    Itto Deluxe Ramen
    Alesha R.

The food here was really good, especially the deluxe ramen with the black garlic flavor. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful and the atmosphere was cute. Service wasn't the best during our visit and hearing staff loudly complain about other tables was a little uncomfortable, but we'd still come back and would love to try the other location next time!

Came in on a Monday night for a quick dinner while in the city for work. I had the classic ramen and it was very good. Great portion size for the prize compared with ramen places in the Triangle. Very rarely do you get three slices of pork belly. I liked the addition of the arugula. That was new to me. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Food: the food came out nice and hot. We ordered two tapas but dont feel the price justified for the size to be shareable. The shrimp could have been more of for $12 but that's me. The crab rangoons had more cream than crab in it. It was like the ones you can get at Panda Express. The miso soup was big enough to share. It was nice but I can't say it was unique to me. Service: the place was not busy so they were quick to serve but didn't serve much water to us. Ambiance: cute small building with Asian decorations. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Not to be dramatic, but Itto ramen is by fat the best ramen I have ever ever eaten and I always get ramen there when I'm in Asheville. We have always been able to walk right in, and during covid, get takeout. My favorite item on the menu is the spicy ramen. And the star of the spicy ramen is the seasoned egg. I don't even like eggs but this is something special. My son got the boathless ramen which was a little odd.. It was not as hot, but still good. Very cool ambiance, and super nice servers. Big fan of this place.

Great service but tight seating inside. I do love their ramen with the garlic oil though! We added steamed gyoza pork tonight that was decent but not great. With 2 cans of beer & app & 2 ramen with an extra boiled egg & spicy oil on the side our bill was about 65 before top. Favorite cold weather soup is this ramen.

LOVE THIS PLACE! I'm in a long distance relationship with my fiancé, and while he was visiting me in Asheville on this occasion, he requested to come to this restaurant since he loved it so much the last time he was here! We came to this location instead of the downtown one because this one has a parking lot. The decor inside is so cute and one of my favorite parts of eating here. This time we tried the Pork Itto buns, and it was so good! They were filled with sooooo much meat. Honestly I could eat a plate of just that. We also tried a couple of cocktails, and they were both delicious, I love when places have specialty drinks. We did not take pictures of the ramen since we were so eager to dig in. Thank you Itto for always providing a great meal!

A great pleasant place. Stop in and enjoy a. Great meal and great ramen!! Awesome staff!

I was craving something hot and found this place on the map. I walked in and was able to seat anywhere since it was still pretty early in the day. I ordered the takoyaki and Deluxe Ramen. The takoyaki was good but wasn't steaming hot as I'm used to it being. The Deluxe Ramen had too much butter in it, that it was sliding off my chopsticks. The ramen broth tasted pretty weird, not sure if it was the black garlic that made it taste like that. The noodles were delicious though. I wouldn't give it more than 3-stars because mid-way when I was eating, the server asked if I was ready for the check. I literally had noodles in my mouth still and my bowl was half full. He asked for my check. At that point, I kind of lost my appetite and said yes to the check. Their receipt machine was also down so he offered me half a receipt... why.

Very disappointing. It's marketed as an authentic Japanese restaurant, but it was one of my worst experiences out there. First thing you notice when you walk in is that they are playing 1990-2000s rock music. Not a huge deal, but it really pulls one out of the Japanese experience. Which is a shame because the decor was well put together. The second thing was the waitresses were all crowded together close to our table just chatting about their boyfriends and such. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind people standing around and chatting, but don't do it anywhere close to where you have customers! It was quite annoying. Our waitress was nice, but the chatting and gabbing close to our table was yet another to pull us out of the experience. Now for the food. Yet another disappointment. My noodles were undercooked, and I didn't eat a single pork belly slice. It was tough and wasn't worth chewing at all! I asked if I could have my egg cooked to be a little less jammy because that's my preference, and my waiter said "sorry, we cook them all at the beginning of the night". RED FLAG! It was obvious after hearing that everything was pre made and then assembled in an assembly line. Nothing made to order! It's essentially fast food Japanese. Which again, would have been fine if it was marketed as fast food. But it wasn't. Won't be coming here again.

    Itto Seafood Ramen, amazing!

This place was amazing, one of the best ramen places I have been to. They also have tons of small plates so if you aren't a seafood/ ramen fan, you will still find a dish that fits your tastes.

The staff were extremely helpful. I mentioned I was looking for vegetarian options, and the bar tender thoughtfully guided me through the various options on both the tapas and ramen menus. That made for a great experience. In terms of the food, I opted for the miso eggplant and the garlic butter broccoli. Both were excellent. The miso eggplant is served as well cooked Japanese eggplant with a light tempura treatment and somewhat sweet miso glaze. Not too heavy, but still delicious and nicely textured. The broccoli was perfectly cooked with lots of flavor. It made for a nice pairing. In terms of beer, they had a few different local beers on tap. I went for a local pale ale. Great. In any case, this place is highly recommended. I suspect their vegetarian ramen would probably be pretty good, but that was a little heavier than what I was looking for. It was nice to have a few other vegetable forward options available as a backup.

The entire bowl was phenomenal & I wished we had gone back there, the boiled egg they gave was also roasted and the bamboo shoots were fresh, the meat so tender and juicy, and the broth is very tasty!! I craving it while typing and a watery mouth! My partner and I shared a Miso Ramen and I wish we had something similar where I live!!! The decorations were cool and retro and the staff were nice, just an odd waitress but food is amazing!

The shumai and dumplings are alright, too. Be sure to get additions for the ramen, cause those eggs are so good, so's the rest. My only gripe is the chicken katsu doesn't come with rice or sauce, but I don't really think it needs it, I just personally like the rice to get a little saucy. It's fine, really.

A half dozen takeout bags were lined up for pickup, yet despite the rush our order was taken promptly and dinner arrived just as quickly. The Chashu Don came as a generous bowl of warm rice topped with chopped pork in a sweet sauce. A touch on the sweet side, but flavorful and plentiful. Mrs. K. chose the vegetable ramen, which we both enjoyed. The broth was rich and satisfying, paired with gluten-free noodles and plenty of toppings. The house tofu was a bit unusual, but overall the dish was excellent. Service understandably lagged in the busy atmosphere. No one checked back at our table, our drinks went unrefilled, and I had to flag someone down for the check. Small lapses, but they slightly dulled the shine of what was otherwise a wonderful meal.
