The menu is tight -- bento boxes, focused apps, nothing that needs a paragraph of explanation. The fried oysters and squid tentacles are mandatory. Non-negotiable. Do not test me on this. Then the subtle flex begins: yuzu, truffle, shiso placed with quiet confidence, mango puree that sounds wrong and tastes right, an Old Bay finish that would make Maryland weep with pride, and a Kalamata olive that has absolutely zero business being this good on a sushi menu -- and yet. We have a Pho 75 that is down the street from where we live within walking distance and may need to revert back to that. We had liked the eden center one initially and it offered a fun little area to walk off our meal before heading home or we could buy groceries nearby but it's more important to me to be able to eat as planned.

FOOD: We ordered brisket, spicy pork belly, spicy chicken, and spicy bulgogi. First time trying the spicy Bulgogi for fear that it was gonna be TOO spicy and it was not at all! To reference -- I thought the kimchi was a bit spicier than the bulgogi! So try it, flavor is amazing! Can't wait to come again. I hadn't gone to KBBQ in a long while!
