My husband and I love this restaurant. It is our go to for birthdays and anniversaries because we both love it so much. My husband always gets the steak Maui which is a Hawaii marinated rib eye and he savors every bite. I always get the steak brazzo which is steak medallions in a mushroom Madeira sauce...so yummy. The Mac n cheese is the BOMB!!! We LOVE it! The restaurant has intimate seating, but my husband complained that it is a little to dark for him. He prefers to be able to see what he is eating. Service is always good, but of course some are more attentive than others. Highly recommend trying it if you are in the area. read more

Ordered some takeout for my Mom's birthday, and everything was great except our 2 Cypress salads were actually Alex salads. Since 1 of those was for my Ma, I called the store to get them replaced. After being seated, I noticed the scent of sour water becoming stronger. With Covid, it could be possible that the strong scent is a result of over sanitation. Despite the scent, service was great and my server was attentive and prompt. For the appetizer, I ordered the queso spinach dip. This was a nice light dish to start with. For my main dish I ordered the fresh salmon. Instead of having the fresh salmon grilled, I made a request to have my salmon blackened. Normally food and service are superior. This afternoon, not. Food crumbs stuck to fabric napkins and residue in iced tea served without ice so requested another. I spoke with the manager who said they send out their napkins to a linen service and only saw a lemon seed in the bottom of the glass. I know everyone is overworked and short staffed but we can't have short cuts with cleanliness. read more

Had an 8pm reservation for a party of 6. The food was a 4 out of 5 (a couple of us dine here about once or twice a month.) Our server seemed to be somewhat inexperienced, maybe? She didn't tell us her name in the beginning, she didn't write any of our orders down which resulted in any modifications being missed that she had to correct. Once she brought the bill back in the end she quickly said "Thanks." and walked off. Had a great time dining on Germantown Parkway ! We had the pasta soup, and the prime rib with 2 loaded potatoes. Followed by key lime pie and chocolate cake Our server was Britney and she was awesome! The food came quickly, hot and correct. The prime rib was medium all the way through. Very disappointing. Had the steak and fries. Unseasoned steak, shoestring fries. Not sure why steak fries aren't the fries paired with it, but they aren't. Menu did not warn the steak would be unseasoned, it was just a little surprise. There is no bread service. My cocktail was the wrong color for the drink I ordered. The unseasoned steak was very stringy. It took forever to eat. My guest had a decent steak, but his smashed potatoes were cold, and oddly plain and dry. It was as if they literally smashed some boiled or baked potatoes and that was it. No discernible seasoning, other than some dried green flakes on top. Absolutely one of the most disappointing $120 meals I have ever had. read more
