This place is goooooood! I was driving by and saw one of the workers attend to the wood burner pit outside, I knew it was the real deal. Talked to the cooks for a little bit who were extremely friendly (even treated my boys to some samples) and seemed very happy to work there. The owner pulled up and spoke to my family and I as well. The pulled pork is my favorite. Great smoke flavor. Not dry either! My wife loves the brisket. The hot sausage is a hit! The bbq sauce is wonderful! And the greens....whoa! Everything was great but the pulled pork was absolutely outstanding! Smoky, flavorful and great chunks of quality meat. For sides the potato salad was so good. Flavorful with either some pickles/ relish or vinegar. I have had so many potatoes salads that taste like over cooked potatoes and mayonnaise... this is not one of them I demolished the container. Seriously some of the best bbq I've had (by far the best in WA) and I'm from the south! Brisket was super tender and melt in your mouth, tri tip was also very good. Everything including the sides were very flavorful. All the workers are so friendly and nice. One of them gave us a couple free water bottles which was so sweet of him. We stopped by just before closing on a Tuesday night, hoping to pickup a menu, but Mandy said she still had everything on the menu so we ordered a 4 meat/4 side combo and we weren't disappointed. She was very friendly, and provided amazing service, something you don't find very often these days. So much so that she earned hugs from our kids before we left. ALL of the meats were spot on, very flavorful and the sauce complimented it. All the portions were large and perfect for the 4 of us eating. The brisket especially was full of flavor and was extremely tender and juicy. We're not cornbread people but we all ate it, and the sauce that comes with it was the icing on the cake. The person at the counter says they are known for their brisket, so I got their brisket. It was nothing special. Yes, it was cooked pretty well but it had absolutely no flavor. It's served on this really basic cheap bun. Not much else to say except it's just pretty average. Same thing was the case with the macaroni. No evidence of any seasoning and again just pretty average. All this while charging $18 for the sandwich. I'm good with keeping my money and not going back. read more

We had leftovers that could feed two (we are average eaters). We had the brisket, tri tips, pulled pork and chicken breasts. All the meats were tasty. Our friends from Texas were complimentary of the meats. Since they didn't use any sauces, they were really tasting the meat for both flavor and moisture! I enjoyed both the BBQ sauces, spicy and non-spicy. The corn bread with its honey butter spread was good. Likewise, the Mac and Cheese. I enjoyed the Caviar mixed salad and collard greens too. To be fair I showed up an hour from closing and it seemed like it must have been an exhausting day for the crew, because when I pulled up all of the staff was outside in the parking lot. As far as my order the food was delicious but was missing the bbq sauces I ordered. I also ordered extra meat but was out of luck there. When my order was dropped off to my car the employee told me they didn't have any extra meat, so she gave me a side if mac and cheese instead.
