Very good sushi! It had some unique options and was a great dinner for my wife and I.

The food is really quite good here. The two things I did not like about this is it took a long time trying to get waiter to come and service us. Second thing in the biggest thing about this place it is noisy noisy noisy. I can hardly hear myself think this is worse than roadhouse. How do I came at 4 o'clock when there's no one here I may have given it a five stars. One other thing we have the boots if you have booths carpet sound dampening walls it might be better. I'm afraid the lack of good employees and the very good economy in Utah valley is to blame for my poor experience last night. I was told that it would take too long to take a "to go" order. That it'd be quicker if I sat down and dirtied glasses that would have to be refilled, and plates that would need to be cleaned and cleared, instead of taking my money and making an order to go, so my daughter, who just got out of the hospital, could eat her favorite sushi. Giving up my restaurant spot for another customer, while still getting delicious food for myself and family, increasing the profits for Itto. But instead I was turned away, by my view, a lazy employee, that hurt his employers bottom line because he doesn't get it. So disappointing on many levels. read more

The sushi was so good! I have them three stars because they wanted to charge us $3 per roll if we wanted it gluten-free... I've never had that kind of charge. It ruins the experience when the restaurant cheep shots like this. read more

Tried to place my order to go over the phone. I was told their phone was "broken" even though I was on hold for 9 min... and could seriously hear them chatting in the back ground. I ordered a salad and got literally 12 pieces of lettuce. I have attached a picture. Would not recommend! read more

Our waiter couldn't have cared less to help us. Appetizer came out after entrée. Food was cold. Table was messy when we were seated and was never cleaned. Very poor experience over all. Highly disappointed. read more

Decent food, bad everything else especially the service. They had a sign saying the special of the day was bluefin tuna for 50% off. Another sign underneath said $6.50 for a bluefin tuna hand roll and nothing else. Well we ordered that expecting it to be $3.25, but they charged me the full $6.50 instead. When I asked about the price, the waiter said $6.50 is already the discounted price. First of all, the signs are very misleading and unclear. Second of all, the most expensive hand roll on their menu is $8....nowhere close to $13! You can order a specialty roll at that price. There is a reason why this branch of Itto sushi has to keep offering groupon deals, because otherwise no one would eat here. Do yourself a favour and get your Japanese food fix at Shoga just across the street instead. read more

I've been here a couple times. The first time was great, with a very long wait. However the 2nd time I came with some friends, it was a very long wait. When we were done we were charged full price for the happy hour meal we ordered, each of us ordered the happy hour sushi and were charged full price. Our waitress never came back to our table to correct the mistake, never came back to apologize, we never saw her again at our table. Although she was still helping at other tables. She never addressed the issue. So we had to grab another waiter to assist us with out pricing/billing problem. We never saw our waitress after getting our sushi, and our water was never refilled. We were never asked how our food was. Although it was yummy. A little cold because it took a while to get our food. I will still go back, but was a little unimpressed with the service, speed/wait time and cold food, no refills on water, and check tab was off with no one making an effort to help fix the mistake. We waited for quite a while before we got anyone's attention to fix the bill. And it wasn't super busy at the time. read more

This is probably the worst service I've ever gotten. I placed an order online and got a receipt email. Thinking everything was great, I headed over in about 20 minutes and was going to wait if it took longer than usual since it's a holiday and can get busy. I get there and ask how long it's going to take. They say they're busy and it's going to take potentially an hour. I swallow that and decide to run a couple errands. Come back in about 30 minutes and ask again how close my order to being done. They come back with they're getting close to starting it. I wait another 20 minutes, so we're now at about an hour and 10 minutes. I ask again and they come back to tell me that i should have gotten an email with a confirmation of my order with an estimated pickup time, which shows in their system as another hour of wait time after at that point an hour and 20 minutes. At that point I am blown away completely that they knew all along that my pickup time was supposed to be in 2+ hours and past their closing time. I am speechless and ask to cancel my order. At first they refuse even though they haven't even started working on my order. Eventually they refunded my money. The whole time I was waiting I saw several take out orders of probably $20-40 at most while they ended refunding over $100 worth of sushi rolls and disappointing a customer who will never go back and discourage anyone he knows from ordering from this place. While the servers were all really nice and all, but someone needed to step in and help them out make thing more efficient or at least tell me the moment I got there, "Sorry sir, it is unlikely that you will be able to get food from us within a reasonable amount of time. But please come again when we're less busy!" Is that too much to ask? read more

The best sushi restaurant I've been to in Utah! They have a board that says what fish is freshest on that day, and I have enjoyed every roll I have tried! The service is fantastic and the atmosphere is modern and cool. The chefs are passionate and very, very good. Easiest 5 star I've ever given. read more

Food and service were great. We had non-sushi eaters with us and they ordered bento box, teriyaki salmon and chicken, great portions. We had several sushi rolls, the sunset, sushi vampire, mafia, playboy, Romeo & Juliet, double spicy tuna, and firebird. The spicy rolls were very spicy, which my husband loved. The others were really good, the exception would be Romeo roll, which was sweet and not my preference. The restaurant was nice and clean, not crowded for lunch. The music was way to loud, very hard to hear and talk with everyone in our group of 8. Also no soda served, only water. It was good enough that we would go back, nice to have something different for a change. read more

This place is awesome. We stopped by here to try something new and keep coming back because we keep having really positive experiences. They have an excellent selection of rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. The fish is really fresh. The tempura is fluffy and delicious. Service is pretty good, but the food is so good it makes up for any lapse. $9-12 per roll, so pretty reasonable for sushi. Dropped in for lunch and got seated in a heartbeat. We ordered the Samurai, the Romeo and Juliet and the Lion King. Rolls came in good time and were very good, particularly the Samurai but the service, while very friendly and pleasant was a bit infrequent. Could have used a second Coke but didn't get one. It may have been that they were understaffed today and based on the quality of the rolls and how friendly they were, I'm giving them a pass. I'd recommend. read more

This fast sushi restaurant provided a great mid-day lunch. We started with edamame and miso soup then shared 3 rolls. I liked the rolls and would return. Service was slow as it filled up during the lunch rush. It would be a challenge to get in and out within an hour for lunch. read more

Had a great time with my adventurous 10-year-old. Came in right during the 12 o-clock lunch rush and was able to get seated right away. We've been meaning to try this place for a while and we finally went! And we miraculously showed up during Happy Hour, which made it all the better. We got the Firebird, the playboy, the Romeo and Juliet, and the Itto rolls. The Itto was heavenly, one of our favs. A little kick to it and it was perfect. The firebird was still good, but not a fav. We got a couple of these based on our servers recommendations and we think she nailed it. Service was good, they were quick. We plan on coming back very, very soon. read more

My husband loved the Fire Dragon, a bit too spicy for my liking, the sunset roll which was refreshing and the Firebird roll which had a super cool presentation but has a Smokey taste we didn't care for. I knew Itto had opened a down south location, but it's at the mall, which is a pain in my keister, so little chance I would go there, unless someone else wanted to do that. However, with Asahi drifting back towards being more of a question mark these days, when the opportunity arose, I dove at it. Appetizers here and the sushi, I'm pleased to say, is definitely the equal of Salt Lake, a location which fits rather neatly into a list of the Top 5 sushi places in Utah. The place was pretty empty when I was there, which meant that I didn't have the Salt Lake City wait to enjoy the delectables. Fish was quite fresh, as is always the case at the Salt Lake location and I'm thrilled they share the same dedication to quality. It's pretty rare that locations are mirrors of each other in quality the way these are, but I'm glad of it. Again, it's pointed squarely at being a fusion-y place, so I can't say it's perfect, but it is easily the best sushi place south of the point and yes, I have been to the Tsunami in Lehi. Absolutely fantastic and worth braving the mall to get to it. read more

Ok so this is my new favorite sushi spot in Utah. I've been to a lot of them since sushi is my favorite, and this by far takes the cake!! The yummiest rolls I've ever had. We had the California, Firebird, Romeo & Juliet, and edamame. The Firebird has this unique Smokey/bbq flavor to it since it's literally served lit on fire. It was so cool!! The Romeo and Juliet is our new favorite roll. It has mango, coconut shrimp, and toasted coconut with a bunch of other yummy shiz. SO GOOD. It's a sweet roll, which was not what we were expecting, but it was so so good. The servers/sushi chefs were so kind. I really appreciated that:) It was so packed, but we went on a Friday night; the servers were so busy and there were some technical issues with checking people out. It took a bit before they were able to get us all taken care of. But those issues happen sometimes, so it's all good. :) Can't wait to come back!! read more

love the decor and how everything was arranged, minimalist style was great. Service was impeccable and we were treated extremely well. They won us over when the chef came out to give us a sample of freshly cut tuna. Everyone is very friendly and is easy to see they are trying to keep their customers happy. We order Hawaiian poke, a bit different than what I've had but still very fresh and flavors complemented each other well. Lion king roll was my absolute favorite, reminded me of summer and had a mild kick and a citrus flavor at the end. Next we had the Caribbean roll, warm not fried with tuna and thing slices of mango, very pleasant. Godzilla was ok a bit bland after the other two and Itto roll had a kick to it but not my favorite. We will definitely come back to try some other rolls, their names definitely make you try them all. read more

I'm Japanese and the entrees we had reminded me of eating at my grandmas house. It's as close to authentic as I've found in Utah. We had the karaage curry and it was so good! We also had the sashimi boat and the portions were huge!! The fish was so fresh and delicious. Not to mention the service which was so great. This place is amazing! Their service is fast, Resturant is very clean. The food tastes amazing and you can not go wrong here. I came on half price Wednesday... they also have half price Tuesday! The prices are so low that I actually took a picture of the menu! See below! $2.99 for a California roll that better then the dollar menu at McDonald's. I ordered the fireball roll which comes out on fire, literally! The roll has a smoke flavor and is not spicy at all, for those of you who don't like spicy food. I also recommend the itto roll!
