Came here for the 4th of July. Had an appetizer and a couple beers. The prices are a little on the high side.Sliders were not bad.Cool dark bar.Live entertainment on the weekends.Didnt have a chance to try their dinner.Good place to cool off and hang out. Definitely a vintage vibe to the place. Will come back again.

This has been our 9-10th time coming to enjoy Frank DiSalvo's tribute show to the Rat Pack and the Great American Song Book music. His live show is wonderful and very entertaining. It's a one-man show, but he does an outstanding job singing and playing his guitar. Side Note: if you don't stay at the Indian Wells Resort, there is a $19 per person entertainment fee along with the cost of dinner and reservations are recommended. The food is very scrumptious, but on the pricey side. It is definitely worth it though. They charge to split dinners, just fyi. All the servers are on top of serving the guests and very accommodating. The show is in the foyer of the hotel and next to the bar which tends to be noisy so try and ask for the middle or front row. Be prepared to be entertained from 6 sharp to 9:00 pm with one longer break and one very short one. He is very warm and greets his guests during his break. We just love him and his show. #franksplace #frankdisalvo

SERVICE = A+, ENTERTAINMENT = A-, FOOD =B+++. I do not understand what all the negative service/food reviews of Franks Place are about!! We were served by Manny and Paul and the service was beyond great!! The entertainment was also great, a wide spectrum of songs/names... believe me, you know them all! I had the rack of lamb, and my food was cooked perfect!! The wife had a steak, and it was not seasoned correctly for her. You order medium rare... you GET medium rare! I'm very pleased we went! NO!! This is NOT for kids or rappers!! This is adult cocktail hour music!! ENJOY WEST-MORRY

Frank DiSalvo was Amazing!!!! My sweetheart is a huge Frank Sinatra fan and a musician. He really wanted to see a show during our recent vacation to the desert. This evening and performance was so lovely. We had a beautiful table for two. We don't look like the "traditional" dinner supper couple but we weren't made to feel out of place at all. We didn't eat but we did have a few drinks. With two cocktails, coffee and one soda plus the admittance, we paid 88$. Not bad! The entertainment was fabulous!!!!!!!! I cried during My Way. And Franks wife was so gorgeous and gracious!

Had the new afternoon tea service and it was delicious. Great service, live piano & the delicate & gourmet prepared food was great. I had the ginger pear tea & that was good too.

    Waiting for its next show

The overall place shows the renovations, though I'm a bit perplexed with all of the black-and-white photos of stars past. It seems the place on his location was once a resort owned/operated/designed? by Desi Arnaz, or so I surmised from the architect's drawing and actual photos in the mens' room... none of which look anything like the hotel housing the place. But a bit off topic. The check-in comes with coupons for both the continental breakfast, happy hour specials and the show... which to be blunt, isn't anything folks are likely coming to the Palm Springs/Indian Wells area to experience. Golf course outside was nice, though...

This is a super cool old-school hotel and restaurant/bar. The number famous people who used to frequent this location in the 50s 60s and 70s is amazing. The hotel restaurant features a nightly show of old-school songs from Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Junior, and many more. The ambience in this hotel is excellent. There's an atmosphere of the rat pack and an old cocktail lounge that's just off the main lobby. Table tops are candle lit with fine linens. The large and prominent bar sets the mood for fun cocktails and excellent music. The food is excellent! Give them your business! I stayed here on an overnight business trip. This is definitely the kind of place I would love to bring my family back to you for a vacation in Palm Springs.

We started with dinner and ended up staying for the music, dancing, and all the fun that makes The Nest such a special place. I ordered the chicken piccata and honestly, it was the best I've ever had. The service was wonderful, and even though we were seated near the piano in the bar area where it can get a little loud, that's part of what makes it such a fun atmosphere. The best part of the night was having everyone together. My niece's boyfriend was visiting from Ireland, and we laughed and danced all night. I especially loved seeing my sister-in-law out on the dance floor and having so much fun. It was one of those nights where people of all ages were dancing, laughing, and just enjoying being together. We had such a great time that they went back again the very next night. The live music was fantastic, and it was great seeing Nick on saxophone. The crowd was a fun mix, the energy was high, and the whole place just felt happy. A coworker recently went during Restaurant Week and couldn't stop talking about the steak, the generous portions, and the peanut butter pie. The Nest has been a desert favorite for years, and there's a reason. It's always nice to see Dodi there and how much pride she takes in the restaurant. Most people think of The Nest for the music and dancing, but don't miss the food. It really is that good! One tip: go early or make a dinner reservation so you don't end up waiting in line. The Nest is still one of the most fun places in the desert!

He was incredibly charismatic, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. His recommendations were spot on, and his service was outstanding. If you visit Babaloo, definitely ask for Arturo. The Ropa Vieja was excellent, but the real star of the meal was the black beans. They were absolutely phenomenal--rich, flavorful, and easily some of the best beans I've ever had. I could have made a meal out of those alone. I also ordered the Ají de Gallina, my favorite Peruvian dish, and it was outstanding. The creamy ají amarillo sauce was packed with flavor, and the dish was prepared perfectly. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Babaloo is definitely a place I'll be coming back to, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Cuban and Peruvian cuisine.
