He brought in a large pipe that he left in our restaurant storage for about 5 months but did nothing else. He finally came in and installed it after months of me asking him to do it. He also installed a hood. This was only a small part of the job and nowhere near the $20,000 I have paid him. Since then, I have called, emailed, and texted more times than I can count with no response or a response saying he will be in this week but he never comes. I finally got him to come into the restaurant for a meeting. I brought someone to the meeting with me who knows the laws about contracting. He became so angry that we expected him to have answers and do the work that he got up and walked out and left in his car. This was in April 2019. He has never shown up again to complete the job and delivery the equipment and has not refunded my money even though I asked him to. He also has a key to my business and has never returned it so he has access to my restaurant. He has had my key for 11 months now and will not return despite asking him to. At this point, he has stolen thousands of dollars from me and I will be filing a complaint with the State and with the Attorney General. I will also be filing a report with the police.

Instead of simply telling us it was the last one, Joseph went above and beyond to see if there was another one available. He even checked the shelves above and looked for other options that might work for us. He made what could have been a long and frustrating process so much easier. While we were waiting, Joseph took the time to chat with us, which made the experience feel welcoming instead of stressful. It was also clear that he genuinely cared about his work, he was making sure everything around him was organized and looking good while helping customers. Shopping in Tukwila, Washington…read more.. My niece wanted to go to Costco last time I visited her for her birthday in December. Somehow, we ran out of time. This time, I promised her that we would make Costco a priority. She finished work early and made our way to this organized, clean, and efficient warehouse. Parking was a bit challenging as people maybe had just finished work and were possibly shopping on their way home. We parked on the edge of the parking lot... no problem! Inside, the place seemed gigantic! The freezer section was like a longer row... as compared with the Costcos on Oahu, Hawaii. Plus, there was a Garden Center. I don't think we have those. We didn't really have time to see everything. We got whatever was on the niece's list, packed the frozen foods in my Trader Joe's cooler bag, and went to dinner nearby. This was a great experience! My niece has home meals for a while without breaking the bank... and everything fit in her home freezer!

The local Contract Furnishing Mart didn't have a sample of the quartz color I wanted to see, so that's why I went, but now I consider it lucky. I walked into the gallery, and Melissa was so professional and helpful; she showed me to what I was looking for, and even offered me a cup of coffee. I was first able to compare between the colors I was interested in the indoor gallery, which had small (the likes of which you might find at CFM) and medium sized samples (larger samples on the wall), as well as installation examples (model kitchens, baths, desks, etc.). Later I was able to go into the warehouse to see the full slabs. This was really helpful, because smaller samples don't really tell the full story in how the color variations might show up on a larger surface. Seeing the full slab really cemented my decision on which one to use (which is funny, because the color is called "Blanc Cemento"). On the way out Melissa gave me small sample squares of the colors I was interested in, along with a brochure of quartz care tips in a little bag. This is also helpful, in order to show family members or contractors the color(s) and textures. I didn't expect to come, but it was a great, surprisingly pleasant visit. I think being able to see the full slabs and their full line in person is really priceless. If you're in the market for quartz countertops, I highly recommend visiting the gallery.

My husband is almost as nosy as I am when it comes to discovering new places. When he pulled into the parking lot, I knew exactly why I had missed it previously. Not only is the parking lot pretty narrow and single aisled, the concrete-blocked storefront itself is not obvious. I would assume it would be maybe the corporate office for the postal service or something similar. But definitely not a grocery store. With that being said, the storefront was clearly open and was easy to access. They had carts that were also easy to access, the aisles were clean and organized, although it was a 50/50 shot on value. It really depends on what you're looking for. But for the most part, protein sold in bulk was a great deal, along with other bulk goods like beans, pasta, grains, etc. I didn't really see that great of a discount on smaller individual items like spices or beverages, or even produce. Checking out was simple. Everyone made a single file line down and waited to cashiers to become available. Since the single file goes down the store to the right, it was difficult to see the cashiers. We waited about 10 minutes to be checked out. I'm not entirely sure if mostly working with other food service vendors and workers changes anything for the cashiers here, but I felt that it did lend a bit of a detached air from what you and I are used to in a more public grocery store. The employees, although they acknowledged everyone, were did not appear to manage the line (i.e.: calling out when a checker is ready, instead waiting for the customer to approach them), welcome or greet customers. They were having a few side conversations that halted traffic for a bit, but we have just arrived in time for a shift change, breaks, or something else similar. All in all, I felt the opportunity cost of all things given was enough to definitely return in the future. We made out like a bat out of hell with the bulk frozen ahi tuna and we'll be eating delicious dinner for the next couple weeks!
