    Took my car here to be serviced I have used them in the past no problem! But wait I'm lying they fixed my radiator and forgot some hose to my transmission.. Which caused me to keep losing fluid and. Agave my tranny snatch. I went to AAMCO and the guy Mike told me did you just have some work done in your radiator? I was like yes he said take it back because they didn't hook up your hose that's why you are losing fluid! I took it back and they fixed it! The Dad apologized and was the one to agree to fix it! Okay so that brought a little trust even tho another mechanic told me after that stress on the transmission you may need a new one soon? Okay I am a woman idk? Now my car had another problem which required more exploration I had some trust issues but I went ahead and got it fixed. My car was there for almost a month I get it back and. It is packed with ants yes ants! I call and the son says take it to be cleaned and he will pay half? I just spent over 2 thousand dollars and he says half? Meanwhile I'm killing ants because they parked my car next to a large trash bin pissed off

    Javier saved my 2007 F150XLT following a catastrophic power loss while driving home. I had to get my truck towed to the first shop, where the estimate was that it was likely totaled- that it might be the flex plate, or could be an engine replacement, but either way it was going to cost more that the truck was worth. The truck is in great condition cosmetically, and I did not want to give up on it. Demoralized, and nearly resigned that it was the end of the road for my truck, I did more research into local shops and found Javier. I had it towed there, and Javier introduced himself with calmness and the confident, even-keeled reassurance that comes from decades of experience and having seen it all, probably some worse conditions than my truck. I came away feeling optimistic that it might not be the end of the road after all. He said it could be one of the components that I had been told by the first shop, but that he'd need to get it up on the lift and would get back to me at the end of the day. By that time he had removed the transmission and confirmed that it was the flex plate and that I might also need a new starter. He gave me an estimate that sounded reasonable, especially given the prior estimate I had received, and the next day (Saturday morning) confirmed what he'd told me. He invited me to come into the shop so that we could look at the damage together, and so he could explain to me what the process of fixing it would entail, before he started the work. My truck was ready by the following Monday evening, with brand new starter and flex plate, and now it runs like new. It was the happiest drive home I can remember since my kids were born. I told my wife that I'd found our new shop. If you're out there looking for a reliable shop to become your new shop, just go to J&E.

    5 gold stars!! The Big O Tires shop in Richmond did 2 great…read morejobs on my Camry this week. I got a routine service at the usually excellent dealer. Dealer found a tiny puncture in one tire while rotating tires and needed a couple of hours and extra $$$ to patch it. Big O is excellent at quick, inexpensive tire patches/plugs for 1/2 that price, so I went to Big O instead for the tire repair. Next day, tires felt rough at freeway speed. Back to Big O, where I agreed to pay for an alignment. In 1/2 the expected wait time, car was ready. Alignment was fine, but front tires were unbalanced (dealer's rotation?) . Manager asked me to test drive it and report back. Next day, I returned after freeway test to report wheels are now fine, and to pay the agreed price. He said 'No charge, because it didn't need the alignment and rebalancing was a quick fix". Amazing!! I've heard all the horror stories about bad Big O shops, but I'm here to tell you this is a good, honest shop that knows how to troubleshoot, and does the necessary work quickly and correctly.     This is a great business and they are capable of solving issues, my experience I bought all four…read moretires for my wife's car and the next day one of them just let all air out while driving then I brought the car back, they make it seems like they don't like people bringing back something they already did, you don't feel the same attentions as the first day service, but yes, they did a good job replacing the broken tire with a brand new one, I expect to see the difference on the brand new tire than the rest, so because the service was not as a great I asked them to show me the bad tire that they removed, the guy went in there and find it that's good, but he is came out and just throw it in front of me on a bad mood I will say, I just say thank you I appreciate it and went to my car. Then I turned on my car and saw the TPMS light on my car but there's no way I'm going back in there. So I took a picture of my dashboard and then just left. I will rate you guys with two stars just because if you have done the job right, I didn't even have to come back, but I did and I had to take a day off work.

    Do they serve Black people??? No really, I mean it do they? So I came here because it's down the…read morestreet from where I live, and I wanted a simple thing for to get air into my tire. However, I noticed that as the gentleman in front of me pulled in, they decided to close up all of their base. That was interesting, considering the fact that they were going to be closed in 32 minutes. They say they close at 7:00 and at 6:28 they were closing up for the day. It wasn't like they were servicing so many people, they weren't gonna have time to get to us, there was no when they're getting serviced. The red headed manager was talking to the person in the car in front of me and took a long time talking to it. I eventually noticed that he was signaling for me to drive around to the other side of him and that's when I noticed that the man he was talking to was black, like me. This guy pulled off, after being told that they were closed and that they couldn't get any tire service. I explained my situation and told him that I just wanted to get air for my tire. I bought my tires at their sister station and I tried to put air into my tire and it wouldn't take. This guy said that he couldn't service me because they were emptying the air tanks and that it would talk 1/2 hour or so to turn it on again. Are you kidding me??? So I had to drive two blocks home on a tire that was flat to my rim. But, I was very lucky because he told me to go to two other tire shops in the area, something I would not have had to do if they would not have closed 32 minutes before they advertised. This reminds me of the southern stories I've heard of when Black people are driving through the south and wanted to find a hotel. They pulled into a hotel where it said no vacancy, and once the person operating hotel saw they were black the no vacancy sign would light up , I see their "no vacancy" sign or their "I don't wanna serve Black people sign" and it is time for them to close! I also want them to know that I sent my money elsewhere because I want to work with people are willing to give tires, the Black people and that should not be hard. This is my second interaction like this where I felt like I was turned away. I love the idea of having a tire shop down the street to get service, however, I hate the fact that I go in and I'm treated like a second class citizen. Maybe they do this because they are under new management. Maybe they don't like money from black peoples in their neighborhood. But the next day I drove almost one mile away and got proper service. They found the hole and offered a new or used tire, as they should. Because they actually want to service their customers.

    Donny, your ego does not change the facts…read more When I called to let you know that my brakes were making a loud banging/scraping sound every time I braked, I was calm, respectful, and simply letting you know something was wrong after paying your shop to do my brakes and rotors. I was not yelling, cursing, or being disrespectful. Instead of handling it professionally, you personally cursed me out, called me a liar, told me I was no longer welcome there, and laughed while saying that if my brakes had been installed wrong, "I'd be dead." That is not funny. It is not reassuring. It is completely unacceptable from any business owner, especially when someone is calling about a serious safety issue. I then went to another professional brake shop for a second opinion, and they confirmed that the left rear caliper was missing a bracket bolt, and the bottom bolt was hand-tight/loose, which was causing the banging/popping sound when braking. So yes, there was a real issue, and I was absolutely right to call. I had been coming to this shop for three years with no issues, spending my money here and trusting you with my vehicle. That is what makes this even worse. The moment your shop made a dangerous mistake, instead of taking accountability, you chose arrogance, hostility, and intimidation. Honestly, I should have taken legal action. When a customer calls to report a serious brake issue after your shop performed the work, the response should never be insults, laughter, and banning them from the business. I called because something was wrong, not because I wanted an argument. It may be cheap. It may be convenient. But if something goes wrong and you speak up, be prepared for the owner to protect his ego instead of protecting his customers. You do not ever have to worry about getting my money again. I will never return, and I strongly caution anyone against trusting this shop with brake work or anything safety-related.
