I absolutely love Tengoku! It's my go-to in Vegas! I love cucumber wrapped sushi and it's hard to find good cucumber wrapped rolls. But Tengoku has two: The Johnny and the Rock and Roll! I also love their deep fried Oreo on vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of chocolate sauce for dessert. The Oreo batter is like a light tempura batter...so yum! I also usually get the miso soup, appetizer tempura and milk tea Boba drink. I've also started recently ordering it on the food apps and it comes package really well for transport. Lastly they are super nice and customer service oriented plus I love their intimate Japanese anime, collector item vibe. You can't go wrong at Tengoku!

I really enjoyed Tengoku. Even though I didn't take pictures of the food (because I was on a first date and that would've been awkward LOL), everything was presented nicely, and tasted so so good. The flavors were amazing, and everything was well-prepared. All of the fish tasted fresh and the amount of rice to accompany the nigiri was perfect, too. The baked green mussels were YUMMY, and usually I'm picky with mine. The servers were kind and very attentive. The lighting is dim, not too bright, and I can't recall if there was music playing or not. Try this place out!!

I visited Tengoku for lunch while my car was getting worked on across the street and there was only one other table dining. The ambiance was very calm. To my surprise the restaurant filled quickly for lunch, they do have a great lunch special. The sushi was my favorite part, it was soft, creamy and delicious. Service was quick and my server was very attentive, refiling my water often. I recommend visiting for lunch for sure.

I've been only here twice but want to make it our go to sushi spot! The rolls are sooo good. Everything comes out really quick too since it's a smaller place. Even the baked rolls! The service is really friendly too and everyone working is so sweet The beef and chicken skewers are also a must too!

The consistency from this tiny place is spectacular! Hidden in an unexpected shopping center in vons... its my go to for takeout sushi on the Henderson side! The quality of the food is excellent! I have dined at this place - the service is great. When I recently placed my takeout order - you can feel the warmth of the welcome over the phone! Pro tip: Order the deep fried oreos!

Hidden AYCE sushi spot that's got lots of appetizer, nigiri, and roll options. We stopped by here for the lunch special and it was quite tasty. Great fish to rice ratio. There was only one server but they came by when needed. It's a casual spot with few seating and booth seating.

Change up! No cook Friday. I asked my husband to change things sip and we thought of this. It's close to home and fairly expeditious. Yes they were. The menu items are vast and healthy options available. The portions are large so the pro e is fair. In house sauce is delicious. The restaurant is small and quaint but traditional. Not much flavor

This is the second time I've been to this place for the all you can eat menu. The first time I came in, I was running a little bit short on time so it wasn't as great of an experience as it could have been but that's on me. The second time I went with my sister and we happily both enjoyed much more time enjoying items off the all-you-can-eat menu. I am a sucker for agadashi tofu, so I ordered two of those as well as smattering of Nigiri. Yellow tail is almost always one of my go to and it was great. My sister was excited to be able to order softshell crab, however you're only allowed to order one of those. But since we both got all you can eat I was allowed to order one for myself and give it to her so she could have two! She absolutely loved it and said it was one of the best ones she's eaten. The stuffed mushroom cap was also delicious and I ordered two of those as well except my stomach was getting a bit annoyed with me after a while because I thought I could fit more in there lol I did not care for the kalbi short ribs surprisingly. I felt like they could've been cooked longer and with more flavor, but that's OK because I go there for sushi anyway so it was worth a try. The interior of this place is super cute, very cozy, and a place I would like to be a regular at. I love this as a spot to go hang out with my sister and unashamedly chow down like the hungry little caterpillar that I am. The murals were painted by one of the staff and she was so sweet to talk artwork with me for a little bit. I'll be back!

I was craving sushi while in Vegas and came across this spot, safe to say I'm glad I did. This spot offers a variety of sushi, sashimi, tempura, etc. Coming here with my friend, we got so much food and left with a food coma. The service was pretty fast, never had to ask for refills for water nor did we wait long for food. The ambiance was nice and calm, definitely would go back!

Date night- this is not our regular sushi spot but we were in the area and they had great reviews! We got there and they weren't busy but we did notice they had a lot of pick up orders so they were "busy". The gentleman helping us was welcoming and it was a chill vibe vs a crazy busy place which I enjoyed. The food was great- most the food we ordered was a hit! My favorite here was the Yuzu yellowtail and the Spicy Tuna Crunch rice and Spicy Crab Crunch rice. Their Super white tuna was a hit for me also- not so much for the husband. We order 3 half rolls on top of our Nigiri orders. Oh! And they have fresh wasabi!!! Everything was delicious. We finished our dinner with Affogatos- not our fave here but next time we'll try the deep fried oreos-thats if we're not stuffed by then lol Overall great place to check out if you're in the area!

Great service, great fresh sushi!!! ask for half orders so you can experience the whole menu...I will be back!!

This is our locale sushi spot, been going here for years and how excellent the service with the staff and the owner Yen. Our copious amounts of nigiri never changes every time we order that its funny, as soon as we sat down in the room....our usual order is already being prepped and they ask how much quantity. The amount of times I've brought family, friends from far and wide have always said that its one of the best places to have great sushi goodness and a homey feeling (specially if you're an otaku). I love it, We love it, and will keep coming back for more Kenpai Ten

I was very excited to try this place out as it replaced a previous favorite of mine in the same location. The buzz surrounding it grew my eagerness to stop by as well. Upon arrival, I was pleased to see the complete restyling inside and it made me feel very much like I was at a fun little shop in Tokyo. The stuff greeted us immediately and was very friendly. There was no wait time as well. After a quick glance over the menu, we dove in with a fairly large order of mixed rolls, nigiri and sashimi. Everything came out super fast and fresh. The fish to rice ratio was great and the staff stayed on top of service. We had a great experience and can't wait to return again.

We also tried this secret menu item. Sorry, I don't recall its name. Make sure to ask to try the secret menu items.

I'd love to visit this place when I'm in town! How does the Ayce work?

Each person must pay for ayce. No sharing with people who haven't paid for ayce. Kids ayce are cheaper. Lunch ayce is cheaper than dinner ayce, but dinner has a few more items that you can choose from than lunch. Enjoy.

When will you be open for dine-in :)?

Hmm🤔, Tomorrow hopefully?? ☺️😋

Do you offer Ikura or Inari sushi for AYCE?

We have ikura but unfortunately we don’t serve inari , Hope to see you soon

Can you order sushi a la carte?

Sorry for late reply, but yes you can definitely order ala cart.

So do you order as you go or is it set out like a buffet since it's AYCE?

Hi , you can order as you go . Lunch is $ 21.95 Dinner $26.95 Thank you.

Food wise all food is made in house by scratch! We love love love that! My favorite items were the burnt ends! Little cubes of gold! I loved the street corn, the fresh baked rolls. But I would suggest not to skip on the churro banana pudding! It's a thick custard full of fresh bananas and then topped with mini churros. They were so nice to put 3 churros because it was 3 of us girls sharing a bit of dessert after being full!!! I wish the ribs were fall off the bone tender but they were so flavorful! My daughter and son in law took me for Mothers Day. There was hardly anyone inside so already not a good sign. I mean, it's Mothers Day for goodness sakes. The restaurant industry's biggest day of the year. It was lunch time, pretty much straight up noon. It should have been packed. It felt like walking into a cafeteria. Decor was lacking. Looked like they were going for half Mexican half cowboy. And I get that. I also get going for minimalist style. It just didn't feel welcoming. It felt cheap and like they didn't care what it looked like. But, looks aren't my priority when I want good food. Daughter and I each ordered a cocktail. Both were very tasty but also pretty weak. Also, I don't like drinking my fruity cocktail out of a plastic cup. All tableware was plastic. Except the cutlery. If I'm paying $30 for an entree, serve it on a real plate, or even on a metal tray. Not cheap plastic that looks like stoneware. Now for the food: daughter's salad was good. Nice fresh leafy greens with a lime ranch dressing. Her tacos were itty bitty, but for $4 each, it's to be expected. The hatch green chili Mac and cheese was ok. Nothing to rave about but no complaints either. Corn bread was tasty but fell apart when cut. I liked that it was covered in honey. I had burnt ends with brisket and Brussel sprouts. Sprouts were mushy, not crispy at all. The only flavor was the heat. I liked my burnt ends, but I've had better. Brisket was overcooked and extremely dry. Little to no flavor and really small, thin slices. I've had brisket from some of the top nationally rated BBQ places and it's always been super juicy, flavorful and nice thick slices that fall apart between your fingers. I've stood in line in the heat for over two hours to have that food. So I know good BBQ My son in law had tri tip and brisket with fries. And his plate was swimming in grease. That should never happen with low and slow cooking of meats. The amount of grease on his plate, and the state of the brisket are the ultimate reason for this less than stellar review. My daughter and I both wondered if the sandos would have been better choices, but meat that's only good if made into a sando, is not saying much about the meat. Maybe I'll get one and see if it's better. But I won't be back for plates of meat. I only took a picture of my plate. I really wish I had gotten one of my son in laws plate.

Plenty of parking in the shopping center, the signage is very prominent so there is no mistaking where you're going. Walking in the front door, you feel like you're home again. Lots of cool artwork on the walls, a very wood-based environment, has a country charm to it with a modern upscale feel. We went there for appetizers as we were on a time crunch, so we ordered the blueberry chicken sliders, the corn ribs, and the blueberry chicken wings. I had heard about these for the longest time, and everyone said they were amazing. Well I'm here to tell you that they 100% are! The corn ribs were wonderful with the cilantro dipping sauce. The only thing that would have made them better is if they would have put some Jalisco cheese on it and made it a little more like street corn. But hey who am I to complain about these corn ribs? I ate them all. The blueberry chicken sliders were absolutely off the charts! I had heard about these several times. People saying things like they are the absolute best to your taste. Buds will be stunned for days. Well, they weren't wrong, these sliders were absolutely wonderful. And we cannot forget the blueberry smoked chicken wings. These things were so well cooked and the seasoning was perfect and the blueberry softs on top took it to a whole other dimension. I would eat probably three or four more plates of these. I'm looking forward to going back there for dinner, as they had plenty of options on the menu. Such as brisket, ribs and so forth. Definitely going back for round two. Bottom line? You cannot go wrong with this place. Do yourself a favor, take some friends, and get all of the aforementioned appetizers. Your taste buds will. Thank you!
