It wasn't full of cacio e pepe flavor right off the bat, but still enough to know what you're eating. If you ate only the top bagel, I think you'll get the best of this bagel. There were booths, counter seats and outdoor seats too. It was packed inside on a Wednesday lunch. Got there before noon. CUSTOMER SERVICE Overall good, friendly service. Staff was smiling and that's always a good thing! Went on a Wednesday before noon, but it was nearly packed. PARKING Horrible. Just horrible. Street parking only. There's a few spots directly in front of Belle's, but it's metered parking too and also it was full. It's parking that always makes or breaks your experience when driving to LA. After driving around to find a decent parking spot, I finally found one close to Belle's, but after parking, I realized it was a loading zone. So hurried to get my food to go and just ate in the car. The onion and garlic bagels are SO good, and the chive cream cheese is incredible. I'm absolutely obsessed. Thank you, Chris, for making the experience so much better every time I stop by!

Boichik Bagels gets a lot of things right... and a lot of things wrong. Let me explain--…read more My date and I arrived and ordered a regular bagel with hatch cream cheese for her and an onion classic with lox, tomato, onion and capers for me. We take our number and go sit and wait at the small blue tables outside like most everyone else. Strike one was their being out of fresh made orange juice, something that should NEVER happen at a bagel purveyor... oh, and my coffee? Was only technically that. Seriously. It tasted more like tea to the point that I questioned whether or not they in fact got my order wrong and it was that. Flavorless. (2/10) I like my salmon bagel and the ratios were pretty on point with there being maybe just a tad too much cream cheese. For $20, this was what I expected and I appreciated the quality olive oil drizzled over the quality ingredients to keep it all moist. Loved the tomato and capers. It's a big meal and half of it went home for later. (8/10) My date's bagel was a nightmare though. Thick wedge of cream cheese on a barely toasted bagel, she had to wipe half of it off just to eat it. And as for this being a "hatch cream cheese?" Like calling my brown water broth 'coffee,' I'd suggest that it only technically met up to the definition: there were 2-3 little chunks of hatch chile. Seriously. Two or three. The white cream cheese hardly had any smell or taste of hatch chile. I know as I ate the other half she took home. Dispel any fantasy you might be harboring of that cool, greenish cream cheese with real chunks of smoked hatch chiles because that doesn't exist here. (2/10) So there you have it. For close to $40 when you factor in tax and tip? This was barely a 3 star bagel experience. Order with care and intention.
