I never realized that it's located so close to the movie theater and Meijer Gardens! I would absolutely stop over there before or after going to one of those. There's ample parking and it's within the general area of the movie theater. The spot itself has a good amount of seating and some of the coolest decor. There is a massive wooden art piece detailing history which is so fun to just sit and read. The staff was more than friendly and polite. They gave us some really helpful information and recommendations for drinks. We didn't end up eating any of the food but the honeycomb dessert looked incredible and my boss has said that the spinach pie is amazing. I really loved my strawberry matcha! The drink was beautiful and tasted really great!

Overall, everything was solid. The Qishr was good, though I think it could have used a bit more kick. Aside from that, the coffee was excellent and the rest of what we tried did not disappoint. I also had an organic mango juice, which was fresh (even though it came in a bottle) and really enjoyable.

This review is solely on my experience and not the integrity of the bagel itself. I was fascinated when a colleague recommended this place in Rockford for breakfast and I had no idea what to expect when I pulled up to an old home. When I walked in, I was greeted with delicious coffee aromas being ground while people were buying pounds of fresh ground beans. I was confused about the ordering process, but friendly customers explained the procedure. First, you get in line and pick your drink and order a customizable bagel. I picked a sandwich because I was hungry, so I opted for a full on sandwich. I chose an onion bagel with house-made smoked and sliced roast beef, egg, pepper Jack cheese, horseradish sauce, onion, tomato, and lettuce. Yum! The bagels are homemade and on the smaller side so I was able to scarf down the whole sandwich whilst enjoying a large NOLA coffee brew. All of this came to under $10. A great value and interesting experience. After, ordering you can find a seat and they come find you to come back to the counter to pay. You only pay when your food is ready. Then its cafe seat yourself territory. They also have random items for sale and interesting curiosities hidden in the nooks and crannies of this space. Certainly worth a visit based on vibes and price point alone. the food did not disappoint. Smoked meats for the win!

Unfortunately, my visit (weekday around 9:30 am) was a letdown. I was the only one in line, yet I stood there for several minutes without being acknowledged. The staff seemed more focused on their tasks (cutting a kiwi and making coffee) than on greeting or even informing me they'd be with me shortly. I had to walk out without making a purchase. I'll give this place another try, hoping my next experience will be better, as I truly want to enjoy it.

It was very large for its prince (Speaking in normal rates for Boba tea these days) As they were sadly out the Passonifuit Surrey and was a bit confusing on there boba order. They still made up for it run the tase. The only other note is that it was a bit hard to find as the shop said COFFEE SHOP and not Haggerty's on it, only in small letters. DEFIANTLY COMMING HERE AGAIN!

I found the restaurant to be incredibly warm which was a bit uncomfortable for me. Nothing was standing out to me, so I did settle on the big breakfast because I'm a fan of a little of everything and this way I didnt have to choose. It originally came without the bacon, but that was quickly remedied. The sourdough bread was good, their pancakes are a bit on the sweet side and not cakey (cakey is actually what I prefer), the eggs and meats were standard (sausage link was kind of like a brown n serve, bacon was on the crispy side if that's your jam.) but tasted good. I enjoyed the american fries. Only other small complaint is the syrup caraf was, even visibly, covered in syrup making it impossible to pick up without totally sticky hands. Could have used some wet naps. It was overall, a very slow experience and we didn't get out of there until 2:41. The service was friendly. The decor is cute and retro. I found the chairs to be comfortable.

The coffee was smooth and flavorful, possibly the best drip coffee I've ever had (and I have had some really good coffee!) and I'm told by my wife that the chai was absolutely delightful. A small menu of drinks and treats may make this spot slip off of your radar - but you would be missing out on a magical little place that, as the name implies, truly has heart... and plenty of it.
