After much searching for a dedicated corvette garage, I was recommended to this place by a woman who said it was the only place that didn't rip her off for an oil change. I was completely satisfied with a needed clutch replacement. The only qualifier was that they only warranted with GM parts, and I used a MacCloud street twin , for a slight advantage over stock. the work was completed flawlessly, and modulates like stock, perfect adjustment. noe , the service manger is honest, and interested in customer satisfaction, but it is not running a charity I got a used torque tube assembly to save money, which tied up their bay unexpectedly . But if I had been more knowledgeable at the time , I would have had a compete rebuild , for a little more money. I wish I would have been better informed , as the labor charge is high and the used connectors have quickly gone the 40,000 miles that is the replacement milage that Neo advised when the car was apart. . read more

I was excited to get my cosmetic work done on the inside Of my 2001 C5... well I will not mention names but there are 2 older gentleman running that Business. When I was told we will have your car ready in 4-days.. Well that never happened and they could not match the color of my interior and left the inside worse.. They did install few items but they where pricy..$$$ And did not connect my tail light I am disappointed and wished I would have read on their reviews.. they need to learn how to use computers and Look for items from other companies or places...! read more

Nobody likes taking their car into the shop, especially if you have a Corvette. Thank goodness I found Noe at J&D. Been here twice now and the service and prices are unbeatable. First trip was for shocks and headlamps. Prices were almost 50% higher at a few other specialty shops. Second trip was for headlamp ballast and I didn't even bother shopping around. Now found me a used part at 1/2 the price of new and had me in and out in less than 90mins. I hope this is the last trip in a while, but they will get my business whenever i need service. Noe is the man! Everyone that works here knows their stuff! I've had numerous things done to my '81 vette. This is a photo of a brand new fiberglass front end put on. Exceptional work. I recently took it back for new vacuum hoses and Noe and the team pulled me aside and showed me I had a couple of really important other thing to consider first. I took their advice, replaced all bushing in front upper and lower control arms, tightened the steering up, and also replaced missing transmission mount bolts and bushings. The difference in the cars handling is 100% better. I had no idea. These guy are absolutely amazing. Tony, the mechanic that worked on my car was one of a kind. He took the time to explain to me and physically show me every step that he would be taking to make the repairs that I requested. This review is a few years in the making. As a hobby, I have an old 1976 corvette that I tinker with. Well, I took my rear trailing arms to be rebuilt and was met by who seemed to be the owner (Noe). I dropped them off and he gave me a quote for the rebuilds. He had somewhat of an attitude;which was bizarre. Now granted, I look like a kid, but I make a high six figures salary. Noe goes on to say with an attitude, "you pulled these out? I should hire you here." I was thinking I could probably buy this place 3 times over, dufus. Well a few days later I returned for my rebuilt trailing arms. They were rebuilt but were filthy and rusted. A set of trailing arms next to mine were painted and clean. I asked which ones are mine? He pointed to the rusty dirty ones. I guess the guy with the freshly painted ones were probably a family members. Saga continues... A couple years later, I went in to buy a new VIR receiver dryer. I told the counter guy that the top of the one he offered was clocked wrong. (top pointed in the wrong direction) He said he could not move it and it would void warranty if I moved it. Ridiculous; I bought it and clocked it myself. Needless to say, I do all my parts shopping online now. Get the right part and you don't have to hear what geniuses these garage monkeys are. read more

Before I begin with my amazing experience I had at J & D Corvette this afternoon, I will share my terrible experience I had this morning at the DeLillo Chevrolet Dealership in Huntington Beach. I took my 1999 Corvette to the service department of the DeLillo dealer this morning as a loud noise was coming from my left headlight when I would turn the lights off. I demonstrated this noise to the unfriendly service advisor and he said I needed a left headlight actuator (a very expensive part requiring many hours of labor). He didn't even exam the vehicle or have anyone run a diagnostic test on my car. I'm giving them 1 star versus 0 stars on Yelp since he did take the time (2-3 minutes) to call to see if the part was available and he did at least provide me the part number. He told me the part was discontinued and good luck. I then visited J & D Corvette in Bellflower who had wonderful, knowledgeable, highly trained and friendly staff...they even displayed excellent customer service unlike DeLillo Chevrolet. The service manager I worked with was named Noe. He was simply fantastic and he really knows his stuff and is very honest. An honest mechanic is very difficult to come by these days. Noe actually checked out the vehicle and found out I only needed to replace the gear. He replaced my stripped gear with a $50 brass gear and only charged me 45 minutes of labor. And I was there for less than an hour from drive up to drive away. If you have a Vette, I highly recommend going to J&D and NOT DeLillo. Moving forward, I will only take my Vette to J & D/Noe. I might have found my go to spot for my corvette! Frank took care of me and tony at the counter was helpful as well, I didn't get a shady mechanic vibe from them as you usually do at some other car shops (ACA automotive off willow and clark quoted me $3,000!! LOL for labor! ) i can spot bs pretty quick so they did good. I like that they called me multiple times to let me know the progress of the work being done and if anything else needs to be done if i give them the OK to fix it or leave it, i bought a turn signal switch and it turned out to be for a early model and not the proper one for my car, they could have installed it anyway and let it fail down the road but he called me and told me about it. i was bummed out at first but also telling myself that its gonna be pricey now! Should i continue?? But nope! They have a mini warehouse of parts for all corvettes and it cost me $50! It turned out that my flasher/relay for the brake lights was shot too. So out the door it was $305 with labor included! Corvette Mike in anaheim was charging me $380 for just the labor alone! I'll definitely be back soon for my windows and headlights! They offer warranty on all work so why not!? Btw thanks for the corvette keychain you threw in. Hopefully they can keep and maintain the five star rating i gave them! read more

After two different dealers, and three different mechanics shops, everyone said I needed a Body Control Module. Well after a few thousand dollars and no results, J & D Corvette fixed my car and come to find out I did not need a Module after all. J & D Corvette's went through it and took their time and actually fixed the problem, and for hundreds less. An employee name Frank at J & D Corvette was very honest and treated me as a family member. I recommend J & D Corvette to everyone who drives these amazing cars to go here for their issues. Hands down this place is off the charts. Dropped off my C3 to have it tuned up and inspected prior to a roadtrip to Las Vegas. Engine blew up 90 minutes after I picked up the car. Shop NEGLECTED to put coolant / H2O in the cooling system! Concourse car turned into a complete rebuild. The car was running cool prior to car going into J&D. I was able to prove (video evidence) the neglect was fault of J&D. They (Woody) refused to take responsibility. STAY AWAY read more

Prices are higher than online shops. I was annoyed they wanted to sell me a used pigtail for my license plate assembly for 15 when I can buy a new one at autozone for 5 bucks... guy at the counter was helpful but didn't seem to really get what I was telling him, even though I told him mine was a restomod and it had a convertible top modified on an 82 body on a 74 frame... I guess it would be kinda confusing. They did have a lot of parts on hand I needed and it did save me on shipping. read more

Had a great experience with J&D Corvette. I worked with Noe, one of the two owners, and found him to be nice, honest, and timely. I visited J&D when my 94 C4 was hesitating. He diagnosed the problem as a faulty opti-spark, which is a common problem with this model. For $750 parts and labor, I got my baby back running like brand new. Having looked at the maintenance records on my car, I could tell that a previous owner had gotten a bad deal at a shop in Costa Mesa. That shop had charged him $1200 parts and labor for a "rebuilt" opti-spark. Noe at J&D informed me that these rebuilt optis aren't very reliable, and that that's why mine had gone bad. So, for $450 less, I got an original Delco/Delphie opti-spark installed. Two months have passed, and it still runs like a champ. Also, as a side note, I see gorgeous stingrays here every time I visit. If these drivers trust their babies with J&D, I figure, so can I. read more

Had the misfortune of someone hitting and damaging the rear driver side quarter panel of my red C6 Z06. I knew I had to go to a specialist and found these guys through yelp. These guys don't play. They are the real deal. I dropped off the car. In a few days I had a quote and they coordinated with insurance making an otherwise painful experience as stress-free as possible. They scheduled the car for pickup in two weeks to repair the panel, which I didn't even know was possible until Noe explained how it works. They did a miraculous job! Noe and his crew also blended the paint seamlessly! Noe called me ahead of schedule from pickup and let me know of a good time to pick up the Corvette. He then surprised me with a little extra. Ever since I bought the Corvette, it had a small but deep scratch under the right headlamp. It was always something that bugged me. Noe and his crew FIXED it!!!! These guys will go the extra mile for your Corvette. If you have the misfortune of having to visit a body shop for your Corvette, don't go to the guys on TV, don't bother with your friends "hookup" don't waste your time. 1969 Corvette hadn't run since 1984! Flat-bedded it to J&D and asked for an estimate to get it running and driving. After a few days,Noe called with a very reasonable estimate,and said it might take some time, but they'd get it done. Went to check on it and to bring them new wheels and tires, and they suggested adding power steering because of the wide tires. Best suggestion ever! They really know how to dial in the car to make it comfortable to drive. Anyway, after 3 weeks and a new gas tank, brakes, radiator, and fuel lines, I drove it home lovin' it. It runs like new and after some further cosmetic work it will be a valued addition to m garage, probably destined to be my daily driver! The overall tab was very reasonable given all the work they did. I'll never take it anywhere else. read more

I asked J and D Corvette to finish an oil pressure sensor install that I had started. I made an appointment because of how busy they are during the covid-19 crisis. Noe wrote up my order when I arrived. He was courteous, knowledgeable, patient and professional. The car was completed quickly and for a fair price. Besides Noe, I also dealt with Frank, Tony and one gentleman who disinfected my car upon delivery (I am sorry I did't get his name). All four were interested in making sure me and my car were given great service. They succeeded and have made me a regular customer. Since my C6 was still under my extended warranty, I took my car to the dealership to fix my hatch that would not open with the remote. My service advisor informed me I was in need of new brakes and rotors for the front and rear. The estimate was about $1100. Since I quit my job, I was not comfortable with the quote. I called a local Corvette specialist who served my C4, but they were not open on the weekend. After locating J&D, I remembered consulting with them in the past and the estimate was considerably less than the dealership's. I felt comfortable with them since Corvettes is all they do. The dealership tried to tell me aftermarket parts were put on my car and this is why my rotors would need to be replaced. When I informed him only the dealership in Las Vegas serviced my car prior to relocating to back to LA, he could not rationalize why there would be a problem. After speaking with Noe and Adrian, I was reassured my repair could be done on Saturday and they took the extra measure of ordering rotors in the event it was necessary. When I explained to Adrian what the dealership told me, I was informed a tool was used to determine if my rotors were acceptable. When going over my bill, I was elated to learn, I would need rotors for the rear only the next time I got brakes providing I changed them timely. My bill was less than $450 and I was extremely happy. Since my extended warranty expired last month, there is no need for me to frequent the dealership. Honest people. Experts with my favorite car. I will definitely return for future needs. read more

Eddye (my '69 metallic burgundy Corvette with a whopping 427 big-block under the hood) got scratched up by my (now former) mechanic, so the search was on for a proper restoration shop who was familiar with the nuances of fiberglass. Then I remembered that I have picked-up some hard to find NOS parts at J&D in Bellflower and decided to give them a call. Glad I did! The shop is managed by Noe (pronounced "Noy") Garcia -- who has over forty years experience working on vettes. After talking with him for a few minutes, I soon realized that this man is a walking encyclopedia of all things Corvette. Heck, the place has been around since 1958! Being a member of the NCRS I was instantly put at ease knowing I was in competent hands. Cut to the chase (ha); they did an exceptional job matching and blending the paint, it was a very reasonable estimate and turn-around, and they are well versed in dealing with insurance agencies. Quality: These guys have been working for corvettes for years and they know what they are doing. So far no problems and they have fixed any situation that has come up with my c3 when I brought it in. Environment: It's a little bit busy here but it's totally understandable. Lots of people come here for quality repairs and I know they wanna make sure they don't rush a job just to get more people in the door. Price: I think pice is a little higher than average but yet price is open to interpretation by ones opinion. I recently had my 2000 C5 Convertible significantly serviced by J&D. They changed all the belts and hoses, water pump, new radiator, harmonic balancer, new clutch, brakes, oil pressure switch, A\C compressor, etc. etc. I cannot speak highly enough of Noe and his team. They did an EXCELLENT job! They identified a couple of bushings and bearings that were approaching their end of life, and since they already had the car torn apart, the additional cost was very minimal, and will save me money down the road. After the work was complete, I took the car on a 4000 mile road trip. I spent days in the deserts of Arizona and New Mexico with temps up to 115 degrees, then to Texas where the speed limit was for reference only - the car performed flawlessly. I had a fender bender in my new Vett. Nothing disastrous but of course everything is ugly when your baby gets hurt. So I took it to J& D to get it taken care of. They did a great job in about 5 weeks. They not only took care of the color match but also replaced my other headlight to be sure they matched correctly. I also had them take care of other areas on the car where the clear coat was fading. I'm very happy with the job they did. The car looks like new!
