Just finishing my pool re plaster. It turned out beautiful and baby butt smooth. These guys plastered my pool when new, early 1990's, first re plaster in 2007, and now. First class service by a first class company. I can highly recommend them for your pool plastering needs.

They do amazing work! Very professional and quick. Our pool had 25 year old plaster that was literally coming off in chunks. We decided to do pebble tech instead of plaster and added abalone shells to the pebble tech. The only thing I would do different next time is I would have ordered 2 bags of abalone shells instead of just 1. Would definitely use them again!

I purchased a home built in 1952 that included a huge pool, and while the house has been updated the pool was all but original. J&F came and gave me a great price to have it remodeled. The crews were professional and proficient! Dave they're Estemator has kept up with me throughout the whole process and has helped me even though the startup process. Completely satisfied and highly recommending to anyone that needs professional pool remodeling done!

My wife and I attended the Spring Home & Garden Show in Sacramento, with the intention of seeking out a qualified pool refinisher. Our home that we bought came with a pool but the plaster was pretty well shot. J&F was one of 4 outfits that we got bids from. Initial price was a little higher than the others, but my wife was very impressed with the professionalism of Frank. He explained all of the options, and the process while reviewing the current shape of the pool. After considering all of the options, we opted to go with J&F. We were able to work out a price that closely mirrored that of another highly regarded competitor, and included a few 'extra' options that were not offered with the competitor. One being the drain covers on the floor of the pool are covered with the pebble material, rather than the standard white covers that scream "I'M RIGHT HERE" when the pool is full. Additionally the office staff is very good, and turnaround time on questions is typically a few hours to 1 business day if they couldn't/didn't know an answer immediately. Considering this is the busy season, I felt that was very prompt. J&F utilizes several different crews for each step of the process. This is ideal, because they can run several jobs concurrently without causing unnecessary delays to the customer if one or another crew gets tied up longer than expected at another jobsite. Materials were delivered on time, and the process for the most part was very smooth and easy. I give 5 out of 5 stars, with one minor caveat. J&F does NOT provide post installation startup. You (the customer) are responsible for securing a pool service to do the initial startup, and that cost varies depending upon your chosen service provider. I used Pool Time (see my review for them) and it was very reasonable. I would urge J&F to consider working with a pool service provider, if for no other reason than providing a seamless product line from start to finish. The pool however looks stunning. I did pay the extra charge to have the old finish removed versus plastering over the old. It will last longer, and the worry of a delamination is eliminated. Start to finish, aside from the City of Folsom permit check was 5 days!

I wanted to thank everyone at J&F plastering for doing an amazing job 19 years ago on our Pool! So when it was time to refinish it, I had no hesitation about calling them again! Fairly priced, completed in a timely manner, very talented clean ,courteous workers. Assistance with picking the perfect tile to go with Tahoe Blue QuartzScape color ! I'm looking forward to summer fun in the sun!! Thank you J&F Plastering!!!

I was referred to J&F from a friend! I had other quotes and found them to be more bang for your buck so to speak! We started in the middle of winter so that was a bit challenging but the end result has been wonderful. I can't wait for the pool to be warm enough to start using! I would recommend anyone to them all the field guys are so friendly and things were always picked up when they left!

    Finished pool!

I want to buy spa, I'm seriously making a decision tomorrow. He continued to be rude about delivery time. I confronted him about how rude he was acting toward me.... he actually told me "just go" !!! OMG... really couldn't believe The customer service. He was waving his hand shooing me away. Stilling in his chair, mouthing off to me. It was very upsetting , he should be embarrassed. If he treats people this bad when they first come in. Can't imagine how horrible it would be to get your hot tub. They do not allow wet test either ! Note: I went into this website and I seen the hot tub that would be suitable. The young man was too lazy to show us. I see his response: read below and you'll be able to see that he continues to be rude. Very unprofessional! For the record I love cats and all animals. Just don't want them eating on top of my dinner table.

I have since been informed by two other pool plastering company representatives in Sacramento that plastering around small tiles is not a big deal regardless of the pool plaster selected. I am very upset that Chief influenced Greg at GS Design and as a result they did not make my original pebble pool plaster selection work! Instead, I was basically "corralled" by GS Design into selecting micro pebble at $6,000 additional in cost. As the pool Owner, I should have been told to select whatever plaster material I desired, and they would make it work!! That is what I expected from GS Design. Now I have to live with this pool surface which looks terrible after only 3 years old. It was also much more expensive and not the gem it should have been. In my opinion, GS Design should have the expertise to make the right decision and have provided me with my original plaster selection. I am not at all happy with the existing results!

I called Greg several times to come and look at it, but he told me to buy some chemicals and use them as directed. Nothing worked... I sort of gave up on removing them. Then one of my control valves went out when we where about to use the spa with my friends, I called him at 8pm, he answered and walked me through repairs. It sort of worked, but we still could balance the valve. I called him again few days later and asked him to stop by and fix the problem, he assured me that he will take care of it promptly. Since I had to travel that week I never checked on the repairs, just took him at his word, big mistake. . He never showed up ro do any repairs. In conclusion he did give me a great price, but I wish I would've went with a more reputable company to build my pool, with someone who keeps their word. I will never do business with him again and would not recommend him to anyone.

Skyler at the store was super helpful and knowledgeable without ever feeling like he was pressuring me to buy anything. After a few weeks of pool maintenance, we ended up choosing to replace our old dying pump and Priest did a great job helping us find one that would work with our pool size without trying to upsale or sell us a pump that was out of our price range or unneeded. The actual service guys were amazing as well! On our first service call (pre new pump) Mark was so great at explaining the system to a first timer and helped us do maintenance on what we had... and then when we actually got the new pump he helped install and explain the new equipment (thanks Cody too for the installation). Later, when a minor issue arose after the installation (that wasn't there initially but was because installing the new pump fixed that area and then put pressure on another area) he was super quick to follow up and work with us to make sure our system was at 100%. I appreciate all the communication and work the team did and will continue to go to this location for my future pool needs!
