I had a leaking front fork seal on my 2010 Honda Goldwing. After a failed attempt to get it repaired elsewhere due to poor customer service, I was referred to J&B so I called them. I live 150 miles from their business but I couldn't find a Goldwing repair shop with any decent reviews. I got Jon on the phone right off the bat, the very tech that co-owns the place, and worked on my bike. He knew exactly what he was doing, called me promptly when he had the parts in hand a couple of days after my call, so I trailered the bike to his business. He had it repaired in two days and even did a handlebar lift and repaired a footrest for me, and a several point inspection, including a brake bleed as part of the service. My bike was returned in perfect condition. They are too far for me to go normally, but this was a critical repair and I only dealt with Jon throughout the repair. He and I related very well, and he was more than accommodating. Recommend this business and Jon as a tech that knows his stuff and is very friendly. Their shop rate is $120/hr at this writing. I brought my harley in for routine maintenance before a 3500 mile road trip within a week. When they checked the plugs they discovered the harley plug was mis-threaded with only a couple of threads holding it in. The threads were destroyed as the previous mechanic didn't want to reveal it. Could have been safety and total disaster on the road. Likely harley dealer since they were their plugs They were able to order a new rethread insert with a stronger alloy that they then integrated into the cylinder head. The threads were then like new. My harley ran like never before and was so pleased with performance after. I will only trust these guys and plan to bring in for some new upgrades later. Bruce and John know bikes both imports and domestic. I only trust them and so appreciate how they show and explain all the issues and provide great advice. What a blessing to me read more

I cannot say enough good about this place and how they treat their customers. I formerly went to another shop on Honea Egypt based on a friends recommendations. After the owner of that establishment got aggressive and yelled at me, I started looking for another place. I found J&B cycle works and called them up. I got the one of the Owner's on the phone and he took 45 minutes patiently answering my questions and offering his advice on what he would do based on my responses to the questions he asked. I took one of my bikes down to get some work done and WOW. they do FANTASTIC work and treat their people amazing! In fact, I was sitting there and every person that walked through the door was acknowledged and known by first name. What a family environment and great atmosphere. If you need service or total repair as I did this is the place to go. Bruce and John had to completely rebuild my Road Glide when I had to lay it down. New front fairing, saddle bag repair, replaced the tour pack along with a lot of chrome. Did it for a fraction of what Harley quoted and did a great job. Bruce ran the Harley shop for 9 years and can work on any kind of ride. Save your money and get the work done right without paying the overpriced charges at the Harley dealership.
