    $25?!?!

Not surprising they got my order totally wrong because it took forever to cook while they were in the back cursing and talking about fighting. The ladies in the front were very nice but I won't try this place again. When you charge this much for stir fry, you have to do better.

We have ordered here several times on DoorDash! I have been so impressed with their food every time. Their food is always seasoned well. We love their fried rice here. I got a BOGO deal with their premium meat- surf and turf. It was so good! The steak turned out really good and not tough. I think it was angus! I like all their sauce options too. We got chicken katsu this time and that was delish as well!! Service is quick...especially since it's DoorDash. I can't speak for ambiance since we order out.

Nastiest chicken plate! Dry chicken, mushy rice and noodles and 0 flavor or effort put into this!

0 stars. I ordered Volcano Grill on Postmates and this was hands down the most disgusting meal I've ever had. The rice was mushy and tasted old, like it had been sitting around forever. The noodles were just as bad--soft, soggy, and honestly nasty. The chicken was so dry I almost choked trying to eat it. There was literally no seasoning on anything. No flavor, no effort--just bland, poorly made food. And the sauces? Absolutely awful. Weird, off-putting flavors that didn't make any sense and made everything worse. This whole meal went straight in the trash. Total waste of money. What even is this place?

One of those spur of the moments where you're like " I'm hungry " and " oh look, we've never tried this place before." So we decided to try it. I'm happy to say we enjoyed it. The burgers were surprisingly good and so were the fries. The shrimp cooked perfectly. My son who is the most picky eater you'll ever meet liked the chicken and spring roll. The only thing we didn't care for was the noodles. They were too sweet for my wife and son. We really liked the creativity of the restaurant. There was a mural on the wall which showed some Nintendo themed characters. You wouldn't notice who they were if you weren't a video game fan. Very creative. It doesn't look complete so I'm excited to see what else gets added to it. Service was great. Being first timers there, I appreciated the girl at the register explaining things to us and being patient with us.

I feel like this is a little hidden gem on Eastern and a MUST TRY! The food is incredible, the staff is awesome, the design of the space is neat and very welcoming. My favorite was the yakisoba noodles were addicting and the steak was perfectly tender. We shared a double protein plate and it was plenty of food for us two. Can't wait to come back.

Came expecting it to be a let down but it was honestly pretty good! I got a standard protein plate with chicken breast, grilled rice, Mac salad, and vegetables. The chicken breast was a little firm but seasoned well. I got teriyaki sauce on the side to put over it. The rice was extremely good, and the veggies would have been good if it wasn't mostly zucchini. I wish there was more broccoli. The Mac salad was also good. My partner is Hawaiian and described it as "legit". Everything was seasoned very well. If I had to change anything, it'd be the chicken tasting just a little fresher and less cooked. Their Fuji Yumma sauce is also super tasty. It's a traditional yum yum sauce. Their sauce variety is pretty diverse and almost anyone could find something they like here. While it can be pricey for those wanting a bit more food, I found it to be a solid portion size for $16. I wasn't left hungry. Japanese steakhouses might cost about the same, but Volcano Grille isn't afraid of seasoning their food a little more and I like that.

Highly recommend trying them worth every penny I order on Uber Eats tonight wasn't dispontied will be back in person now

I love a spot that can offer quick delicious food. The shrimp are cooked to order so their is some waiting time but worth it. The cashier is friendly and explains the menu well. The ambience is quiet, music playing and clean.

The usual: three protein plate with chicken katsu, spicy chicken breast, and tofu. So much food they don't fit in the plate.

Kiddo's lunch cravings satisfied. Shared a plate and dessert because the portions were huge.

Once I stepped foot inside and saw a completely packed house with an hour and a half wait and barely standing room at the bar, I knew it was worth whatever wait or process I had to go through. Ultimately I lucked out as an individual. I was able to snag a bar top seat pretty quickly and had I known then I was sitting down to what was going to be one of the best meals of my life, I would have been visibly more excited. Not only was the service absolutely top notch, the people and the regulars there were extremely friendly and outgoing. The vibe was perfect, a strange mix of a place that felt like it had been there for 200 years yet was somehow high energy and vibey. From a killer cocktail recommendation to one of the best steaks I've had in my life and coming from Oklahoma City, where I work a mile away from the stockyards and can get great quality fresh beef six ways from Sunday, that's saying a lot. I usually despise most things truffle but if I was forced to eat that truffle mac and cheese every day for the rest of my life I would consider it a life well lived. While I would have never ordered it on my own, a customer next to me recommended the porn star cocktail and I have to say it was also one of the most delicious things I've ever had in my life. Ten out of ten, top notch experience. Would recommend. Will be back every time I'm in Vegas, no questions asked.

Buyer beware, the lobsters were warm water lobsters and not cold water lobsters...always ask before you order lobster in any restaurant. If it's not cold water lobster, it's just not the same. What was really disappointing was the service specifically from the waiter. He was quite condescending and rude to a number of the people at the table. He completely screwed up the orders and two people had to wait an additional 10 minutes to get their meal. If you want a good steak dinner in Las Vegas, go to Peter Lugers in Caesars. A much better experience with much better food, without the attitude from the waiter!

The Steer became our favorite place to return to. We've tried the bone in ribeye a few times, the lobster, the filet, salmon, sea bass, and I believe the NY strip. I'm obsessed with the twice baked potatoes and hubby gets the broccoli without cheese, we typically share mushrooms and I've tried the Caesar a few times. My most recent visit was on July 1st to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. Our reservation was for 9:45 pm which made me nervous. Somehow the staff here can tolerate these late nights. They did not rush us and I felt like it was 8 pm and not after 10. I love how they always have a fun story about times long gone. This time we sat at Joe DiMaggio's second booth. He's the only star with 2 booths. You can look online for the story behind that. We've had the pleasure to engage with their sommelier several times. He always suggests something nice and we try a new wine. One time it was Silver Oak and on Wednesday it was a 2009 from Macaulay Vineyards. I made another reservation already because Golden Steer is in high demand. I believe we will come back for years to come.

Kimmy and Xavier took great care of us throughout the evening. We saw Xavier most often, and he was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all of our questions. He also made our anniversary extra special by surprising us with a complimentary chocolate mousse cake topped with whipped cream and a glass of sparkling wine, which was a thoughtful gesture we truly appreciated. The standout of the meal was, without a doubt, the seafood tower. It was absolutely worth ordering. The generous portions of crab, lobster, and shrimp made it feel like a great value, especially since the crab was already out of the shell and the lobster was perfectly prepared and ready to enjoy. We also loved the mango and raspberry sorbets for dessert--they were incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. We brought our own bottle of wine and paid the $50 corkage fee. I also ordered the Black Cherry Margarita, which was delicious, while my husband enjoyed a glass of the Domaine Laroche Chablis. Unfortunately, the steak was just okay. We ordered it medium-rare, but it came out a bit overcooked. The wedge salad and French fries were fine, but nothing particularly memorable. We expected to spend around $500 for dinner, so the price itself wasn't the issue. We were simply hoping the quality would better match the cost. While we enjoyed parts of the meal--especially the seafood tower, desserts, and the wonderful service from Xavier and Kimmy--we left feeling that the overall dining experience didn't quite justify the price tag.

I was actually able to make sure he'd come and even get him to dress up a bit by telling him we were going to a special Yelp Elite event...and it worked! Lol! The atmosphere, style, vibe, service, and even the bathrooms are all worth mentioning. I ordered the Tennessee Sidecar, and it was easy to drink. My favorite cocktail is a classic Sidecar, so I really enjoyed this twist on it. My husband and I shared the Tomahawk for Two. The menu didn't mention that it came with any sides, but it was served with cooked carrots and asparagus in the same pan as the steak. Since we didn't know that ahead of time, we also ordered the whipped potatoes and broccolini. The presentation was beautiful, but unfortunately the tomahawk lacked flavor. My husband and I both ended up adding salt to our steaks, and that's honestly never happened to us at any steakhouse before. The steak itself, however, was cooked perfectly. The carrots, asparagus, and broccolini were all decent, but they also needed a bit of seasoning in our opinion. The standout side for us was definitely the whipped potatoes. Those were delicious! One dish that really caught our attention at the table was the Surf & Turf. It was served with melted butter in a small bowl that sat over an enclosed flame, which made for a really nice presentation. I included a video. As for dessert, I have to admit my husband and I were disappointed. After seeing photos from other reviews that mentioned getting a large slice of rich chocolate cake, I was expecting my husband to receive a nice slice of their chocolate cake for his birthday, too. Instead, he was brought what they called a "Green Velvet Cake," which tasted like a cheesecake-cake hybrid. I'm sorry, but it was very underwhelming. It honestly made me think it was a cake idea from St. Patrick's Day. Not only did it look unappealing to us, but all of that bright green food coloring wasn't exactly appetizing either. We also expected there to be at least one birthday candle, but there wasn't. My husband ended up sticking a toothpick into the cake and pretended it was a candle, which at least gave us a good laugh. I'm also hoping that "birthday dessert" wasn't something we were charged for. Overall, the ambiance is beautiful, the staff was friendly and attentive, and I even loved the bathrooms. Each restroom has its own private sink inside, which was thoughtful and that I really appreciated. (Photos included!) That said, the food my husband and I ordered simply didn't live up to our expectations, especially for a steakhouse at this price point. Because of that, we probably wouldn't choose Smith & Wollensky again for celebrating a family birthday. If we did return, we'd definitely be ordering something different.

The waitstaff were dressed very casual, jeans and t-shirt casual. Although the food is upscale, everything else about this place seems very casual diner like. We could even see most of the work going on in the small kitchen. Mostly shareable plates... Our table chose the deviled eggs with caviar - these were a hit! Dynamite shrimp, most at the table liked these, they were spicy and the flavor was decent, but I just felt like the sauce made the breading a bit soggy and it wasn't a favorite of mine. Pork Belly - This had a buffalo sauce on it, which I wasn't too excited about at first, but it worked better than I expected. Wish it was just a little crispier but it was tender and I enjoyed it. Oxtail risotto - this one had mixed reviews from the table, I really enjoyed it. The flavor was good. There's only a small amount of meat and it's shredded into the risotto. Overall the consistency was a little weird, very thick and almost sticky/dry, plus the dark color. They had a steak on the menu and the flavor was great, one of the pricier menu items but it was a good share. My wife ordered a burger without the bun. She said the patty was well over-cooked and so it was pretty dry. They don't offer gluten-free buns or bread - bummer. The service was generally prompt, but seemed uncoordinated at times. For example, it seemed our waitress was also handling a very large party outside on the patio, and randomly the hostess would bring us a drink refill (hostess stand was right beside our table). That's good in a way, they are all a team, but she also picked up my plate and silverware after only the first appetizer - mind you they bring everything out as it's ready, so don't expect the whole table to eat together, you are expected to share! When I asked if she could replace my silverware, she grabbed a fork and knife and handed to me, but they weren't rolled in a napkin or anything, just barehanded me some silverware... anyway, I thought that was odd. Overall, the food had some bright spots and perhaps worth a lunch if you are downtown. I probably wouldn't seek it out again, but I'm not mad about the meal we had either.
