Classic ramen (with chili oil added)
    Sarah C.

Came in on a Monday night for a quick dinner while in the city for work. I had the classic ramen and it was very good. Great portion size for the prize compared with ramen places in the Triangle. Very rarely do you get three slices of pork belly. I liked the addition of the arugula. That was new to me. Staff was friendly and attentive.

The food here was really good, especially the deluxe ramen with the black garlic flavor. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the atmosphere was cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service wasn't the best during our visit and hearing staff loudly complain about other tables was a little uncomfortable, but we'd still come back and would love to try the other location next time!

Not to be dramatic, but Itto ramen is by fat the best ramen I have ever ever eaten and I always get ramen there when I'm in Asheville. We have always been able to walk right in, and during covid, get takeout. My favorite item on the menu is the spicy ramen. And the star of the spicy ramen is the seasoned egg. I don't even like eggs but this is something special. My son got the boathless ramen which was a little odd.. It was not as hot, but still good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cool ambiance, and super nice servers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Big fan of this place.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great service but tight seating inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I do love their ramen with the garlic oil though! We added steamed gyoza pork tonight that was decent but not great. With 2 cans of beer & app & 2 ramen with an extra boiled egg & spicy oil on the side our bill was about 65 before top. Favorite cold weather soup is this ramen.

LOVE THIS PLACE! I'm in a long distance relationship with my fiancé, and while he was visiting me in Asheville on this occasion, he requested to come to this restaurant since he loved it so much the last time he was here! We came to this location instead of the downtown one because this one has a parking lot. The decor inside is so cute and one of my favorite parts of eating here. This time we tried the Pork Itto buns, and it was so good! They were filled with sooooo much meat. Honestly I could eat a plate of just that. We also tried a couple of cocktails, and they were both delicious, I love when places have specialty drinks. We did not take pictures of the ramen since we were so eager to dig in. Thank you Itto for always providing a great meal!

I was craving something hot and found this place on the map. I walked in and was able to seat anywhere since it was still pretty early in the day. I ordered the takoyaki and Deluxe Ramen. The takoyaki was good but wasn't steaming hot as I'm used to it being. The Deluxe Ramen had too much butter in it, that it was sliding off my chopsticks. The ramen broth tasted pretty weird, not sure if it was the black garlic that made it taste like that. The noodles were delicious though. I wouldn't give it more than 3-stars because mid-way when I was eating, the server asked if I was ready for the check. I literally had noodles in my mouth still and my bowl was half full. He asked for my check. At that point, I kind of lost my appetite and said yes to the check. Their receipt machine was also down so he offered me half a receipt... why.

    Itto Seafood Ramen, amazing!

This place was amazing, one of the best ramen places I have been to. They also have tons of small plates so if you aren't a seafood/ ramen fan, you will still find a dish that fits your tastes.

Itto Ramen is a wonderful spot to grab a big bowl of yumminess or share a table full of appetizers with your family and best friends. I have always received great service here, and the food is always delicious! We decided on tapas which left us leaving Itto comfortable and ready to go out on the town. Everything tasted fresh, made to order, and the presentation served beautifully. There is a large selection of tapas to choose from- something for everyone! Itto is located in West Asheville. There is an outside patio to enjoy the local weather and scenery.

When we travel, we seek cuisines that we don't have back home. Charleston doesn't have many ramen options (and none are vegetarian), so we were excited when a local friend recommended Itto. As soon as he saw the Takoyaki Balls ($10) on the tapas menu, my husband wanted to try them. I am not an octopus fan, but I tried one for his sake. They're crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. This was the first time I've seen Takoyaki Balls on a menu, so if you're an adventurous eater, this might be the app for you. We visited on a chilly, October night, and it was perfect for ramen. My husband had a more traditional pork-based ramen. For my entrée, I had the vegetable ramen. Often, vegetarian dishes are an after thought, or simply leave or swap out animal proteins, but not at Itto. The green kale noodles were unique. The ramen comes with a large spoon so you can eat it properly, with a little bit of each item in every spoonful. All ingredients (noodles, tofu, corn, onions, arugala, bamboo, and scallions) complimented each other. When we finished our entrees, our bellies were warm and full. Although we didn't have any leftovers, the portions were large. Ample street parking is available, or you can park at a nearby Ingles grocery store across the street and walk over. Itto has two locations in the Asheville area, and I wish they'd expand to South Carolina! Until then, we'll happily recommend this spot and return when we visit Asheville.

The staff were extremely helpful. I mentioned I was looking for vegetarian options, and the bar tender thoughtfully guided me through the various options on both the tapas and ramen menus. That made for a great experience. In terms of the food, I opted for the miso eggplant and the garlic butter broccoli. Both were excellent. The miso eggplant is served as well cooked Japanese eggplant with a light tempura treatment and somewhat sweet miso glaze. Not too heavy, but still delicious and nicely textured. The broccoli was perfectly cooked with lots of flavor. It made for a nice pairing. In terms of beer, they had a few different local beers on tap. I went for a local pale ale. Great. In any case, this place is highly recommended. I suspect their vegetarian ramen would probably be pretty good, but that was a little heavier than what I was looking for. It was nice to have a few other vegetable forward options available as a backup.

The entire bowl was phenomenal & I wished we had gone back there, the boiled egg they gave was also roasted and the bamboo shoots were fresh, the meat so tender and juicy, and the broth is very tasty!! I craving it while typing and a watery mouth! My partner and I shared a Miso Ramen and I wish we had something similar where I live!!! The decorations were cool and retro and the staff were nice, just an odd waitress but food is amazing!

It is located in downtown Asheville so there is no immediate parking lot but there are some places nearby or street parking, The inside is very modern and there is seating both inside and outside. Our server was very friendly and service was very prompt! My family got the Lo Mein with Chicken, Chow Fun with Beef, Sautéed String Bean, Buddha Bean Curd Rolls, Crystal Shrimp Dumplings, and Spicy Chicken. I loved the Crystal Shrimp Dumplings! The wrapper was very tender and the shrimp filling was delicious. It tasted very authentic to me. I also loved the Sautéed String Bean as it had the right amount of garlicky sauce. The Lo Mein was made with thinner than usual noodles but still tasted good. I think the Chow Fun tasted a bit off. It kind of tasted a bit sweet and like drunken noodles at some points as opposed to the traditional smoky flavor that the dish has. The rice noodles that were used were also thin as opposed to the usual wider noodles. As for the Spicy Chicken, it tasted solid. I liked the slight crisp before biting into each piece and it was not really spicy. I definitely tasted the cumin (I am not a super big fan of), which is a popular flavor found in Szechuan cuisine. Overall, I think this is a nice spot for some Chinese food, especially being near the mountains which is more isolated. I would probably rate it a 3.75/5 stars if I could. I wish chicken feet were part of their dim sum menu (it is pretty small and there are no rolling carts in case anyone is wondering). I do think some flavors of the food I tasted seem to cater a bit more to the Western taste palate (my parents agree as well), but I enjoyed my time here.
