I visited Tengoku for lunch while my car was getting worked on across the street and there was only one other table dining. The ambiance was very calm. To my surprise the restaurant filled quickly for lunch, they do have a great lunch special. The sushi was my favorite part, it was soft, creamy and delicious. Service was quick and my server was very attentive, refiling my water often. I recommend visiting for lunch for sure.

I've been only here twice but want to make it our go to sushi spot! The rolls are sooo good. Everything comes out really quick too since it's a smaller place. Even the baked rolls! The service is really friendly too and everyone working is so sweet The beef and chicken skewers are also a must too!

The consistency from this tiny place is spectacular! Hidden in an unexpected shopping center in vons... its my go to for takeout sushi on the Henderson side! The quality of the food is excellent! I have dined at this place - the service is great. When I recently placed my takeout order - you can feel the warmth of the welcome over the phone! Pro tip: Order the deep fried oreos!

I absolutely love Tengoku! It's my go-to in Vegas! I love cucumber wrapped sushi and it's hard to find good cucumber wrapped rolls. But Tengoku has two: The Johnny and the Rock and Roll! I also love their deep fried Oreo on vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of chocolate sauce for dessert. The Oreo batter is like a light tempura batter...so yum! I also usually get the miso soup, appetizer tempura and milk tea Boba drink. I've also started recently ordering it on the food apps and it comes package really well for transport. Lastly they are super nice and customer service oriented plus I love their intimate Japanese anime, collector item vibe. You can't go wrong at Tengoku!

I really enjoyed Tengoku. Even though I didn't take pictures of the food (because I was on a first date and that would've been awkward LOL), everything was presented nicely, and tasted so so good. The flavors were amazing, and everything was well-prepared. All of the fish tasted fresh and the amount of rice to accompany the nigiri was perfect, too. The baked green mussels were YUMMY, and usually I'm picky with mine. The servers were kind and very attentive. The lighting is dim, not too bright, and I can't recall if there was music playing or not. Try this place out!!

Change up! No cook Friday. I asked my husband to change things sip and we thought of this. It's close to home and fairly expeditious. Yes they were. The menu items are vast and healthy options available. The portions are large so the pro e is fair. In house sauce is delicious. The restaurant is small and quaint but traditional. Not much flavor

Hidden AYCE sushi spot that's got lots of appetizer, nigiri, and roll options. We stopped by here for the lunch special and it was quite tasty. Great fish to rice ratio. There was only one server but they came by when needed. It's a casual spot with few seating and booth seating.

This is the second time I've been to this place for the all you can eat menu. The first time I came in, I was running a little bit short on time so it wasn't as great of an experience as it could have been but that's on me. The second time I went with my sister and we happily both enjoyed much more time enjoying items off the all-you-can-eat menu. I am a sucker for agadashi tofu, so I ordered two of those as well as smattering of Nigiri. Yellow tail is almost always one of my go to and it was great. My sister was excited to be able to order softshell crab, however you're only allowed to order one of those. But since we both got all you can eat I was allowed to order one for myself and give it to her so she could have two! She absolutely loved it and said it was one of the best ones she's eaten. The stuffed mushroom cap was also delicious and I ordered two of those as well except my stomach was getting a bit annoyed with me after a while because I thought I could fit more in there lol I did not care for the kalbi short ribs surprisingly. I felt like they could've been cooked longer and with more flavor, but that's OK because I go there for sushi anyway so it was worth a try. The interior of this place is super cute, very cozy, and a place I would like to be a regular at. I love this as a spot to go hang out with my sister and unashamedly chow down like the hungry little caterpillar that I am. The murals were painted by one of the staff and she was so sweet to talk artwork with me for a little bit. I'll be back!

I was craving sushi while in Vegas and came across this spot, safe to say I'm glad I did. This spot offers a variety of sushi, sashimi, tempura, etc. Coming here with my friend, we got so much food and left with a food coma. The service was pretty fast, never had to ask for refills for water nor did we wait long for food. The ambiance was nice and calm, definitely would go back!

Date night- this is not our regular sushi spot but we were in the area and they had great reviews! We got there and they weren't busy but we did notice they had a lot of pick up orders so they were "busy". The gentleman helping us was welcoming and it was a chill vibe vs a crazy busy place which I enjoyed. The food was great- most the food we ordered was a hit! My favorite here was the Yuzu yellowtail and the Spicy Tuna Crunch rice and Spicy Crab Crunch rice. Their Super white tuna was a hit for me also- not so much for the husband. We order 3 half rolls on top of our Nigiri orders. Oh! And they have fresh wasabi!!! Everything was delicious. We finished our dinner with Affogatos- not our fave here but next time we'll try the deep fried oreos-thats if we're not stuffed by then lol Overall great place to check out if you're in the area!

This is our locale sushi spot, been going here for years and how excellent the service with the staff and the owner Yen. Our copious amounts of nigiri never changes every time we order that its funny, as soon as we sat down in the room....our usual order is already being prepped and they ask how much quantity. The amount of times I've brought family, friends from far and wide have always said that its one of the best places to have great sushi goodness and a homey feeling (specially if you're an otaku). I love it, We love it, and will keep coming back for more Kenpai Ten

I was very excited to try this place out as it replaced a previous favorite of mine in the same location. The buzz surrounding it grew my eagerness to stop by as well. Upon arrival, I was pleased to see the complete restyling inside and it made me feel very much like I was at a fun little shop in Tokyo. The stuff greeted us immediately and was very friendly. There was no wait time as well. After a quick glance over the menu, we dove in with a fairly large order of mixed rolls, nigiri and sashimi. Everything came out super fast and fresh. The fish to rice ratio was great and the staff stayed on top of service. We had a great experience and can't wait to return again.

I'd love to visit this place when I'm in town! How does the Ayce work?

Each person must pay for ayce. No sharing with people who haven't paid for ayce. Kids ayce are cheaper. Lunch ayce is cheaper than dinner ayce, but dinner has a few more items that you can choose from than lunch. Enjoy.

When will you be open for dine-in :)?

    Hmm🤔, Tomorrow hopefully?? ☺️😋

Do you offer Ikura or Inari sushi for AYCE?

We have ikura but unfortunately we don’t serve inari , Hope to see you soon

Can you order sushi a la carte?

Sorry for late reply, but yes you can definitely order ala cart.

So do you order as you go or is it set out like a buffet since it's AYCE?

Hi , you can order as you go . Lunch is $ 21.95 Dinner $26.95 Thank you.

Menu offers a nice selection of charcoal grilled such as A5 wagyu, yakitori beef, chicken, pork, kurobuta sausage, as well as quick bites, appetizers, carpaccio, special roll, sashimi, chirashi bowl, ramen, donburi, and desserts. For refreshments, they have sake, draft beer sapporo, shochu (traditional Japanese distilled spirit), chu-hi, soft drinks, plum wine, wine, and champagne. I ordered quick bites for Japanese Pickles ($5.80) and Cold Tofu ($4.80). Cold Tofu is simple, topped with chopped green onions, ginger, and bonito flakes. Japanese Pickles is light and tasty, has yellow pickled radish (daikon), cucumbers, seaweed, and cabbage. I tried a small appetizer for Shrimp Tempura ($8.80) and request mayonnaise on the side. Shrimp is fried golden crispy, served over mixed greens with tomatoes, and the mayo is a great dipping sauce. For dessert, they have waffles for Berry Berry, Matcha Anko, and Choco Banana, including ice cream and mochi. I love Warabi Mochi ($3.98), it's Japanese Jelly Sweets served as six pieces, the texture is delightful, soft, chewy, bouncy, and so yummy with brown sugar syrup. Japanese Ice Cream ($3.98) is good too! Instead of Vanilla, I asked for Matcha Ice Cream, and they are nice to accommodate. Matcha ice cream is creamy, sprinkled with kinako powder, and has a wonderful sweetness from brown sugar syrup, it's really good! Service from Momo and Jasmine is so kind, welcoming, attentive, accommodating, and friendly! There were a couple of birthday parties. They have additional seating in the back, you can bring a cake and they'll light the candles for you, and play a lovely Happy Birthday song, it's very cool!

This place has yakitori, sushi, ramen, rice bowls, sake, high balls and everything you can imagine that you'd want from an Izakaya without having to go to China town. The ambiance of the place is pretty simple as they have decor on the wall and in the restaurant to create a clean feeling for an Izakaya without being so loud with the decor. Although the servers were really nice and helpful, the one thing that does dock this place down for me is the service was really slow. We were probably the only people there at first in the beginning before more people started showing up. We were able to get a few of our dishes, but then they seemed to have prioritized the bigger groups orders over ours. It got to the point where we were tired of waiting and they knew it. It was a bit of a wait for us to even check out with whatever food we got, but they were still nice and apologized about it. This place definitely has potential, they just have to be able to dish out all the food they have to offer.

He's one with gold bracelets and a pierced ear. He rushed through the entire meal, put almost no effort into entertaining the table, and came across as cold and dismissive. I made a few simple requests regarding my food, and every single one was ignored. It wasn't just disappointing, it was frustrating. If you're paying hibachi prices, you're paying for both the meal and the experience, and we received neither. The food itself was equally underwhelming. It lacked flavor, was overcooked in places, and simply wasn't good. Honestly, I've had better hibachi at fast casual restaurants. What really crossed the line was when the chef had the audacity to gesture to the rest of my party for tips after I had already tipped him myself. I've never experienced anything like that. It put everyone at the table in an uncomfortable position and left a bad taste in our mouths before we had even finished eating. The service only added to the disappointment. Our server was painfully slow from start to finish. Tables that were seated well after us finished their meals and left before we did. When I finally asked for a to-go box for the food I barely wanted to take home, she handed me the containers and walked away without even offering a bag. Maybe my expectations are higher than the average guest because I worked at Benihana for several years while I was in graduate school. I know what good hibachi looks like. It's not about tossing shrimp into someone's mouth or making a volcano out of onions. It's about hospitality, timing, engaging your guests, and making them feel like they received an experience worthy of the price they paid. This wasn't that. For nearly $360, we left feeling disappointed, uncomfortable, and wondering how a restaurant built around entertainment managed to make dinner feel like such an inconvenience. We won't be returning.
