We started with dinner and ended up staying for the music, dancing, and all the fun that makes The Nest such a special place. I ordered the chicken piccata and honestly, it was the best I've ever had. The service was wonderful, and even though we were seated near the piano in the bar area where it can get a little loud, that's part of what makes it such a fun atmosphere. The best part of the night was having everyone together. My niece's boyfriend was visiting from Ireland, and we laughed and danced all night. I especially loved seeing my sister-in-law out on the dance floor and having so much fun. It was one of those nights where people of all ages were dancing, laughing, and just enjoying being together. We had such a great time that they went back again the very next night. The live music was fantastic, and it was great seeing Nick on saxophone. The crowd was a fun mix, the energy was high, and the whole place just felt happy. A coworker recently went during Restaurant Week and couldn't stop talking about the steak, the generous portions, and the peanut butter pie. The Nest has been a desert favorite for years, and there's a reason. It's always nice to see Dodi there and how much pride she takes in the restaurant. Most people think of The Nest for the music and dancing, but don't miss the food. It really is that good! One tip: go early or make a dinner reservation so you don't end up waiting in line. The Nest is still one of the most fun places in the desert!

We waited close to 25 minutes (the only drag) but once we were in the party started. The drinks were nice great and the DJ awesome! He was playing a saxophone as he pumped the crowed up. There was a big crowd full of happy people dancing and enjoying the vibe. Highly recommend but bring your patience to wait in that line.

Arrived late afternoon Saturday during "Social Hour" which happens to be 3 PM to 6 PM every day. Fantastic menu with small bites that really aren't that small and are very well priced! We settled upon the duck fat fries, stuffed bell pepper, double smash burger (which is an individual double slider) and calamari fries. All were amazing! Social hour draft beers $6 and wines $8. Well cocktails on special as well. Fantastic pianist playing the dinner set, too.... All was beyond expectation! Oh, and lots of TVs with World Cup soccer and Padres vs Dodgers! Stayed for the fun 7pm band for a bit as well. Wife and I had a very enjoyable evening....thank you BaBaLoo!!!

We had a horrific experience at Babaloo tonight. We were seated at a booth and within 10 minutes,…read moreboth my partner and I commented that we were being bitten by bugs under the table. We moved to the bar area to get away from the infestation and explained the situation to the hostess and asked to speak to the manager. No manager came, but the "head bartender" came over and we explained the situation to him. He said that they were doing their own investigation of what was going on under the table where we had been sitting. We watched, incredulously, as the staff immediately reset the table with fresh napkins and glassware. They were going to seat another party where we had just been bitten by a flurry of bugs! Instead of taking our word for it, that we had been bitten by bugs over the span of 15 minutes, the bartender challenged us. He ended up raising his voice at us and offered no help and instead made us feel like we had done something wrong. Shame on this restaurant. Shame on their customer service, and most definitely, shame on their lack of basic sanitary measures! The bartender then said that we can either pay for the two drinks that we had partially consumed, or not. As things were escalating in a very negative way, we simply stood up from the bar and left. We will never return.
