There were a few good experiences before. But i always had the feeling that the staff was not really friendly and they just had to do their work. And today was horrible. I was craving for their popcorn chicken and fries and i came in at 9 30 pm while it says it closes at 10. The girl told me with a rather cold tone that they do not provide food after 9 pm. What the hell? Why that's not specified anywhere? If you know you don't offer food after 9 then you should specify that on yelp. And the girl and the other two guys looked really tired and annoyed when i came in. (i don't get why they don't do food after 9 given that they have three staff and just me as the only one customer. ) They need to know people drive to get food and it's basic courtesy to be respectful. The girl didn't even say sorry. I am really upset this time.Maybe consider changing the staff! I get people have moods sometimes but you don't deserve respect if you don't show yours. read more

Went there on 3/9/24 around 6:16pm. Savannah D. Took my order of 2 amazing almond bowls. I received my order with filled only half way through fruits including. When asked why is it only halfway through they responded in a very ignorant way that thats the recipe. I have been coming here for years never received such a service. read more

I've been to many It's Boba Time locations and this one is by far the worst. All of the drinks I've tried at this location tasted like they were missing an ingredient or two. They're bland and not as tasty/sweet as other locations. I suggest that the franchise re-train their staff from top to bottom to make the drinks taste consistent. read more

I ordered a Tiger Sugar Milk Tea and intended to pay for it with a Boba Time gift card I had. The guy who took my order tried running it thru the card reader a couple of times, but it didn't work and he told me that the gift card had expired, which surprised me. The guy seemed new so I didn't want to make a big deal out of it and also because there were customers behind me, so I ended up paying with cash. I know I still had a balance on the gift card so that shouldn't have been an issue, but do Boba Time gift cards really have expiration dates? I hope the guy wasn't just feeding me a line because he didn't know how to deal with gift cards and was afraid to ask for help. read more

Great spot for boba milk tea. LOTS of options including my favorite which is so difficult to find - almond milk tea and a pretty good one at that. The staff was also very accommodating with changing the sweetness of my moms drink (rose milk tea). They also had several food options with several cheesecake flavors (that looked delicious) and savory options like popcorn chicken and fries. All in all, great quick boba milk tea spot with LOTS of options and some quick sweet/savory bites as well as very nice and helpful staff. My kid loves this place!! We've legit been here almost daily since we found out it was opened. Today, we're here again, so was the health department. They have a solid A!! The employees are super friendly. So far everything I've tried has been great - shaved ice, taro milk tea, coconut strawberry smoothie, strawberry matcha.. I'll continue trying other flavors. This place has horrible customer service, I understand this is a difficult time but it's not an excuse to treat your customers disrespectfully. I usually order this type of drink from two different locations close to my house, the other one is called Boba loca (on Montrose Ave.) I would say they are super professional compare to this place. Normally, I love coming to this Boba Time location for their drinks and really nice crew. However, tonight's crew was awful. I went in to get macarons and wasn't sure how many I wanted. I didn't catch her name, but the girl working the register was really unprofessional and rude. With a head tilt and a lot of sass, she asked "how many macarons are you gonna get?" and when I said that I wasn't sure, since I literally just started my order, she then said "well we have box sizes over there" and pointed to the wall. While ordering, I noticed one of the guys come from the back and whisper something to her, then both of them laughed. Now, I can't say they were talking about me, but at the same time, could they have been more obvious? I'll be frank- I get that working in the food industry can be difficult sometimes since you have terrible customers. I mean, I get frustrated when I deal with those customers, too. I work in the food industry as well, but I would NEVER treat a customer this way for no actual reason. If the girl working the register is reading this- I get it. You're just a boba barista and you couldn't care any less about your job. That was awful customer service. read more

I really like Boba time I especially like to make an order on UBEReats and go pick up when it's ready! Unfortunately this isn't how it works at this store! For some reason even when you place an order to go pick it up once it shows it is ready on your app, once you walk in to pick up your order the cashier tells you to wait outside until we call you to pick up the order. So basically the ordering on you app is pointless because even when I place an order in advance I still have to go wait another 10 minutes outside until it is finished being made! Not good ! I love Boba Time and this new location is fantastic. The boba is cooked perfectly, never too soft and never with a hard center. The consistency of the frappe is good - not too thick and not too runny. My favorite is the green tea frappe with boba. If I could give this location 0 stars I would. Customer service is horrible. The workers here are extremely slow and anytime I've been here they've been hanging out in the back not working. Last time I waited 10 minutes for them to only forget about the drink I ordered and paid for.
