The staff there is truly into their craft and provide the best time for all their services. I finally got to try their sandwiches after years of coming for their charcuteries and various classes (all of which you truly cannot go wrong with), and they were to die for. We split their classic grilled cheese and the TBB and they were both nothing short of phenomenal. The grilled cheese comes with tomato soup which was delicious, and you're able to choose a side for all their sandwich options (we chose arugula salad, which was perfectly lemony). My one and only suggestion would be to offer a toasted option for the TBB sandwich, but it was also truly great as is - I would definitely get both again! Also a random rec but they carry a pretty hard to find red sparkling wine that is AMAZING - Cleto Chiarli Lambrusco Amaible, must try!

Met up with a few friends for dinner. We made a 6pm reservation. I called ahead and they confirmed…read morethey could make GF options. Their menu doesn't have anything marked but the server was very knowledgeable. He went through the entire menu and indicated what could be made GF. They do not have GF pasta or bread but they do have a few options for GF crackers. We ordered the crunch party, cheese board with GF crackers, brussels sprouts, and rosemary potato rosti to share. The server made sure to modify everything to be GF and had the potatoes cooked in a separate pan to avoid cross contamination. We also had the GF almond cake. When the staff brought the food, they even acknowledged it was GF before serving. The food and service were fantastic! Really appreciate how knowledgeable and accommodating the staff was. Highly recommend!

The rest of their cheeses are also fab, the cheese board my group got was phenomenal and it was clear that it was thoughtfully curated together for us. I will say the wine is pricier than not (& the wine in the fridge has a $20 corkage fee), but it's all great quality - worth it if you're looking for a unique wine experience in my opinion. It's small but cute inside, matching the chill vibe of the west side of Chicago. Our server was super friendly and added to the experience with his expertise and great vibes! Check this spot out if you have any sort of wine / cheese passions for sure

Cheese, marvelous cheese!…read more Are you that person with at least five varieties of cheese in your fridge, just in case? Well, I can straight up de-mystify the Stamper Cheese agenda. They are cheese pushers. Like so many artisanal fromage purveyors, their wares suck you in, and you just crave more. Must have fresh mozzarella cheese balls, that is my personal mantra. Twice a week, at either the Federal/Daley/ or Willis Tower Farmers Market, I shuffle up to their booth to score my fix, satiating the gnawing jones of a cheese fiend. The days in between, I try to make it last, stretch it out. Mostly, the fresh mozzarella balls will do. Occasionally, I might venture into a goat cheese gouda, apricot brie, or a nettle infused variety. You know what nettles are? Yeah. They STING you. And apparently, they're good for you too. Only Stamper Cheese would have the cojones to use stinging nettles in their cheese. Get some. It's good. It's a hard cheese variety, and quite tasty. No store front, but they have a Printer's Row Cheese Drop Off. Check their website, Facebook, or better yet, email them for details, since the outdoor Farmers Market season is now over. The winter is that much bleaker without you, Stamper Cheese.

I am not sure if this…read moreplace is a fusion restaurant with another culture because the food that I was expecting to be Italian was not giving Italy. Typical bruschetta you see has tomato, which was what I was hoping for when I ordered it, but there were no tomatoes at all. Instead, there were green peas, and a whole lot of cheeses on top consisting of whipped ricotta cheese. The taste made me regret getting the bruschetta, which I usually love. And the gnocchi dish... don't even get me started. The texture made me think I was eating raw dough from my baking sessions. It looked promising when the dish first came out, but the mozzarella cheese on top was chewier than the gnocchi itself. The gnocchi would just become a strange mash when poked with by my fork. The gnocchi was overcooked which resulted in a mushy paste when it should have been pillowy and have a slight resistance when bitten into. Maybe their other foods may have been good, but the combo I got was not filling. I barely touched the gnocchi.
