These tacos were everything! We were able to sit at the rooftop seating area in order from the restaurants that were on the lower levels to be delivered to our table, which was awesome. Upstairs had such a fun vibe, big community feeling. The steak tacos were a little bit spicier than I thought they would be but still delicious. The pork tacos were definitely my favorite, the meat was super flavorful. The Elote was also a little bit spicier than anticipated, but I would definitely be back for more! read more

We ordered some food from this spot located in Timeout building. There were so many options of dining to pick from and we decided on Mexican. The staff were cool and moved quickly. We received little beepers for notification when our food was ready. It didn't take long at all. My friend ordered the chicken quesadillas and I ordered the chicken soup with some nachos and salsa. We were planning on eating upstairs in the rooftop area. However, when I received my food it was too heavy to carry on the tray so we enjoyed our meal downstairs. They had a little area with a counter and chairs to eat. My soup looked and tasted amazing. It was thick, nicely seasoned with tons of chicken pieces. The soup was very satisfying and I devoured mine. The nachos were okay with three different sauces. I would definitely check this place out again. read more

There are so many places to choose from at the Time Out Market and I was happy I selected this one. Ordered the grilled fish tacos which come with 3 tacos in one order. The tacos tasted so fresh and had a great balance of a lot of yummy ingredients, spices and sauce. Also ordered a side of Mexican street corn. The street corn was juicy and had just the right amount of butter and toppings. I left there feeling content still thinking about how good my meal was. Luckily there was no line when I ordered and only had to wait about 10 - 15 minutes before I got buzzed to pick up my food and was able to get a seat to eat at the bar. The service was good too. I thought this was one of the better Mexican spots I've been to and would recommend it. read more

The place is a joke. They have some kind of a system to push out food but it is VERY inefficient.. how do you just place any order ticket into place and not know what food goes to each ticket. So if the kitchen makes the order for ticket 25... the person who places on the tray dont even know and just looks for tickets with that food.. so if you are lucky and you are number 60 who ordered like 20 later than ticket 25.. you got your food before ticket 25. What kind of idiots work here? I waited 40 minutes for fish taco and saw like 3 separate orders of fish taco and saw all of them orders way after me but was getting pushed out. After i saw the girl placing the food on the tray saying.. we need fish taco for this.. it's been over 35minutes... i heard and i was over. Asked for a refund.. the girl in the cashier... no sorry no nothing.. just.. ohh, your food is being done right now.... YES i know cuz i heard your coworker say i need fish taco.. dumb idiots think customers wont realize their mistakes? Dont waste your money probably all burnt food also. read more

This is inside Timeout market so it was pretty pricey. I'm from Texas so I've had a lot of good tacos, and I'd say these were a 6/10. The tortillas were really greasy and it didn't come with any salsa. The pork was decent. I ordered via QR code and picked up at the counter so can't speak to service. read more

Ivy Stark Mexology is one of the many food stands in the Time Out Market food hall in DUMBO. there's just something about simple high-quality guac that can make even the most calorie-starved person go from "hangry" to sated in the mere moments it takes to inhale some chips dipped into some flavorful chunky green gold. the folks i was with also had a variety of tacos which they devoured quickly. my calories were the simple delight of the crispy fried corn chips covered in avocados smashed in lime with layers of pomegranate and pepitas plus a trio of salsa. whether you make your mileage by foot through a sweltering day to find air-conditioned respite in DUMBO or just UBER it to a casual place to sit down and eat...then the guac and chips is a necessary starter to a meal at the Time Out Market. let the chips fall where they may...into your mouth. there's a good amount of seating in the food hall, itself. pretty clean considering how many people roll through here. ordering was easy. you get a wireless buzzer that goes off when your food is ready and you just go pick it up. service was friendly. read more

My boyfriend and I were craving Mexican food as we were browsing the restaurants in Time Out Market, and ended up ordering tacos and a quesadilla here. I got the spicy tofu and veggie tacos, and my boyfriend got the al pastor quesadilla. Everything tasted delicious! The reasons why I would give three stars, however, is bc I wish I was able to customize my tacos to mix & match the flavors (I could only get 3 of the same taco). Also, for the price, I wish the order came w/ some side dishes or additional toppings. My tacos only came w/ three small wedges of lime. read more

Food is okay. Pastor would be better if cut from the tromp right away. Meat sits on an aluminum tray for a while. Cooker with glasses and AirPods seems not friendly. If I could give 0 stars just for that girl in the pink shirt. First of all SHE took our order and literally saw us pay. After 40 minute wait for our food, we would follow up, be patient then she proceeded to gaslight us and tell us we didnt pay, when I had the history on my apple pay and physically showed it to her. Then she reprinted us the receipt for our first order and then saw she hid the other receipt in her hand which showed our order number that we paid for second one. At that point she knew she was wrong and she was laughing talking under her breath mocking about us to her coworker. The coworker knew she was wrong too and didnt listen to her and just told us give me a second ill make the order for you. We asked the pink shirt girl for an explanation or at least just an apology at this point and she just said no. Looking at the reviews this isnt the first time its happened and I think its all the same girl I dont know why or how she hasnt lost her job yet. Gurl stop holding our tacos hostage and just learn to say sorry when you're wrong its that easy. read more
