Me and my friend went here 20 minutes before closing all I wanted was a Jasmine tea or passion tea with boba, however, I was told that they were out, and they only had the blended drinks. It's hard to find decent boba in this area. I always have to drive to Cerritos but this certainly hits the spot. It's not super "authentic" and their milk tea isn't the best but it satisfies the craving when necessary. I usually go for sweeter smoothies at boba time since the milk tea isn't the best. I'm a huge boba snob/fan so it was a pleasant surprise. The service is great. During the COVID 19 time, it's refreshing to see a business actually adhere to social distance policies instead of just letting anyone and everyone in. I totally underestimated "It's Boba Time", honestly never felt like trying it. Proved me wrong! Their menu is very varied. From Boba to Juices to Açaí Bowls! Oh yeah, also macarons as well. Our order: Rose Matcha drink: at half sweet, it was the perfect combination. Also, first time seeing rose mixed with matcha. They also have pistachio matcha. Might try that next time. Earl Grey milk tea: they brewed the tea bags on the spot! I was surprised they did that, but I'm glad. They forgot to add sweetness to my drink at first, so they gladly made a new one with my requested half sweet. They could had of course just taken the drink and added sweetness, but wouldn't be right considering covid and everything. Thanks for doing that :) Roasted Oolong Milk Tea: they also forgot the sweetness but it's okay. The oolong flavor is there! Rewards program: They have their own app and the rewards program is run from there. You also get a 20% off your first order! You can online order through the app and just go and pick up. We were so excited for it to be brought to our neighborhood as all of their drinks are made to perfection. Honestly not a bad boba spot. It isn't the best but by far not bad either. I'm glad to finally have one that is close by and offers a variety of non-dairy options. Service was fast and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back to try more of their boba teas! I really enjoyed the coffee mik tea which was fresh and they used non-dairy creamer. Love the boba here but recently the macaroons up front taste like SOAP. My daughter ate one and didn't like it and when I tasted it, it tasted like the smell of cleaner. My friend ordered some today & SAME THING. It was mentioned that someone was there cleaning the case today affirming what we had tasted. Decided to go with the Taro boba- Brown Sugar boba- Milk Tea boba and Thai Tea boba. Made our phone order, fairly easy. Friendly customer service on the phone and in store when picking up. My order was ready at the time I asked for on the phone. I wish I could have paid over the phone or online so I could walk it and out faster. We really enjoyed the Taro and Brown Sugar boba the most. I may be a bit biased and picky about my boba milk tea but the taro milk tea tasted a bit too powdery for my taste. I couldn't really taste any tea in it, which is disappointing. The flavors are more artificial than I'm used to. The boba itself had a good taste and chew, but I couldn't get over the taste of the tea. Having lived in Alhambra, where there are boba places everywhere, I may just have to continue going that way for my milk tea. Maybe their other drinks are good, and I may consider ordering from their non-milk tea selection but I wouldn't call their milk teas, milk teas. Maybe just milk. read more

I just went to Boba Time right now and I walk in at 9:30 pm.. I was ready to place my order while all the employees were standing around acting busy. Then they tell me that they were closed for Father's Day, but the Open sign was on and the doors were unlocked for customers to walk in. Hours said they closed at 10pm. This place is pretty good but lately it's been a hit and miss. I usually order the Chocolate shake but it's lacking chocolate flavor. It looks chocolatey but don't be fooled it's not. I switched to the Chocolate Oreo shake same experience so I now ask for extra Oreo. A really great place! I'm posting this late review because I want to applaud the employees for allowing me to add Strawberries and Bananas to my cookies and cream shake. And they did a PERFECT job! It tastes really good! The customer service is great everyone was friendly and the environment was calming. This one girl complimneted my shirt while i was waiting too. Despite waiting for a good 8 minutes for my drinks. It did not take much of my patience considering Sunday was a very busy day for everybody. This place may not be perfect but it surely aims to be. Low quality service !!! The workers there are very rude and unprofessional. The girls working in the back ( all brunettes ) were gossiping which made me and my partner feel uncomfortable. They also did not follow covid guidelines by wearing their mask correctly. They also took a long time to make our drinks because they were having a conversation and it did not even come out good. I have been going for 1 week straight and they always close before 10:00pm when it specifically says they close at 10:00pm. There's always people outside when I go around 9:00pm and it's closed. Their machine was down today and only had very limited options, the employee told me they were going to close early it was like 8:30pm. Employee was shocked when I told her I had been coming at night and it was always closed. They also start cleaning up really early before it is even time to close. Where is the manager?
