Spicy Tuna Kimbob, Tteokbokki, and some complimentary soup
Luis S.

Y'all - I've been here several times, but I gotta say today is the best yet! My wife and I simply ordered spicy tuna kimbap, some tteokbokki and some soup, and it was some of the best I've ever had. Fresh, flavorful, and spicy across. The customer service is on point; food came out quickly, and he was kind enough to even bring us our meal to our table. There's a reason why this our go-to when we are in this area, and why we typically order from this spot over the others in this food court!

Amazing Ramen !!! Cheeeeeese

Twice in a week, Cheese Ramen is pretty amazing !!! Great flavor, left nothing in the bowl both visits. K-Street Original Kimbop also was amazing coupled with the sauce takes it over the top. Friendly service, take a buzzer & find a table, plenty of seating in the food court. Only negative was the Men's restroom, on both visits the facilities were unhygienic - it is a shared restroom for the food court so not a direct reflection of K-Street, but deserved mentioning.

Bulgogi Kimbob

Some of the best kimbap I've ever had! The fillings were perfect and the bulgogi was flavorful and tender. The spicy mayo that it came with was the perfect dipping sauce, but the kimbap was also delicious on it's own. I took it on a picnic and it was extremely tasty and satisfying. Each bite hit the spot, and I could tell they used high quality ingredients. They also rolled the kimbap beautifully and neatly. I can't wait to come back for more!

About a 3.5: We came here for an early dinner, and I was craving some some ddukboki. Noticing that K Street is known to have various Korean snacks and street food, I was excited that they had two types - rabokki and ddukboki. I had the cheese ddukboki - it is ever-so-slightly bland, but the ddukboki was nice and chewy, and it had a nice spiciness to it. I also liked that the boiled egg doesn't come automatically with and it's an add-on. I just wished it had more fishcake! The amount of cheese was super generous - yum! Service was very friendly, and items are made-to-order. Our dish came piping hot, which I loved. Part of the K Market food court offerings; plenty of parking in the plaza lot. +cheese ddukboki +friendly service +located inside the K Market food court +plenty of parking in the plaza lot

Pretty good kimbob but Myunga still takes #1 in the area for me. I've purchased the spicy pork and the spicy o send kimbobs and I loved how little rice was used as filler. It's the telltale sign of honest and well-made kimbob. It would take the #1 spot if they offered a bit more variety in flavors, like spicy anchovy maybe? O deng tang was fine- the dipping sauce just seemed to be soy sauce which was odd but I had my own at home to sub, so that was fine. It's unexpectedly good food for a mediocre supermarket food hall.

Apparently the punshik here is good and I love kimbap so I knew I had to give it a try today at lunch. My friends also got the tteokbokki here which had a lot of fish cakes and rice cakes - definitely something to try next time as the couple bites I took were pretty tasty and saucy. TUNA KIMBAP - 9.99 At initial glance, the seaweed had a nice sesame oil gloss and I knew it was going to be satisfying. The kimbap here are extremely stuffed and definitely worth it. There was so much tuna in each piece and it was super flavorful - probably the best tuna kimbap in the area for the price and quantity. I would highly recommend it!

Again, this is in the k market food court. It's super hidden so you have to search for it around a hallway and corner before you get to it. The kimbap was good. Nice and fresh. Pretty much instant service.

This place has the best freshly made kimbap. Everytime it comes out nice and warm and STUFFED with ingredients. Every time we come to this plaza even slightly hungry we'll stop by and grab some. Have yet to be disappointed. Only thing is sometimes they'll have some pre-made ones, still decent but definitely not as good as the freshly made ones. Either other a variety that you don't see on the table or ask them if they can make you fresh one.

Spicy pork kimbop

They specialize in kimbop along with some tempura, ramen, fish cake soup and teokbokki (spicy rice cake dish). All popular Korean street food. We got spicy pork kimbop and spicy o-deng kimbop. Spicy pork kimbop was not spicy, it had good gochujang (Korean red pepper paste) flavor and kind of sweet. I love that they don't put a lot of rice, it's thin layer of rice is perfect and loaded with other delicious ingredients. Spicy o-deng kimbop was spicy! I love spicy and this hit the spot for me. Its not seasoned with gochujang to make it spicy, if I'm correct I think they sautéed the thinly sliced o-deng with some type of spicy diced/minced peppers. It was pretty spicy for me. Again with thin layer of rice and more yummy ingredients, this may become my go-to kimbop.

Bulgogi Kimbap

Siroo Juk Story used to be my go to spot (specifically the Elliott City location), but K Street stole my heart with their Kimbap and tteokboki! As a Korean American, Kimbap & Tteokboki will FOREVER be my comfort food. Not sure how, but I can and WILL eat these foods till my stomach literally bursts. Anyways, on to the food. Bulgogi Kimbap 5/5: I cannot say this enough, for some this may be average but at K Street???? This is FANTASTIC. The amount of Bulgogi they put in is ridiculous, but hey who says I'm complaining? On top of that, the meat has such great flavor and depth, almost as if they cooked it on top of a grill? Shrimp Tempura Kimbap 4/5: I kinda wish they made this fresh, instead all their Kimbaps were laid out on a table in front of the booth. This didn't give me as much wow factor since the shrimp was a bit cold and on the soggy side. I also tried their Tteokboki which is probably the best Tteokboki I've had in the DMV, the sauce is so spot on! I'm definitely coming back, but be warned, their Kimbaps are more on the pricier side!

In the food court of the K Market grocery store, is this gem. This is how gimbap should be - thin layer of bap (cooked rice) with quality ingredients (well-seasoned meat, egg or fish cake, and veggies) filling the rest!

K Street is located in the food court in the K Mart off Little River Turknpike. They offer an impressive variety of Kimbap with all your favorites including Bulgogi, Pork, Tuna, Crab Meat, and Fish cake. They also have fried tempura and Korean rice cake that you can order on the side. We ended up only trying to spicy tuna Kimbap which was probably not the best decision. Overall, the flavor was pretty average nothing special but nothing really bad. The Kimbap might be a little over priced but my main concern is that everything is premade. The concern is not necessarily that they are premade but more for how long they have been left out especially with offering tuna fish and fish cake. If you are looking for a quick bite, then K street certainly satisfies the Kimbap craving. If you have time, there might be other places in the area with a bigger variety and offers more freshness.

Tteokboki
Jenny G.

We tried the tteok-bokki and it was good! The rice cakes were soft and the sauce was pretty spicy. The additional toppings (cheese and egg) cost extra so we opted out. Next time, I would order it with cheese to help balance out the spice. The only negative part of our experience was that I found, through chewing, a plastic fiber in the dish :(

(Which I love by the way, more places in NOVA should be open later at night!) We ordered a Seafood Ramen and a Spicy Ramen. Both were scrumptious honestly. My friend's seafood ramen was super flavorful, and we requested something to make it extra spicy and they brought us chili oil which made it even better! I got the Spicy Ramen which was honestly perfect for my liking of heat and flavorful. The pork was also very nice and tender. I got a white peach beer here that I also enjoyed a lot! This place was the perfect vibe for a chill girls night. The server accidentally forgot to bring out my friends miso soup but they took it off our bill at the end so all good. I know this location is closing soon and I'm sad it took me this long to try it, but glad that I did.

Located in a small strip mall - this is on the corner and seems like it would be small based on the front facade, yet there was plenty of space inside - tables, and a bar to sit at. We ordered several appetizers: gyoza, buns, karaage, and takyoki. Buns was good - the meat was a little thin for my liking. Gyoza was standard and over fried and crispy. The takiyakk was good - standard. And the karaage was very good - tender white meat inside and the spicy mayo was a nice compliment. The ramen was also good - nothing over the top or trying to be anything it isn't. Just good solid ramen. Would recommend. And will return.
