Over and over again, even after a phone call to to re-establish expectations. If you call, they won't pick up or get back to you. In and out within 10 mins for a "full pool service". Didn't return calls as stated they would three time over 5 days , when I finally spoke with someone they had no reason or remorse for their inconsiderate action but did request to do a spring filter cleaning. (140.00 $) their spring cleaning consisted of a 20 minute hose off of filters, afterwards pool sweep was slow and not working properly , Next day I spent 2hrs cleaning filters that obviously had not been cleaned well and were still brown and very dirty, afterwards filters were white and clean. I checked pool sweep and water flow to find both working perfectly. When I presented pictures & a video to owner (and person who did the cleaning) showing there supposed cleaning he took no responsibility....local boy didn't do good. Great pool company. Drove out of my way to get to a Non Leslie experience. Although I've taken care of my pool for 15years myself, I had some equipment issues that Les walked me through. Problem was the length of time my equipment was down, I had the greenest pool I've ever seen. Asked Les For advice and he gave me their proven technique which is chlorine and a couple of additives. Had some follow questions where Les went above and beyond to get me through the issues. Sincere thanks to Les. Not sure if he's the owner or not. I came her looking for help with my salt cell. The old guy could hardly be bothered, and some random customer behind me butts into my conversation and says, "Just add chlorine!" Gee, thanks for the unsolicited advise on my SALT water pool, dumbass! Then he asks the old guy supposedly helping me if he had an O-ring and starts helping him and walks away! WTH?! After he rings this dude upI asked if he could order the sensor for the salt cell as it's clearly not reading the salt cell. He says, "What part?" Really!? So I ask again, and he laughs and says, " Yeah, I haven't been able to get sensor parts or even salt cells for at least a year. You should go online. Ok, I get it. You can't be bothered with a new customer. No worries, I'll never be back, and hopefully, people reading my review will avoid your establishment as well! read more

Most unhelpful company I have ever talked to. Called to ask for a recommendation on an above ground pool pump and to see if they have any in stock. His answer was I cant get them and I dont have any recommendations. I asked about a specific one and he said I dont have an answer for you. If you are like me there are times when you put a value on an independently owned business. Sure you can go to home depot, leslies pool supply, walmart and other places to get your pool supplies. i recommend Mahalos for a lot of reasons but in the end it comes down to trusted service. We just bought a house with a pool, and let me tell you, it has been the biggest learning curve of our lives! We found Mahalo as a recommendation from a local pool guy who said we could get some good advice from here as we slowly learn the ins and outs of our pool. We come here every other week during the summer months for a free water check, chlorine, other maintenance chemicals and equipment parts. The owner is always willing to sit down and chat about problems we are having and questions we come up with. Local business, unfortunately they don't know their inventory. On several occasions I've called for a part and they say they have it, drive over there and they don't. They could simply walk 10 feet and check if the part is actually there, instead they say they'll order it. Hello? I could've easily ordered it, and cheaper online as well. These folks really know what they are doing. They are long time veterans of the pool business who don't waste your time or money. They taught me when I had my first pool and I went there exclusively when I lived closer. When I moved further from their shop, I used other stores closer to home sometimes, but I still go back here when time permits, or I have a real question or problem.
