Dropped in here at Ivy for a quick catch up lunch with a friend. The vibe of the restaurant is very cutesy and quaint. The inside seating is nice and cozy with good music and the patio/rooftop is very nice. The cocktail menu has some variation for most palettes and are all reasonably priced. I ordered the Roma which was very good. The bubbles from the kombucha give it a nice subtle effervescence. The spiced rum and blood orange mesh very well together making for a great drink. My friend ordered the Lavender Cucumber Collin's. This drink didn't really put the lavender on the forefront which lead to it getting lost by the cucumber, same for the crème de violets, absent. The drink was overall refreshing and tasty to her standards. She let me know it was quite strong also, which she prefers. She also ordered the kale Caesar and really enjoyed it. It was perfectly sauced to her liking. Service was okay. Looks like there was only 2 people working for a midday shift around 2 o clock. But no complaints. Salad and drinks came out pretty quickly. The place was pretty empty, definitely looks like I could hold a nice little crowd. Overall a solid 4 stars and warrants a repeat visit so I can try out the food and appetizers. read more

Ivy Bar and Bistro has an attractive setting for a lounge which located upstairs. The actual bar is small with maybe four stools and very limited seating inside. The uncovered patio has considerable more space but be prepared to stand. My visits have been early evenings and haven't witnessed what a crowd would look like. They have excellent drinks and the bartenders are very skilled. Creative cocktails are always a plus for me and you will find something tasty to enjoy. read more

This place was actually not what I expected. I went originally for a salsa and Bachata dance class. I ended up showing up way early, so I got food ahead of time. They have a limited menu but everything is pretty healthy or a late bite to eat. I ended up getting the margarita pizza which is a wood fired pizza and it was delicious! I got two drinks while I was Ciao Bella and the blackberry mule. Both were delicious but the Ciao Bella was my favorite. the class was very fun easy to learn, and the instructor was very patient with us the class was almost like a speed dating event because you do a little bit of the lesson and then they clap and you move onto the next partner but it's open to couples as well if you don't want to switch. The bar space is actually pretty small but the outdoor patio is the main event. That's where everyone hangs out and dances. read more

I feel like this spot is a bit underrated. The food is tasty, the variety is limited, but it makes sense since it seems to have a smaller kitchen. Staff is always on top of making sure your needs are taken care of. Tucked away on the rooftop of Fiori Spa this little gem is amazing!!!! I would come here for the ambiance alone. Houston doesn't have many rooftops so when I heard about this I had to come check it out. On Thursday and Saturday nights they have a live band and on Sunday afternoons there is a Jazz brunch from 10am to 2pm. The bartender was great, I told her I didn't drink so she made me a beautiful, fruity mocktail filled with fresh fruit. We ordered the small charcuterie board and pizza. The charcuterie board was great but the pizza was a little bland. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend checking them out. This is a rooftop bar offering salsa and bachata lessons on Saturday nights. The venue is nice and clean ( this includes the restrooms ), but small. I've always thought the drinks were pricey; a vodka and tonic was $12 and change when I was there on 5/20/23. I stopped by Ivy for a drink with my hairdresser on a Thursday evening. It's tough to see how to get there if you don't know where you're going. Ivy is located right off of Westheimer and shares a parking lot with Attitudes Paris and Fiori Spa. Once you park, take the stairs to the second level and you'll see an outdoor patio. Walk through the patio and you'll arrive at The Ivy. When we arrived at around 7:30 PM, we were the only people there. There's a small bar with a couple of seats with back support. We sat there but they also have some tables and some lounge-style seating. While they do have food, including pizza, we didn't eat so I can't comment on that aspect. They have a craft cocktail list and I picked one off the menu that had gin and cinnamon. It was awesome watching the bartender make my drink. He took a cutting board, set a cinnamon stick on fire, and then placed my glass over the cinnamon and the flame. That ended up giving my drink a nice aroma. Very cool! While the drink was good, we're talking Galleria prices. $16-$18 per cocktail so it's pricey. It is a cool place to hang out though. The bartender said they have DJs on the weekends so I'm assuming it gets more hype than I experienced. read more

I must say, overall the experience was good. It was private, and quiet with a great view. My only two issues was the server did not greet us when we arrived.. she never acknowledged us actually. The bartender became our waiter... I thought this was a good thing because he was more pleasant however.. he went back, changed his receipt and took an additional tip from my card the next day.
