The monster Mac so flavorful and good. The Oreo cheesecake was amazing and satisfied my sweet tooth. I really enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak. The greens were amazing and seasoned to the gods. The fish plate was okay, good but probably my least favorite of all the items. I still devoured it!

Supposedly a The "Vhilly" Cheesesteak but was a cut up impossible burger patty

The greens were very good! However, the "fish patty's were terrible. The supposedly cheese steak sandwich wasn't impossible burger, barely chopped up with little seasoning. but and also barely filled up the sub bread. The fries were definitely great value seasoned French cut fries. The cornbread is an absolute no I can't even describe it... I'm all for supporting small and black owned businesses, but I am absolutely mind blown at the poor quality of the food and the fact that this business is open. $40 wasted!

Fish sandwich tastes like the real deal. I ordered yams but unfortunately they ran out. The kale greens were bomb though. The young man working there was friendly and very apologetic when I ordered yams just as they ran out. The spot is clean with a good amount of tables. Only reason I'm giving 4/5 is because of the Yama situation. But it's really great food.

For starters this was me and my kiddos first time visiting an all vegan restaurant! When i tell you everything was vegan and everything was incredible, man. So walking in me and my people didn't know what to expect but the service from Cj set the tone! There was diversity, plenty of seating, cool vibes and from that moment on i just knew the food would be top tier. When i ordered everything i even double checked about the "bacon" that came on my ITSO burger because i am 90% pescatarian and i absolutely don't eat pork or beef and rest assured as advertised EVERYTHING IS VEGAN ahaha. Although it took some time which is always a good sign they make everything fresh to order plus with it being busy lunch hour everything came out fantastic. i look forward to returning with friends and trying a couple more different options. So glad this gem is noted in my book!

Why this place wasn't busier I have no idea. Food was excellent. I had Mac and cheese which was amazing along with some greens and cornbread. I also got a piece of cheesecake and ate it later (delicious!) because I was so full after my lunch. Friendly staff and plenty of parking.

I enjoyed the cabbage however thought the greens were a tad sweet. This was my third time as they ran out of the veggies I wanted.

Ask the Community - ITSO Vegan

Anyone know what their hours will be for 12/31 and 1/1?

Do they have any gluten free options?

I talked with the staff and the answer they gave was not at this time do they offer gluten free items. When and if they do in the future I can repost.

I couldn't let this day go by without giving a shoutout to one of my favorite vegan restaurants!…read more Let's start by the vibes!! They are so on point. Everyone is friendly, upbeat and joyful! The music never disappoint AT ALL!!! I recommend them fully to anyone who is vegan and wants authentic Mexican cuisine. I had Chips & Beyond Meat Queso as an appetizer and for my main dish the Birria Brisket and Chili Nachos. My homie had the Crunchy Chimichanga. We also had the Mango Lemonade and Regular Lemonade which is not shown in this video. Review Time!!! Let me say every time I come to Casa Del Vegano I have to get the Chips & Beyond Meat Queso! The flavors are ALWAYS on point. I sometimes have to question myself on if it's really not meat or actual cheese. They have this season on the chips that ignites the flavor even more. The Birria Brisket and Chili Nachos, let me tell ya OMG it's enough to feed at least 2 people. The nachos were flavorful, savory and delicious!! This is my 2nd time in life tasting jackfruit and it gave me the brisket feel of food. My mouth just waters when I talk about it. (Just Greedy LOL). The overall meal was a 10/10. Let me not forget about them lemonades, it was so good I had to order one to go! Overall Experience 10/10!!! This place used to be the penultimate in delicious vegan Chinese food. The best Pho in town (really…read morethat I've ever eaten). We didn't get to go very often, once every two or three months, because they're about an hour and a half away from where we live, but we always made time when we were in Dallas to eat at D'Vegan. It's been several months since we ate there last and it was still excellent and our absolute favorite at that time. We thought it would be our last because we planned to move out of state but our plans were postponed. Now that we're again getting ready to leave Texas we made a point to go eat their pho before we left. What a huge, heartbreaking disappointment! It's hard to even describe how different the pho was from the lovely, huge, absolutely perfect dish it used to be. This disappointing (tiny) bowl had two types of noodles (one undercooked), in a practically tasteless vegan chicken broth, some sprouts and parsley (!). I had to ask for additional vegetables and they only offered broccoli and carrots. Gone were the lovely radishes, snap peas mushrooms and onions. Gone was the mint and lime. The broth tasted more like water than broth. But the worst, absolutely saddest, part were the two puny slices of tofu, and some kind of horrendous, slimy, pink soy protein that was tougher to eat than calamari, with a slightly disgusting mouthfeel. Good thing the bowl the soup was in was less than half the size of the previous incarnation. We had never had the crispy vegan eggroll before so we ordered that as an appetizer. Out of the kitchen comes the two saddest looking eggrolls I've ever seen. They could not have been more than an inch in diameter and maybe 3" long. They did a little better with the spring rolls in terms of portion size. What had been two large spring rolls full of tofu, mint, sprouts and veggies had turned into four 2" wraps with noodles and some parsley wrapped in the toughest rice wrap I've ever had the misadventure to eat. At least they couldn't mess up the jasmine tea. I can't explain how sad we were that our favorite, exalted, amazing D'Vegan had turned into whatever that was. Maybe the rice dishes would be better? I don't recommend anyone go to this place. Now we need to go to "Pho is for Lovers" on Greenville Avenue to get our pho fix before we leave Texas.

We had a good dinner (albeit expensive) and I'm sure we'll dine here again if we are in the area. We were in the area on one of the 100+ degree weather days we have sooo been enjoying (sarcasm) and wanted somewhere with 'lite' options for our early dinner. It has been years since I had True Food last and remembered it being tasty. Hubby and I were sat quickly and our server was really friendly and always smiling. We ordered a starter from the seasonal menu, watermelon haloumi salad, which was an excellent REFRESHING beginning. It really cooled us off , if you can believe it, after being in the heat all afternoon. I want to recreate that dish at home and eat it everyday, but I don't think I would get the dressing right. For our entrees, we were feeling like burgers - I ordered the Turkey burger (oh my it was delicious - the best seasoned turkey burger I've had - not bland or dry at all!) and hubby ordered the All American (and it was cooked just as he ordered it medium - shocking!!). I ordered the Simple Salad as my side and although the greens and cucumbers were fresh and the dressing was scrumptious, there was a bit too much dressing which made the greens go limp quickly. Hubby requested the air-fried French fries and they were lack luster - some cooked too much (burnt) and others still raw; not sure how that was possible - maybe they loaded too many in at once??? I ordered one of the zero-proof cocktails and was really surprised at had good it was. I'm even going to look for the tequila that was used so we can make them at home - it was called the Spicy Clean Margarita - yummy!! Service was a bit slow but I think that was because of the time of day we were dining - 4pm; the servers were prepping the empty tables for dinner service so they were a bit distracted.

I had been there once before back in 2016, though I do not remember if it was this location or another one, and I do not remember what I ordered then. In any case, it was nice to go back and try it again. This time, I ordered the TX Hot Chik'n. The sandwich was crispy and flavorful, with a good mix of BBQ and buffalo sauce. The pickles, lettuce, mayo, and sesame bun all worked well together, and it was filling without feeling too heavy. My friend ordered the Jamaican Jerk San'ich and enjoyed it. It had bold seasoning and a good savory flavor, so it was a solid choice if you want something with a little more spice and personality. The "Jerk" spelled with mayo on the bun and the backwards "R" was a cute touch. Overall, Spiral Diner had a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and it is a good lunch spot in Fort Worth whether you are vegan or just interested in trying plant-based comfort food. I was happy to have had the chance to go back and hopefully will be able to return more frequently whenever I am in town.
